‘Jaebum situation’ throws unexpected Fireballs, 2PM in danger

Ex-2PM member Jaebum (23)’s fans are shooting cannonballs at 2PM. Excluding Jaebum, the fans are releasing threatening photos of the 6 members personal lifes.

Why devoted 2PM fans have turned into antis.
It seems that the fans do not want to accept the fact that 2PM came to a consensus to agree to not have Jaebum return. ‘Oppas need to stay forever as one’ is the mind and feeling of girl fans when they admire a male idol group. “Jaebum is lacking as a 2PM member,” revealed by a member and ripped the last string of hope fans had.

‘2PM’ and ‘6PM’ are being compared. The before ‘beast idol’ has turned into ‘traitor idol’.
On portal site cafes, there has been a sudden increase of anti-2PM communities. There is a strong division amongst 2PM fans as Jaebum and 6PM fans.

The remaining members of 2PM are on the receiving end of much backlash. Revealing rumors and pictures of the members past is an obvious example. In the midst of this, a members particular religion became a problem and also revealed was a photo of underage drinking of one member.

There is even a 2PM boycott movement that is active. 2PM fans have clearly announced that they will boycott promotions of a 2PM without Jaebum. They also revealed that they will not purchase items that 2PM are currently endorsing.

On the 27th, at Seoul MoonJungDong Garden Five, the conference that was held with the remaining 6 members of 2PM and the fans was bitter. Fans in attendance criticized 2PM for their rude and disrespectful behavior. The fans actions were fully of sneering and cynicism.

The ‘2PM Boycott’ movement was created after Jaebum left the group due to controversies regarding remarks on Korea. But JYP Entertainment is aimed at with blackmail weapons. Now they will really pull the trigger.

[NEWS] KARA’s dads pick members from Super Junior, SS501, and SHINee as son-in-laws!

KARA’s Han Seungyeon and Kang Jiyoung’s fathers knew the names of most girl group members, befitting of their roles as the parents of girl group members and showing their new generation mindset. Also when they were asked if there was someone among the male idols whom they would like as a son-in-law they answered without hesitation, as though they already had chosen such an idol a long time ago.

Kara’s Han Seungyeon’s father picked SHINee’s Onew as his son-in-law. Kang Jiyoung’s father revealed, “I would like someone good-looking such as SS501’s Kim Hyun Joong or Super Junior’s Choi Siwon.“

Han Seungyeon’s father said “I have set my own plans, so I will not marry off my daughter until that point comes,” causing Han Seungyeon to feel taken back. Han Seungyeon said, “I want to get married when I’m at my prettiest stage” and voiced her wish to get married soon.

[NEWS] H&M opening of flagship store in South Korea, Seoul, Myeong-dong!

High-street brand H&M (Hennes & Mauritz Ltd.), finally stepped foot in South Korea, Seoul, and open its first flagship store in Myeong-dong's Noon Square where many similar popular high-street stores, such as SPAO, Zara, Forever 21, Mango and Uniqlo, are already established in the same area. H&M operates more than 2,000 stores in some 35 countries, with their more than 100 designers providing fresh designs everyday.

The Myeong-dong H&M store is now selling its Sonia Rykiel pour H&M collection, where the acclaimed French knitwear designer presented her usual colorful and striped knitwear lines, alongside its original spring collections.

Korean Celebrities like Cha Ye Ryun (차예련), Min Hyo Rin (정은란), Bada, Heo Yi Jae (허이재), Hong Su Ah (홍수아), Ji Jin Hee (지진희), Park Han Byul (박한별), Jung Gyu Woon (정겨운), Kim Na Young (김나영), Jung Hye Young (정혜영) and Jinusean as well as model Han Hye Jin attended the opening of the flagship store. ‘Even the conference is useless’ Jaebum controversy ‘JYP-Fandom Parallel Race’

After the conference, JYP and fans have gone in two completely different directions. A reconciliation or resolution between the two sides looks ambiguous.

After the announcement of the termination of Jaebum’s contract, attention in the entertainment industry was flooded toward the conference held on the 27th between 2PM members and JYP representatives and fans ended only where both sides revealed their stances. Although many had hoped for a good conclusion where both sides understood each other, both JYP reps and fans alike were left in disappointment.

Already, this situation has caused some 2PM fans to leave the fandom. As the days passes, the number of fans in the fan club are decreasing. Few fans here and there are protesting the 6 members of 2PM and have turned into ‘anti’ fans. In a situation where everyone is a victim, the situation is just spreading into a worse situation.
After the conference a representative of JYP said, “2PM members and Jung Wook representative were present for 4 hours as the conference progressed and tried their best to answer all questions.” Also he revealed, “On the receiving end of the news, we don’t know how fans are going to take this.”

However, fans’ positions are the complete opposite. Some fans raised her voice and said, “JYP and the 6 members are all fake.” JYP representatives only answered questions one-sidely was also a complaint expressed.

In the future, JYPE and fans parallels will continue. Some even worry that 2PM and the fandom will disassemble. In addition to this, the April album release may be a difficult possibility to come by if this continues. In reality, Jaebum’s return is now impossible is what a majority of those affiliated with the industry claim. Many also think that it is unfortunate that 2PM will be trapped in a cloud of fog in the future due to this situation.

On another hand, present at the fan conference on the 27th was 2PM’s Fan Union and if we follow what the file recording states, when asked for the possibility of Jaebum Park’s return, JYP Entertainment and the 6 members revealed, “There is no possibility of a return to 2PM”.

Member Chansung explains, “If Jaebum can endure everything and returns to the entertainment industry, we will
cheer him on. But a return to 2PM will not be the case.”

Regarding the personal issue all members answered, “It was a situation that we could not possibly cover up for him” and Jung Wook agreed, “It was a situation where there was no choice but for the members to agree on his departure from the group. It seems that even if they didn’t all agree the result would’ve been the same.”

Also, in regards to the “serious personal problem”, they revealed that only the members and a few of the JYPE staff knew what it was. This ‘serious problem’ was one that they did not want to be revealed outside. Then a fan asked, “Then if it is revealed to the public, we can assume it was released by you?” Jung Wook answered, “We do not want this to be revealed, but even if it is not revealed by us and is leaked that we are not responsible for it.”

In addition he states, “JYPE has no responsibility to take care of our artists personal lives, so we think that Jaebum Park is solely responsible for his actions. So looking at this situation schematically, Park Jaebum is the offender and the 6 members of 2PM are the victims.”
