BEAST's Lee Kikwang revealed his sadness about the end of the MBC day by day sitcom 'High Kick Through the Roof' (known as 'Roof Kick') and his sorry heart towards his members.

Hwang Jungeum, Choi Daniel, Yoon Siyoon, and other stars who prepared the ending of 'Roof Kick' on the 19th were produced. Lee Kikwang was one of those few. [News] After Junhyung Now Kikwang's Nickname 'Chigol Kikwang is Sexy!'

Trending idol group, BEAST, wining victory after victory, is even garnering attention with their nicknames.

While Yong Junhyung was able to reach number one on various search sites with the nicknames ‘Sakbal Junhyung’ ‘Bbulmon Junhyung’ on the 11th, Lee Kikwang received attention with the nickname ‘Chigol Kikwang’ on the 12th.

Lee Kikwang was able to show off his sexiness at once with their 2nd album. During 1st album promotions, he showed off his muscles, making fans lose their breath. Netizens were able to give Kikwang the nickname ‘Chigol Kikwang’ because of his dizzying new image that is 180 degrees different from his innocent image from MBC’s sitcom ‘High Kick Through the Roof’.

A company worker said, “For his cute face, he has really firm muscles and a sexy figure. Meanwhile BEAST sold over 20,000 copies only 10 days after returning with their new album, surprising many.

Their company on March 10 said, “The 2nd album reached number one on pre-orders. The public bought all 20 thousand copies, so we’re planning on printing another 20 thousand.”

Not only BEAST’s title song ‘Shock’ but other songs from their album like ‘Special’ have been receiving praise for their quality.

BEAST made a record selling 40,000 copies of their first album, and at this rate, they can easily break that record with their second album. It seems like music listeners are giving their attention to every move that BEAST makes.

[NEWS] Gikwang feels sad about the end of 'High Kick'!

Lee Kikwang of 6-member idol group BEAST revealed his sadness regarding the end of MBC daily sitcom 'High Kick Through the Roof.'

'High Kick Through the Roof,' which Lee Kikwang acted in, will have its last episode on March 19. This marks the end of the sitcom's 6 month long run.

'High Kick Through the Roof' gained popularity with its interesting characters and random storyline. Lee Kikwang played a high school student who likes Hwang Jungeum and made viewers laugh. 'High Kick Through the Roof' made Lee Kikwang more recognizable, so he has a special attachment to the show.

On March 10, Lee Kikwang and fellow BEAST members had an interview with Money Today Star News, and he revealed his feelings about the upcoming end of 'High Kick Through the Roof.'

Lee Kikwang laughed as he said, "Through 'High Kick,' my debut work, I learned a lot about acting. In particular, I learned a lot on set from the sunbaes* and staff, and I feel like their advice will continue to help me as I continue to act."

He added, "March 18 is the last day of filming for 'High Kick,' and I feel sad that I will have to part with (Yoon) Shiyoon hyung, (Choi) Daniel hyung, and others. Even after 'High Kick' ends, I will always remember how thankful I am towards these people."

Meanwhile, Lee Kikwang and his group BEAST revealed their new mini album on March 4 and are currently gaining popularity with their title track 'SHOCK.'

[News] 4 BEAST members enter DongShin University on March 2

4 members of 6-member idol group BEAST are becoming new students at the same university.

According to BEAST's company CUBE Entertainment, Lee Kikwang and Yoon Doojoon will be entering DongShin University on March 2 and majoring in broadcast entertainment. Fellow members Jang Hyunseung and Yong Junhyung will also begin attending DongShin University as freshmen* on the same day, majoring in applied music.

BEAST's representative said, "They picked their majors according to their individual interests. At the thought of attending the same school together, all 4 members are excited."

Meanwhile, BEAST revealed on March 1 their mini 2nd album 'SHOCK OF THE NEW ERA' with their new title song 'SHOCK.'

Q : Inside BEAST, who dances the best ?
A : Lee Kikwang (Other than Kikwang himself who chose Hyun Seung, every other members chose him).
Reason : Yoseob said, "Kikwang has a lot of passion for dance, what's more that, when he doing activities as "AJ", he was also using dance as his main form of performance. But our Hyun Seung also dances very well okay!"

Q : Who has the nicest body in BEAST ?
A : Lee Kikwang (Other than Kikwang himself, everybody chose him.)
Reason : Doo Joon said "The last time when we performed, he pulls a bit of his shirt to show his body, the fans just kept screaming" Jun Hyung said, "Kikwang is very focus into exercising to build up his body, therefore his body was the most fittest."

