Through released pictures, it has been known that 4minute became the new model for ice-cream brand, Metacone. And we know 4minute girls love icecreams right ?

It could only have been a regular endorsement with several advertisting pictures and eventually a CF, but Metacone scheduled several special events and prepared exclusive 4minute material !

Last year, girl group Kara who endorsed Metacone back then was involved in MTV Kara’s Metafriends : a show in which the girls dated several people and picked out their yo dayum lucky best friend. The show was indeed a success judging by the audience ratings for a cable channel. 4minute is likely to do the same this year !

It was also revealed that 4minute will hold a special mini concert and an online chatting ? signing event, sponsored by the brand. Funny videos and online games will be released on the Metacone official homepage and lucky fans may even get a personal gift from the girls !

This is just the beginning as way more surprises and events will be revealed in the upcoming times. The endorsing, with the changing of Metacone’s official homepage, will begin in the middle of April.

The Japanese audience will get to know more about the girls than through a mini concert in the SHIBUYA-AX and a ‘Konnichiwa 4minute desu’.

While waiting the beginning of their promotions on May 1st, several Japanese magazines will - or have already done so - release interviews and, in some cases, pictorials shot for the occasion. Here goes the current list :

Besides, the Japanese branch of Korean cable channel Mnet will air several footages of the girls. Between March 16th and March 30th, a special corner will be dedicated to 4minute via the show Mnet「k-girl project」. The broadcasting date and hour are yet to be revealed. Moreover, an episode of another upcoming show, NO CUT STORY 2, will feature the girls in a more intimate way ; the airing is set for April 21st.

With such bombing featuring on both paper and screen, it looks as if the girls are currently active in Japan and that their promotions have already started. Their Japanese promotions in May will actually end their busy Asian touring which looks, for the moment - and till the end I hope -, successful.

Remember that you can already preorder aor two or sseuri and why not poh ! version of the Japanese single ‘Muzik’ which release is set for May 5th.

Lately, popstar Amerie's Korean venue on March 22nd and her collaboration with 4minute became hot topics.

Starting from the 22, Amerie will stay for 4 nights and 5 days to promote her latest album 'In Love & War'. Her schedule includes appearances on broadcast channels and fanmeetings.
On the 25th, the MBC radio show Bae Cheolsu's Music Camp will cover her mini-concert and her fanmeeting held in Mnet Sangamdong Studio.

[NEWS] 4Minute High Kicks Through the Roof!

It's been a while since 4Minute's last TV drama appearance (yes, they've debuted on the small screen already). However, on the 12th of this month, we will get to see our girls again (minus HyunAh) this time on the popular show High Kick Through the Roof. The show, which also features BEAST's AJ Lee Ki Kwang, is known to have many popular celebrities making cameos, and 4Minute will be the latest to do so.

Jeon JiYoon, Heo GaYoon, Nam JiHyun and Kwon SoHyun will be acting as part of the girl group Skinny Skini together with actress Yoo In Na. The girls will appear in scenes for the press conference and present a performance as Skini.

In real life, 4Minute always receives a lot of love during their live performances, with fans chanting their names and singing along to their songs. However, in HKTTR's penultimate episode, the audience isn't too fond of Skini and their to the group reaction was almost nonexistent.

According to our girls, "This was such a fun experience. We watch this program all the time so it’s so nice to be on it. If we have the chance, we’d do it again.”

The sitcom will air its 126th and last episode on the 19th, while the episode featuring 4Minute will be shown on the 12th.

After a round of promotions in Asia, it seems like 4Minute will revisit some places.

The girls will go to Japan again for their debut and Japanese single promotion in May. During a radio show in Japan, it was announced that 4Minute will have their official debut there on the 1st of May. As you all probably know, there will be 4 different versions of Muzik single scheduled to be released on the 5th of the same month. However, details of which will be kept secret for the time being.

[News] 4Minute will be releasing their Japanese version single of Muzik

As we all know, 4Minute is promoting their 'For Muzik' album in Japan from 4th to the 6th of March. Other than bringing a revolution to the J-Pop market it is also said that they may be creating a threat to the existing Japanese artists. This is not really hard to imagine as 4Minute can prove to be a strong competitor due to their excellent stage presence, style, and passion, which is evident from their infamous definition of their group name (4Minute) -grabbing your attention in 4 minutes AND doing their best every minute on stage.

[News] 4minute's Japan showcase, more than 2,500 enthusiastic fans

4minute successfully had their first showcase at 7 PM on March 5th at the AX Hall in Shibuya, Tokyo.

4minute had this showcase even though their album was not even released in Japan and more than 2,500 zealous fans came to support them.

On the 6th, a representative at CUBE Entertainment said, "We were grateful that the Japanese fans supported 4minute with courteous manners. The members were surprised when there were loud cheers for them while they were on stage."

4minute's popularity was confirmed at the surprise handshake event after the showcase. At the handshake event, there were fans of a various age group from young boys in their teens and male fans in their 40's. There were even reporters of different ages participating.

Meanwhile, 4minute went to Taiwan, the Philippines, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Japan for 50 days on their Asia tour.

4Minute arrived in Japan this morning, on the 4th of March, beginning their 3D2N promotional trip in Tokyo.

The information started to circulate earlier on Twitter, it seems that 4minute's first live event in Japan is planned for March 5th. What is surprising is that this event will take place in SHIBUYA-AX, a concert hall in Tokyo that usually hosts big events (Note : it can welcome 1,500 people).
The ticket sales already have started and they will end on March 2nd.

From the few Japanese blogs I've seen, the response to the girls' venue to Japan is quite positive. Let's hope that more of their plans in Japan will be unveiled soon. I'm eager to know how Cube Ent. will run this : if there will be outdoor showcases like in the previous countries and if the girls will attend music shows there. Even if on the face of it, the whole thing looks as if it was planned in the rush, Cube definitely goes for an higher level this time : the Japanese edition of 'For Muzik' (including - at least - a Japanese ver. of Muzik) is to be released soon and the company did go for the SHIBUYA-AX.
