[news] U-KISS Eli, Transforms Into F1 Driver

U-KISS Eli transforms into a F1 driver.

Eli, who recently met with StarNews revealed "I was selected to be part of cable channel's MBC ESPN new F1 program. The program is designed to actively promote F1 in Korea."

In Korea, Kim Jinpyo, Ryu Shi Won, Han Min Gwan, Lee Hwasun are among entertainers that enjoyed the sport much. Especially Kim Jinpyo who recently joined Korea F1's GM Daewoo Racing Team, making him the first entertainer to do so.

Eli will be joined by Lee Se Chang, Moon Heejun, Kim Hyungin, & Rainbow's Woo Seungah for F1.

Eli said "I actually don't have a driving license yet but I will get it for the purpose of this program. This is my first time being as a fixed in variety program but I will do my best."

'F1' first broadcast will be aired in early March, around the same time when the F1 season will start.

Meanwhile, U-KISS is currently busy promoting their new title track 'Bingeul Bingeul'.

[news] 2AM's Changmin gets a new nickname

Ballad Group's 2AM member Lee Changmin got a new nickname 'Dae-Jol-Dol' (Idol whom has graduated university/college) following his previous nickname, 'Goon-Pil-Dol'. (Idol whom has fulfilled his army duties)

He had graduated Donga Broadcasting Arts University's Faculty of Arts program on the 18th.

However, he could not attend his degree ceremony because he had to go to a schedule.

In the university, Changmin had focused on studying practical music and vocals. He said, despite the busy schedules because of the group's activities and appearing on variety shows, "I tried my best to graduate this year. I attended every time I was free, and I took various exams that had to do with graduation."

The group Lee Changmin is a member to, 2AM, has recently blown away the music world for the first time in their debut of 3 years, with their new song 'Even If I Die, I Can't Send You Away'.
Also, another one of their new songs, 'I'm Sorry I Can't Laugh' is gaining popularity at the same time.

Lee Changmin has gained the nickname 'Goon-Pil-Dol' by finishing his army duties very early for the first time in the history of idols.

[news] 2am Seulong, "I became a singer because of Bae Yong Jun" Options

2AM's Seulong revealed his acquaintance with Bae Yong Jun.

On the episode of KBS Media Reports that aired on Feb. 20, Seulong revealed that he has filmed a commercial with Bae Yong Jun before. In the commercial, a young Bae Yong Jun and child Seulong were smiling very widely.

"During one of the breaks, he told me to sing and when I did, he told me, "You're good. You should be a singer," said Seulong. Because of this compliment, Seulong decided to be a singer.

Seulong sent a video message to Bae Yong Jun through this episode saying "Thakn you and when we meet again, please remember me."

[News] 2AM & BEG in next week's episode of WGM

Jo Kwon & Ga-In will have a housewarming party.

On the WGM episode that aired on Feb. 20th, they showed a preview of next week in which 2AM and BEG attended the petite couple's housewarming party.

In the preview, the tension between 2AM and BEG is shown and is raising the fans' expectations.

They also had the preview of the new couple, CNBlue's Jung Yong Hwa and SNSD's Seo hyun.

On this week's episode, Jo Kwon and Ga-In went to an English class to complete their mission of becoming a "Global couple."

These two became students again and they went on a date afterwards by eating food and taking sticker photos and showed their affections for each other.

Also, while shopping with their foreigner friend, Fahim, Jo Kwon heard After School's "Because of you," and started another debate over Oh Bang Sil. After this episode, fans are wondering if Oh Bang Sil is After School's Raina.

[News] Jo Kwon- Surprise kiss attempt to Ga-In

Jo Kwon and Ga-In had an adorable performance.

On the 200th episode of Music Core, Jo Kwon and Ga-In sang "We fell in love" while holding hands and showing a lot of affections for each other.

These two became a couple through WGM last year. Their song, "We fell in love" raised 5,000 man won ($45,000), which was donated to the Haiti relief. On this week's episode, they also made a self-made music video in the middle of the streets.

On the WGM episode, Jo Kwon and Ga-In also spent a day with their foreigner friend, Fahim, and took an English class as part of their mission to be a "global couple."

On this week's Music Core episode, Hwang Jung Eum - Kim Yong Jun couple also performed together.

2NE1 also appeared on Music Core, first time ever since their debut 9 months ago, and performed "Fire" and "I don't care." SNSD performed their "A world re-met," 2PM performed "10 out of 10" and Shinee performed "Nuna, you're so pretty."

2PM's Taecyeon also performed Turbo's song "Recollection" with Kim Jong Gook.

Came across this chart on Soshified showing the popularity of female singers from 2003 till 2009!

It is pretty obvious that sexy diva Lee Hyori dominated the chart since the second half of 2003.Wonder Girls managed to move to the first place in 2008 thanks to songs like "Tell Me" and "So hot".

However,it seems that SNSD is now the most popular singer in Korea as they dominated the chart in 2009.!

[News] BEAST on 'Invincible Youth' and Nicole's new hairstyle revealed!

On KBS2 entertainment program's 'Invincible Youth' that was broadcasted on the 19th, 4MINUTE member Hyuna's intimate idol group, BEAST, appeared and gathered attention.

On this day, Invincible Youth's G7 member Narsha (BROWN EYED GIRLS), Yuri, Sunny (GIRLS' GENERATION), Hyomin (T-ARA), Sunhwa (SECRET), Goo Hara (KARA), Hyuna (4MINUTE). T-ARA's Hyomin abruptly asked BEAST, "By any chance, have you seen me on 'Invincible Youth'?

However, when he said "No. Truthfully, I came to see BROWN EYED GIRL's Narsha sunbaenim," Hyomin was frustrated.

Especially, the BEAST members prepared their Mystery dance in the vinyl house, and G7 followed and danced to the strongly addicting neck dance.