A : Doo Joon (even Doo Joon chose himself too)
Reason : Yes, it's me. I'm in charge of the online world in BEAST! Not only am I responsible for activities with B2uties, I'm also concerned for the members articles. A : Yoseob (All members agreed and even Yoseob posed a 'ya' handsign)
Reason : Yoseob: "I have to explain this very carefully. I'm actually not that cute, but after knowing the members, I feel like I'm being trained by the members to be a cute guy now. All thanks to them, my cuteness is getting so good now!" Under the request of Trendy, Yoseob was being asked to demonstrate on how to be cute. Yoseob with his very cute look and angelic voice , he said: "Hello everybody, I'm Yoseob". Maybe due to the extreme marshy-ness, the members of BEAST all laughed and wanted to walk away, and even the Trendy interviewer was laughing til they wanted to fall off. 

Q : Whose the most lazy in the bed til they don't want to wake up ?
A : Kikwang (Other than Hyun Seung, everyone else chose Kikwang)
Reason : After seeing the rest of the members choosing Kikwang, he immediately changes his answer: "Since everybody chose Kikwang, I have to follow the majority" and changes his option to Kikwang. Kikwang confesses embarrassingly, "It seems like... I don't have any excuses to deny anymore." In this apology, this game interview was ended in laughter.

Actively playing the role of Saeho from 'High Kick Through the Roof,' BEAST's Lee Kikwang and TV actor Lee Kwangki's peculiar connection is the topic of conversation.

[NEWS] BEAST's Gi Kwang shows off Chocolate ABS on High Kick Through the Roof'!

Singer and actor Lee Gikwang captured viewers' attention through revealing his luxurious figure on 'High Kick Through the Roof.'

On February 8th's broadcast of MBC 'High Kick Through the Roof,' Seho (Lee Gikwang) has been shown struggling to draw a manly appearance to charm Jungeum, who acknowleges him as a persistant, crazy man.

Seho first appeared before Jungeum in a suit in attempt to show a more adult demeanor. However, Jungeum rejects him with a nonchalant reply, causing lots of laughter. Going back to the vain effort to appear mature, Seho calls for the gym and shows a manly appearance through his muscles to attact Jungeum. But again, Jungeum responds with another cold remark.

This is the first time I've left a post in a while ^^

Without even realizing it, 2010 has come, and we 6 members are living everyday with enthusiasm.
And BEAST recently had our first promotion.

As our kids did well in Taiwan, I lived well as Highkick's Saeho ^^
I believed that our kids would do well even without me ^^
Since they're really great punks ^^ keke

Regretfully, for this opportunity, I was not able to go to Taiwan, but I will make sure that I will be able to go next time,
so Taiwanese fans, please don't feel too sad ^^ I will make sure to have another chance to meet you all ^^


Anyways, for the first time in a long time, for the first time in 3 nights and 4 days, we 6 members gathered together ^^
As if we were never separated, we are practicing passionately and slowly improving.
So that we 6 members can become one and show everyone
a cooler and improved side of ourselves, we are working hard ^^

With BEAST currently gaining a lot of popularity, it's hard NOT to notice a bromance forming between members Doojoon and Yo Seob.

I'm sure fangirls (and perhaps some fanboys) have been pretty sad lately that their hasn't been many bromances forming or just not getting to see bromances in general. However, newcomers BEAST will give those fans what they want.

BEAST's leader Doojoon and main vocalist Yo Seob have been seen getting rather...close with the past few performances of "Bad Girl" as well as off camera with behind the scene footage from the "Bad Girl" MV shoot. I think it's rather cute that Fake T.O.P. Doojoon and the little blonde boy Yo Seob have a bromance going on. They look like opposites, one with the sexy eyes, the other with a cute little boy look. However, you know there is love going on between them the moment you watch them together.

t's a good to see a new bromance blooming in the KPOP world since girl groups have dominated the past couple of months. However, they will never be able to live up to the best bromance ever, Jaebum and Taecyeon of 2PM.

On the November 1st, BEAST's Yo Seob and Ki Kwang presented the Digital Music Charts on Inkigayo. Yo Seob's "lover" was not there and it was evident that he wanted nobody, nobody but Doojoon. When Ki Kwang announced T-Ara and Supernova's "TTL Listen 2", Ki Kwang whips out the aeygo with the same pink bow that Yo Seob wore last week with Doojoon. However, Yo Seob flat out REJECTS Ki Kwang and goes on to state that he misses Doojoon. GASP! Drama drama!!
