Challenging himself to get chef license this summer
In the long list of nicknames for certain idols like Variety-Dol, Beast-Dol, Emotional-Dol etc., it seems that 'Chef-Dol' will be added.
Chef-Dol is a word that is used for idol members who are good at cooking. The idol most deserving of this title is the group 2am's member Lee Changmin (picture).
Lee Changmin is challenging himself to get the chef license this summer, and become the top chef-dol. Lee Changmin, in a recent interview with Sports Donga, said that during when 2am activity will cease for a while, "In the summer, I'm thinking that I'll apply for the examination to get the chef license." He revealed, "I'm debating whether to go for the western or the Korean food chef license."
Lee Changmin's cooking skills have become a hot issue before, revealed on variety TV programs. The most typical example is MBC's show 'We Got Married', inwhich JoKwon, another member of 2am, has been casted. Also in reality, Lee Changmin is called 'Chang Geum Yi', derived from the drama 'Jang Geum Yi', for his cooking skills in the group home because of his cooking skills.
He described himself as "Goal-oriented" and revealed his hope about the chef license, saying, "I want to evolve my usual interest in cooking into a more specific goal called a chef license."
