TVXQ's　Micky Yuchun and Hero Jeajoong visited 예다울/yedawol lodge (pool villa 8 don)
for 2 nights and 3 days during holidays in a lunar New Year, and they were very satisfied.

I am not an age to cheer an idol star, but when I first met Micky Yuchun and when he laughed with a bright smile
and he greeted me with a 90 degree vow (*a formal respectful vow), I was completely struck by his charm. ^^

They even helped serve the food together with us and shared interesting jokes
and also took photographs with the staff.

They have beautiful and refreshing faces, very tall, we sighed looking at such breath-taking look on them -

Jeajoong was quieter than we had imagined, but he was very polite and very kind to all of us.

It did not seem like they were an idol star. Their manner was the best ever~~~

In addition, they told us that they will visit us again and secretly made a reservation -
(*T/N: LOL. Now it is not a secret, if it is written in a blog. ^^)

They visited the lodge to get recharged before they go to Japan, so that they can show better figures to the fans.
During their stay, they rested in a really quiet and the best manner.

Please perform well in Japan, and please show good activities in the New Year too!

[News] DBSK/THSK/TVXQ U-Know Yunho Becomes A Part Of ‘Michael Jackson’s Memorial Band’

TVXQ member U-Know Yunho will be leaving to the United States to be a part of the ‘Michael Jackson Memorial Band”.

U-Know Yunho recently signed a contract to appear at the Michael Jackson memorial concert ‘This is it’ and will be boarding a plane headed for LA, USA in March.

He is planning to join the ‘This is It’ team and learn the songs and choreography for the concert.

One representative of the concert said, “The band members of the band who were preparing for Michael Jackson’s ‘This is It’ concert, that was to start in July last year in London and go for 50 days, have gotten together. Korean singer U-Know Yunho is planning to appear in the concert and give a Michael Jackson performance.”

After finishing rehearsals, U-Know Yunho will appear in the domestic round of ‘This is It’ on the 27th and 28th of March that will be showing at the War Memorial Peace Plaza in Yongsan, Seoul.

This concert will include percussionist Bashiri Johnson, who won his fame thanks to Michael Jackson, and keyboardist Morris Pledger as well as Michael Jackson’s backup singer Judith Hill who sang and at Michael Jackson’s funeral.

U-Know Yunho will be the representative for Korea and will be standing alongside them.

This representative also said, “U-Know Yunho is a big fan of Michael Jackson. When Michael Jackson passed away, U-Know Yunho wrote ‘He was an inspiration’ on this blog. U-Know Yunho is a representative star of ASia, and he is a Michael Jackson fan so I think he will give a great performance.”

[News] DBSK/TVXQ/Tohoshinki’s Best Album Achieves #1 On Day Of Release

5-member Korean group Tohoshinki’s best album, 『BEST SELECTION 2010』, sold more than 228,000 copies on the day it was released and made it’s first entry as number 1 on the 16 February Daily Album Ranking.

This is the group’s first best album and includes 16 of their hit songs like 「呪文-MIROTIC-」,「Share The World」 and 「Purple Line」. There are 3 versions on sale; CD only, 2CD+DVD and CD+DVD.

Tohoshinki’s album 『The Secret Code』, released in March 2009, also made a record and their highest achievement was when they ranked as number 2 on the 6 April 2009 Weekly Album Ranking. This time, with such a good start, this album is drawing attention as it might achieve their first ever weekly number 1.

While CN Blue and SHINee’s managers are involved in assault cases, SS501 leader Kim HyunJoong’s comments not long ago became a talking point once again.

Kim HyunJoong appeared in a program not long ago and said “To be able to protect the fans and artistes, it is good if we can engage bodyguards.”

Kim HyunJoong made this comment on the inextricable relationship between fans and artistes, and said that it will not be beneficial to the artistes if the managers were to become violent with the fans under the excuse of protecting the artistes.

SM boyband SHINee and Cube girlgroup 4minute both recently participated in a photoshoot for Korea?s InStyle Magazine. The title of the photoshoot was ?Help for Haiti?, so one can assume that it was for a charitable cost. Both groups have also done charity work in the past.

