[News] 4Minute is interested in Taiwanese guys and bubble tea

4Minute has been so busy these days running here and there for their fully packed schedule in Taiwan, that they only had the time to chew on sandwiches, but fret not, as HyunAh said they are already full seeing their fans. Though their meals are mainly comprised of sandwiches, the girls did get a chance to taste famous Taiwan delicacies. JiYoon mentioned in both 'Entertainment E Generation*' and the press conference for their concert on the 22nd of January that they love the Taiwanese bubble tea. She even said "Tasty" in Mandarin.

When 4Minute and BEAST had their interview on 'MTV JK-Pop craze' separately, the host took out many photos of Taiwanese male stars and asked both groups to choose the ones they like. Coincidentally, both groups chose Jay Chou (周杰伦). 4Minute also recognized Show Luo (羅志祥), F4, and pointed at Zhao You Ting (趙又廷)'s photo, saying he looks like a Korean. 4Minute HyunA gives a shocking revelation, “I lost 17kg because of Shin JungHwan.”

HyunA was on the last episode of KBS 2TV ‘SangSang Plus Season 2′ set to air on 19th January when she said that. And her revelation came as shocking as the singer has been gaining much popularity with her solo single release and trending hot pelvic dance.

HyunA said on the show, “For my body now, I lost 17kg.”

Known to love dancing since young, HyunA revealed that she has lost 17kg as compared to when she was in primary school.

[News] 4minute and 2PM win the Beautiful Brand Federation Rookie Award and Popular Artist Award at the 2010 Asia Model Festival Award

The 15th will be a day to remember for 2PM. 

At 7 PM, the 5th '2010 Asia Model Awards' was held in Seoul at olympic hall. That day, 2PM, along with Kim Taewoo and 4 Minute won the BBF Popular Artist award. They had stood on not as singers but as models. 

Afterwards, their congratulatory performance was with 2PM's unique acrobatic skills, capturing the audience. 

Fans flocked to the red carpet event and gave birthday messages for 2PM's Junsu's birthday. Junsu replied with a smile in front of the photo wall. On top of this, Junsu had already been topping the search ranking charts with his 'Kim Bo Peep' incident. The 15th should definitely be a special day to remember for 2PM.

The 4minute girls adds another award to their growing list of achievements as they were recently awarded the BBF (Beautiful Brand Federation) Rookie Award in the 2010 Asia Model Festival Awards.

The award show’s theme was “Asia is One / Asia One” (Models and artists which represent each Asian nation) organized by the South Korea Cultural Exchange Foundation and Korea Model Association, Sports and Tourism and sponsored by Korea Culture and Content Agency. The award show took place tonight (January 15) at the Olympic Hall at Olympic Park in Songpa-gu Seoul.

Aside from bagging the award the girls also performed their hit song ‘Muzik’ during the event.

Last January 6, G7 members for the KBS 2TV show “Invincible Youth” went to Kangwon province along with military servicemen to help remove the heavy snow.

Kpop is already spreading the love in the Philippines as 3 good news came out today!

It's already confirmed that Super Show 2 of Super Junior is true and will be held on April in Araneta Coliseum(Big Dome). Watch out ELFs!

[News]HyunAh's Change Is Not Suitable For Viewers Under 19

One of Korea’s three public broadcasting company KBS has announced that 4Minute Hyun-Ah’s first solo song Change will be not viewable for people under 19. This means the song cannot be played in any form or shape before 10PM. The focal point of Hyun-Ah’s new song was her waist-shaking dance moves. However, KBS determined that her waist-shaking dance moves can be seen too sexy for minors if it is looked at different perspective.

Other Korean broadcasting companies were more lenient with their decision. MBC rated it as viewable for everyone and SBS made it not viewable for under 15. Hyun-Ah’s management company is currently debating whether to apply for resubmission to KBS after editing out the controversial scenes.

I personally thought that it isn’t that sexy to be rated R. Some are saying that it is part of Hyun-Ah’s marketing.

After receiving much love from their Korean fans, girl group 4minute and boy group BEAST are going to meet their overseas fans as they are scheduled to visit Taiwan and perform for their fans in Taipei International Convention Centre (TICC) on Jan 23rd,2010!

In this event, 4minute will perform their hits as well as introducing “For Muzik” special package album released in Taiwan. And, a day before this event, on Jan 22nd evening, these 2 groups will hold another event called ” Follow the dance of 4minute & Beast” and have fun with their Taiwan fans.

Previously reported that their company Play Cube Ent. and Universal Music Group (UMG) signed a Partnership agreement confirming their cooperation to hand in hand promoting Beast and 4minute [link]. And, the released of 4minute’s “For Muzik” special package album in Taiwan is also a start of the 8 Asia Countries promotion plan. KKBOX collates results from album sales, streaming ranking etc. And this is great results delivered by 4Minute given that they did not do any promotions in Taiwan for the album.

In addition, this brings great excitement for the group as they have surpassed other Korean idol groups like Super Junior and So Nyeo Shi Dae on the chart.

In addition, all the songs in the album is moving up fast on the daily single ranking and the album is in the top 10 rankings on site ezPeer+ daily single ranking.

[News]4Minute Is Ready To Take Over Asia

4minute is scheduled to hit the Philippines, Taiwan, Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong and several other Asian countries, as well as release their debut album in 8 separate countries this new year.

After meeting with one of the biggest companies in the world, Universal Music group, it's now been announced 4minute is ready to take over Asia. The five girls will be touring the Asian countries until the end of February along with releasing their debut album, For Muzik, all over Asia.

4minute will also be performing in Taiwan much like they did in Shanghai last year.

As of yet, only two different versions of For Muzik have been revealed - the Hong Kong version (which is re-named to Only For Muzik) and the Taiwan version (which is re-named to One and Only Muzik). Check out the photos below!

[News] 4Minute 'One and Only Muzik' album released

The 'For Muzik CD+DVD Asia Exclusive Luxury Package' has been released in Taiwan today. As reported earlier, there will be 19 behind the scene videos on the girls. Now the good news is that they will all be Chinese-subbed. Anyway, Here is a promotional poster of the girls' album. Direct translation of the album title(音樂唯一) would be 'One and Only Muzik' in this case. Let's hope it will be big in Taiwan.

Adding on to what has been mentioned before, 'For Muzik' is expected to be released in 8 Asian countries, including South East Asia and Japan. After their appearance in Shanghai last year, the girls are very excited to perform in a foreign country again, this time in Taiwan. Consequently, they hope to have their very own Asia Tour soon, in order to have some close interactions with their fans of different nationalities. 

As 4Minute want their fans to dance along to Muzik on the day of the concert, there will be a BEAST&4Minute dance contest. Participants are expected to dance to either group's famous hits, and upload the videos online. The winners would be personally chosen by the idols themselves.

Speaking of the Taiwan concert, Taiwan fans are really lucky this time round. There are lucky draws and many opportunities for the fans to get some exclusive 4Minute and BEAST goodies. Not only will posters and commemorative cards of limited edition be given out to lucky ones, there will also be a a chance for some to take photos with 4Minute or BEAST. Autographed albums and special CDs would also be available for grab. Sounds great, isn't? Looks like the only unfortunate thing is Ki Kwang's absence from the event due to clashes in schedule.
