One hour after the show began with performances of Vietnamese hip-hop group Big Toe, singers Huong Giang, Phuong Vy, Hoang Hai and Anh Khoa, the host had to ask the audience to keep order because 20 people had fainted.



With only four songs – “Sorry Sorry Sorry,” “It’s You,” “Happiness” and “Rokuko,” performed by 8/13 members of Super Junior – Vietnamese fans went crazy. After the band left, many teens bearing Super Junior banners lay down on the ground. Many others cried: “We have been waiting for you for five years! We will remember you a lot!”



Though the departure time of Super Junior had not been disclosed, when the band left the stadium, many teens immediately got into buses for Noi Bai airport to see their idols off.



Super Junior is one of the leading bands in Asia, so most of the audiences at MTV Exit were their fans. Kate Miller-Heidke is a very famous singer in Australia, but she is unknown to Vietnamese audiences. Whenever the name Super Junior was called out, fans went crazy. Over 20 fans were fainted and needed assistance from health workers.



After the show, the road from the stadium was jammed for nearly two hours.

The singer-turned-entrepreneur talked about the changes in the entertainment business in Asia during his lecture titled "Don't try to cut your ears!", referring to how legendary artist Vincent Van Gogh cut off his ear and stating that the painter could have created even more influential art if he had not done so.

He also emphasized the need for a new educational system to foster the growth of the human resources for the rapidly changing future, saying that "extraordinary talent who thinks in uncommon and abnormal ways" should be nurtured as leaders.

Lee is said to have received a big applause from some 700 attendees at the event, which was the 19th annual business conference sponsored by the Asian clubs of Harvard Business School, Harvard Kennedy School and Harvard Law School.

The Asian clubs focus on inviting prominent figures in Korea, China, Japan and other Asian countries to give lectures on the financial and political aspects of the business world.

The producer has given lectures at Harvard for three consecutive years, from 2006 thru 2008, and was also invited to MIT Sloan School of Management and Johnson School at Cornell University, where he spoke about "The Global Strategy of Hallyu" in 2008.

Lee, 57, started his music career in the 1970s as a singer of Korean pop band April & May and released his first of several solo albums in 1983.

He established SM in 1995, which quickly became one of the most influential talent agencies in Korea. He has created and masterminded the successful careers of numerous K-pop artists including BoA, Girls' Generation, SHINee, Super Junior and TVXQ.

Both Lee Da Hae, from the recent drama 'Chuno', and the charismatic Jang Geun Seuk, from "You are Beautiful", will make appearances and have a good time with Kim Heechul.

Found out something funny today, and i wouldn't be selfish enough not share to it here.
Well, I've been searching for photos a while ago and notice that Jang Geun Suk and Sungmin's hairstyle were somehow the same. Proof on what i am saying and to make it clearer?

Here is Jang Geun Suk's hairstyle when they were still filming You're Beautiful. His bangs covering his right eyes, looking so mysterious and remembering during the drama his face were so serious, wearing black coats and those black eyeliners but still so handsome and so cute. Okay sorry, daydreaming already(LOL). Were am i, oh right, here is the photo! XD



And here is Super Junior Sungmin's hairstyle. So handsome isn't he? Somehow he looked so mature here but still charming. His hairstyle is not opted for a drama but judging from the photo it's a press conference (i guess) of their Super Show II Concert (see you on the 10th!) and i don't know where and when this is but still so cute!

[news] Super Junior in Vietnam for MTV Exit

9:30 SUPER JUNIOR has set foot in Vietnam. And they will perform 4 songs?


At exactly 10 AM, the faces familiar to thousands of Viet fans appeared at Noi Bai airport. Blue balloons shook everywhere, the smiles, the tears, followed the members of Super Junior when they stepped from the car to My Dinh stadium. There, Super Junior rehersed a total of four songs.

12:53: SuJu has exited outside from gate B and boarded the car to go to lunch. But currently there are still many fans waiting to glimpse SuJu even though they went out a different gate.

12:30: Super Junior boarded the car to go eat lunch, probably a Daewoo*, then there was news that the group will check in at the hotel on Hoang Dieu street at 2pm.

12:15: Super Junior rehersed a total of four songs at the MTV EXIT stage - My Dinh. Outside the stadium, fans sang along with the lively beat of "Sorry Sorry."

11:18: News from the HHTO group** at the hotel: right now there are almost 100 fans waiting at Fraser Suites hotel. The atmosphere greeting SuJu is still relatively calm because the boys already appeared and were ready to perform at My Dinh. They (the fans) have waited there (at the hotel) since 9AM.

Every car which approaches the hotel will be mistaken by fans to be SuJu and (they) would yell loudly "Super Junior! Super Junior." These fans here have not yet known that SUJU are actually rehersing at My Dinh. The security at the hotel was increased.

10:58: Kyuhyun suddenly raised two hands to shake a fan's hand at My Dinh stadium. She* burst into tears after being lucky enough to shake hands with Kyuhyun and Ryeowook.

10:57: Super Junior is currently at My Dinh stadium to reherse.

10:45: News from the crew at Super Junior's hotel: right now no customers are allowed to sit in the hotel lobby. If anyone (even a customer who has already booked a room) by any chance happens to sit there, they will lose their room reservation immediately. Security has been tightened to the upmost to ensure the safety for Super Junior while they are in Vietnam.

10:37: According to the news from the crew at the hotel, security is very tight. No customers of any type are allowed to check in before noon. Everyone, even if already booked a room a few days before will have to check in after 2PM.

10:24: The parking area at Noi Bai airport is already packed with cars to greet SUJU; these areas were reserved by SUJU fans. Right now there are still a lot of fans crying after seeing Super Junior in person.

10:19: According to our reporter, Super Junior will go straight from the airport to My Dinh stadium to reherse.

10:15: The moment they saw Super Junior, many fans at the airport burst into tears.

10:11: When the fans yelled loudly "Super Junior! Super Junior!", inside the car bearing the plate number 29Y 5586** a Korean boy surprsingly opened the window curtain to take a look.

10:00: Unlike the predictions, Super Junior still exited the airport via the normal route. The members of Super Junior stepped out from the waiting room before the screams of almost 3000 fans.

At last the day that the Kpop fans of Vietnam and fans of Super Junior have been talking about has arrived. Around 10 AM this morning (27.3), the eight boys of Super Junior set foot down in Noi Bai airport, Hanoi to attend the MTV Exit program to be held tonight at My Dinh stadium.


From last night, a large number of Super Junior fans have waited at the airport in order to get a good spot and not pass by the opportunity to see the boys appear. But this morning, both hallways A and B have been packed full as more people arrived throughout the day to come witness the appearance of idols. And the shaky security force were not able operate efficiently with such a large amount of people.

At first, things seemed to be orderly, under the control of police and volunteer guards hired to protect Super Junior, but things started to get out of hand and chaos at Noi Bai airport once again occured, much to the fear of SuJu as the guards were unable to control the fans.

Struggling to push through the crowd to exit the airport, SuJu quickly boarded the car to go to their hotel and prepare for the performance tonight. Afterwards, members of FC (fanclub) SuJu at Vietnam burst out in tears at the fact that they had put on such a bad first impression. Even though this was not the first time we have received overseas stars to come perform, it seemed as if the security still has not improved.

ELFs cried, It's because of it's the first time for them to see Super Junior.