[video] Amerie Featuring 4minute and BEAST "hear em all" released

Amerie which is a half korean (since her mother is korean) singer who debuted in the states, released her remixed version of "heard em all" featuring 4minute and BEAST.

Although some fans expected 4minute and BEAST to be singing/rapping in english, they were disappointed, since they rapped/sung in korean with amerie singing in english.

The song is okay and it looks like it is meant for korean listeners. The original song was with Lil Wayne.

[news] Big Bang's "GARA GARA GO!!" MV nominated as BEST Choreography MV of 2009!

Space Shower Music Video Awards held by Space Shower TV will be held again this year. Like last year, the emphasis of the MVAs will be done through the internet and connected booklets. 70 productions have been nominated in 14 categories from the music videos released in 2009, with each category containing an award, such as the “BEST YOUR CHOICE,” which is selected through viewer polling; “BEST VIDEO OF THE YEAR,” which is chosen from all of the videos combined; and the “BEST ARTIST” award, which is chosen from the artist who produced the year’s most outstanding music video.

Beginning February 14th, the nominees will be announced through Space Shower’s “MVA Nomination” program. All awards and winners will be announced in a special program airing March 22nd.

Big Bang’s Japanese hit “Gara Gara GO!” has been nominated as the ‘Best Choreography Video’ along with 5 other Japanese artists such as BoA, RIP SLYME, Ikimono Gakari and Miura Daichi. The choreography for Big Bang’s “Gara Garo GO!” was made by Shaun Evaristo and Taeyang.

[news] Big Bang featured in TIME Magazine

For the past 20 years or more, Japan has successfully sold its superinfectious brand of pop music in other Asian markets. Now the South Koreans want to follow suit. The vocalist Rain - among the TIME 100 in 2006 - remains the international face of K-pop, but a host of other artists are eager to follow in his wake. Their appeal to Western audiences remains niche - Rain himself has struggled to make an impression in the U.S., despite a ton of MTV appearances and onstage backup from the likes of Omarion and Diddy. That leaves Japan as the prime foreign market for the talented, preening young acts that South Korea produces by the score.

The most promising of these is Big Bang, a domestically successful five-man hip-hop group formed through a Making the Band – style reality show in 2006. A Japanese-language mini-album (With U) enjoyed some success in 2008. Big Bang now hope their debut full-length Japanese-language release - having entered Japan’s charts at No. 3 - will deliver the coup de grace. The good looks of the creators certainly won’t harm the disc’s chances.

A self-titled affair, Bigbang serves up fresh tracks and reworkings of the group’s old Korean singles. The tasty production, dance-pop beats, fluid raps and great vocal harmonies comprise an expertly fashioned example of globalized R&B. Tracks like “My Heaven” (a collaboration with top Japanese DJ Daishi Dance) and “Love Club” have plenty of dance-floor appeal. As for swoon factor, well, their track “Let Me Hear Your Voice” has been selected as the theme for the new Tokyo Broadcasting System romantic comedy Ohitorisama. If your work is popping up on Friday-night prime-time drama, total domination can’t be that far behind.

[news] FT Island take showers together and Hongki has "girlfriends"

FT Island had their first visit to Hong Kong on the 16th. Hundreds of fans have even waited the night before at the airport, eager to catch a glimpse their idols. The five boys’ arrival caused great uproar and excitement, but the boys exhibited their friendliness and manners by waving to the fans before exiting the airport.

FT Island held a fan meeting and over 200 fans gathered at the scene. They held a draw and the lucky winners were allowed to ask them questions. One fan shyly asked if she could hug them, and she successfully hugged Lee JaeJin.

2AM's members JoKwon and Jinwoon, who were chosen for the MC group 'MCD GUYZ' for the Cable TV Mnet music program 'Countdown,' revealed the main cuts for the photos taken in early February for 'Singles' magazine.

The revealed magazine photos give off a different feel as Jinwoon has a casual and chic facial expression. Jinwoon, who is wearing a dandy suit attire, attracts attention by looking different from his usual boy-like image.

Jinwoon got rid of his eye smile and showed strong facial expressions, but showed his usual big-hearted self at the photoshoot creating a fun environment.
