A few days ago, we got to know Dok2. Today, we get to know him better, as well as the meaning of true Korean hip hop. With his smooth flow and genuine style, Dok2 makes his presence known. Come love him or hate him, Dok2 is here to stay.

In his music video for "It's Me," expect to see some talented artists make an appearance. Epik High shows their support of Dok2 at the 37th second mark. Also, Supreme Team makes an appearance at 1:45. In the midst of the Dok2 hype, we are also reintroduced to JooYoung, also known as Rado, whose featured vocals are on the track.

[news]Dok2 Is Now Worldwide

Underground rapper Dok2 has been making some spotlight moves to let people know that he would be dropping his first full length and now it’s here!

Dok2 officially released his album on iTunes yesterday and his MV for the song, “It’s Me” has been officially launched on the Map The Soul page. The video is very simplistic in it’s reason, Dok2 is just letting fans and everyone to see that this is him. The crunk-est rapper ever to hit Seoul, Dok2 booming voice fused the other guy’s harmony makes the song bumpin’!

[news] Get to Know Dok2

19-year-old Dok2, pronounced "Doki," is the newest member of Map The Soul. On November 25th, he will release his first album, Thunderground EP and to hype fans up, he did an album interview explaining his music and introducing himself to those who don't know him.

In this interview, he explained the meaning behind his album title stating that it represents his musical style and also that he is "not aiming for 'under' or 'over'... always reaching for the highest ground."

This album contains 8 tracks with a title single called "It's Me." Snatch a copy fast, because Thunderground EP is a limited edition. There will only be 10,000 copies sold worldwide and the only place to buy your limited edition CD is at MapTheSoul. If not, opt to get a digital copy of it through iTunes when it releases.

Although Dok2 is a new member of Map The Soul, it does not mean that he is new to the scene. He debuted back in 2005 in a duo group called All Black. Later, he joined the Movement Crew, hip hop collective formed by Drunken Tiger, as the youngest member. In the past, he has also been featured on several artists' album as well as co-produced.

Dok2 also announced that he will have a solo concert called "2009, It's Me Concert." Special guests that will be supporting him are Supreme Team, Epik High, MYK, and Planet Shiver.
