Termination lawsuit still on-going, new company still not confirmed
December last year, Han Geng sent request to the court for his contract with SM Entertainment to be terminated. The hearing of this case started on the 1st of January, arbitration was carried out on 9th of March, but still there is no outcome. However, Han Geng appeared in Sohu , thus the media and many fans suspected that the lawsuit had ended. If not, Han Geng would not have accepted an interview. For this, Mr Sun indicates that everything about the lawsuit were handed to the lawyer to handle, he himself does not know the outcome yet as well.
As for the new company Han Geng will be joining after the termination case ended, ‘EE-Media’, ‘Taihe Rye Music Co. Ltd’, ‘Universal’ and other well known music label were thrown into suspicion.
Han Geng had personally denied that he joined ‘EE-Media’, Mr Sun also expressed that many companies contacted him but nothing is confirmed yet. As for the news of Han Geng joining a China boy band, ‘SD5’, Mr Sun find this piece of news ridiculous. He also found out only after surfing the internet, Han Geng did not mention anything of such to him as well.

Hangeng, the leader of the hugely popular boy group, Super Junior-M (SJ-M) and member of Korean group Super Junior, is currently in a lawsuit to end his contract with his management company, SM.

Many rumors regarding Hangeng’s next move have surfaced. Rednet, Sina, and other media recently reported that an online blogger revealed that Hangeng had already signed on with eeMedia to form a new idol group called, “SD5 Xing Tang” (SD5行堂). However, both parties have denied such news right after, which indicates that the SD5 Xing Tang rumor was most likely a marketing ploy.  Furthermore, Hangeng worries that such rumors would affect him negatively regarding the lawsuit. Insider news revealed that Hangeng will actually become the next spokesperson for Hunan TV’s Superboy. The production team indicated that they have contacted Hangeng and commented, “Compared to 2007’s spokesperson, Li Yun Di, Hangeng’s image feels even friendlier and closer to the audience. Thus, he is very likely to become the spokesperson. (I) Hope we can work together this time.” As for the spokesperson price, the production team said, “It’s definitely with a ‘friends’ discount.”

After Hunan got the approval for Superboy, they announced that they will be scouting talents from abroad as well. On March 16, Hunan’s representative, Li Hao expressed that the details for the show is still in discussion and a press conference will be held at the end of the month to announce the outcome. The team’s main goal is to “strive for creativity and breakthroughs.”

With all this being said, nothing has been confirmed from Hangeng's end.

MC: what did you do in 2 months?
HG: Now during this time because of all the events going on I wanted rest, exercised, performance, and study english?

About the singing portion, because on the stage - because normally since 13 I started learning dance on the stage little by little I don't want to throw [this knowledge] away. I still want to continue being on a stage.
MC: Well then let's wish HG's dream to come true. One person's strength can be limiting perhaps behind you you'll need a group to help support you. If you manage to gain your freedom, would you find a new managing group? or a new [performance] group? Or will you start your own company? Have you thought about these aspects?
HG: Right now, I still don't have these plans. But if I do have an oppurtunity like this I would like to work with a very good/excellent company going in the same direction. Therefore if we'll match each other and it'll be good both for the company and me. Hopefully there will be a good company I can work with.

Part IV.

In part 4, they talk about some sort of tv competition which targets contestants from a special Arts School. He talks about the competitors having some sort of advantage because they have already received trainging. They talk about a group called M.I.C that is currently competing, and Hangeng talks about how the members all have their own unique qualities and that he hopes that the path they're on will get better and better.

Part V.

In the 5th part, the host asks him hypothetically if he's in a new company and the company already has a well-known group, would Hangeng consider joining the group? Hangeng says something about liking to work with different types of people, and that he can learn a lot from others. The host asks Hangeng if he feels lonely talking to the host by himself, Hangeng says he does miss them, and he says that no matter if it's him or his friends, he hopes their lives will get better and better. The host asks him if he is prepared to face the world by himself, and Hangeng replies that he will try hard. Hangeng thanks everyone for watching him, and not giving up on him. Hangeng also says he will work hard to create the best product for everyone, and that he hopes that everyone will move forward with him.

When I saw Han Geng, both of us embraced in a big hug, during this sensitive time when his contract lawsuit has still not been settled, we both were appreciative of each other’s understanding. [News] SJ named as Taiwan’s Tourism Ambassadors, Hankyung to be absent from Taiwan’s concert

The South Korean idol group Super Junior, who brought “Sorry Sorry” to being one of the more known songs in Taiwan, will be having their final stop* for their Asia Tour in Taipei from today for the next 2 days, making it the first concert to be held in Taiwan’s Super Dome in the year of the Tiger. It has also been said that Super Junior will become Taiwan’s tourism ambassador, showing the amount of power this “Korean wave” possesses.

Super Junior’s first concert in Taiwan is really something, with concert tickets being snapped up at a very fast rate. Moreover, this stop happens to be on the Chinese New Year, and members have already known more about the customs from their Chinese member Hangeng, making them look forward to the celebrations of the Lunar New Year.

However, fans were disappointed to know that, according to the organizers, Super Junior’s first “Super Show 2” in Taiwan will only present 10 members, as Hangeng, Kangin and Kibum will be absent, when news of this was release, fans wrote on the PPT website that they wanted to cry, saying that Hangeng’s promise to celebrate the New Year with them wouldn’t be fulfilled.

Since these 3 members have been absent since the Beijing’s concert, fans were rather prepared. However, it is a different story on the web. On Hankyung's 2010 birthday (February 9th) which is approaching soon, Hankyung's fans used the "Let Love Fly" charitable activities event as the perfect birthday gift to their idol. Korea’s popular group Super Junior’s (abbreviated as SJ) Chinese member Hankyung has officially filed a litigation at the Seoul District Court yesterday* to declare his exclusive contract with SM Entertainment as void. [News] SJ 2nd Asia Tour to end in Shanghai, Hankyung still not present

On the 6th and 7th of March, Korea group Super Junior will be holding their last 2nd Asia Tour concert in Shanghai* .HanGeng, who was not present in last week’s concert in Beijing due to contract issues, it waits to be seen if HanGeng will be present to bid his fans goodbye.

What we know from the organizers is that while they have gotten all of the remaining SJ members to participate in the concert, they have also remain in contact with SM, and hope that HanGeng would put aside the contract issues and join in this concert. However, the organizer said that although it would be highly impossible that it would happen, in the opening sales alone, the tickets have been
70% sold, surpassing their expectations.

The contract issues brought many problems to Super Junior, but it didn’t stop them from achieving recognition for their hard work. The organizers also said that they have also personally contacted HanGeng, and hope that he would be able to turn up for this concert, giving all those present a pleasant surprise.

HanGeng’s contract issues also had some negative impact towards the 2nd Asia Tour. On the January 10 and 23 concert in Guangzhou and Shanghai respectively, many of HanGeng’s fans requested a refund for their ticket. The reporter asked if they are worried if such a situation would happen, and they responded that this concert has already sold up to 70% of the tickets, leaving only about 2000 tickets left, making it one of the fastest numbers of tickets sold. In addition, most of the concert-goers would definitely be those who already saw the Nanjing concert, and are just back to watch it again. Therefore, the time, which was allocated by both the fans and organizers, is such that the 6th March concert will be held in the evening, while the 7th March concert at 3:30pm, for convenient sake, so that when the concert is over, fans can then catch a plane or a train ride home.
