Korea's popular boy group SHINee arrived in Singapore 2 nights ago, with thousands of fans welcoming them at the airport, their level of sensation is higher than that of Lee Minho.
SHINee has been invited to our country to participate in the《Oh Joonsung Drama Concert Music from Korean Drama Favourites》Concert, and has arrived in Singapore 2 nights ago, along with renowned Korean composer Oh Joosung, as well as 2 other performers, Bobby Kim and Mario.
Even though this is the first time SHINee is visiting Singapore, but their popularity in Korea has already been spread to our country. The fans came out in masses, waiting at the airport early and determined to give them a very warm welcome.
The plane landed at around 8PM, but SHINee only walked out of the Immigrations at around 10PM, and by then, there were more than a thousand eager and anticipating fans gathered outside, showing a level of extreme popularity, even much more jaw dropping than when Lee Minho arrived in Singapore in October last year. The scene was chaotic, not only were the fans screaming on top of their lungs, they were also pushing and squeezing, almost to the extent of toppling the barricades.
SHINee may be young, but they are very well trained, and promptly walked towards their bus after leaving Immigrations in order to prevent even more chaos. Leader Onew who was walking at the back, could only moved slowly while pushing the trolley due to his leg injury. Even though he was shy, he was also very friendly, and kept smiling endearingly at the fans as he walked in response to the fans' passion. The 5 of them got on a large tour bus and also waved at the fans around the bus happily, causing many little girls to burst with joy.

When talking about the scene at the airport, one of the performing guest Bobby Kim exclaimed during the press conference yesterday that, there are really a lot of SHINee fans, and even joked that they can even rival Michael Jackson!
SHINee's Key expressed: "We were very surprised, and totally did not expect so many people to welcome us. However, the organisers and also the other staff were all very good, so we did not feel uneasy because of this." SHINee's Jonghyun told Xin.Sg afterwards that they can't wait to be able to stand on stage quickly to perform for everyone.
Even though the oldest member in SHINee is only 21 years old, but SHINee said humorously that they will work hard to become an even better "man group", and called for all the fans around the world to give them more applause of encouragement.
With regards to this collaboration this time, composer Oh Joonsung praises SHINee as one of the best "man group" in Korea currently, and that not only are they good in singing, they are also very humble. When he had to contact them in order to hold the concert, SHINee agreed without any hesitation, which made him pleasantly surprised. He also hopes to be able to continue working with SHINee in the future. SHINee Has No Time to Watch Korean Dramas Due to Hectic Schedules But Wishes to Act In The Future
SHINee visits Singapore for the first time, and Xin.Sg had the rare opportunity to do a short interview with them, and understood about their views towards Korean dramas.
Key lamented that, their schedules are really too hectic, so they do not have time to watch Korean drams. But when they are outside and they see that the TV is showing "Boys Over Flowers" and the OST is being sang by them, they feel very happy. The reporter asked if they feel that Korean dramas tend to target girls more, Jonghyun laughed while nodding his head saying, perhaps so.
The 5 boys each have their own unique looks, and as to whether they will want to be a male lead in a Korean drama, Key said: "Currently we are busy performing for everyone, but I guess in the future, we will have a chance to do that. (Which female actress will you want to work with?) I don't really have the chance to think about that now."
The plot of Korean dramas are always very romantic, and the male lead is always like a prince charming, so if SHINee is to organise a surprise on Valentine's Day for a girl, what kind of plans will they have? The 5 of them looked at each other for awhile before Jonghyun answered for everyone: "Up till now, we don't have the chance to think about this, but if we have a girlfriend, we probably will plan some activities for her." The reporter pressed on about what they will plan, and Jonghyun said shyly that for him, he will probably buy a lot of flowers for the girl.
Since SHINee has such red hot popularity, will they want to come and hold a concert here in our country? They expressed happily that even though there are no confirmed dates currently, but given the chance, they really hope to be able to come back.
