Producer singer Park Jin Young sings praises of group Brown Eyed Girls.

Park Jin Young was on KBS Yoo HeeYeol’s Sketchbook aired on 8th January when he was asked by MC Yoo HeeYeol, “Is there any song released in 2009 that you are addicted to?” and Park Jin Young revealed ‘Abracadabra’ by the Brown Eyed Girls.

He said, “I like their dance and they are really good singers.” and he was asked if there are song he is envious of, and Park Jin Young answered, “Many”.

JYP said, “When I listened to Yoo HeeYeol’s ‘Warm Greetings’, I was shocked and I thought “He really did well”. I thought it is good that there is no interests in trend.” And Yoo HeeYeol joked, “Wow, so I should join JYP Ent too.”

[News]Brian Joo Is A Victim Of Racism?

Singer Brian Joo formerly of Fly to the Sky was a victim of racism which caused him to break up with his girlfriend. On the 8th broadcast of SBS' "Best Friend's Note," Brian confessed about his painful memories of love.

Brian talked about a relationship with a black girl in the States who resembled the looks of Halle Berry. They were able to date during school and a week later, started seeing each other outside in public.

However, that was the last day they got to date each other. When their date was over, he dropped her off at her house. Her mom saw that Brian was of Asian background and rudely asked "How will you be able to marry my daughter?" and kicked him out.

The next day, the girlfriend came and told Brian that "because of my mom, I don't think we can see each other." Brian said that was the most unfair way he ended a relationship.

[News]YG Will Start The Year Right And Strong

According to OSEN, YG will be starting the first half of the year strong by Gummy, TOP, Daesung & 2NE1's comeback.

It is reported that Gummy will be singing the OST for a drama and Taeyang will then be releasing his solo album.
Daesung will be releasing his solo album and solo activities will start late-january or early-february after Taeyang & Big Show Concert ends, it is said that he'll reveal two songs from his album during the concert and TOP will be releasing his solo album next and all solo activities will start mid-february or early march!

2NE1 will then be releasing their 1st album which many are waiting for. YG has mentioned that 2NE1's 1st album is the most anticipated one and also one of the biggest topic amongst netizens, fans and has been receiving more attention then all other YG artists mentioned above.

[News]Lee Min-Woo (M) of Shinhwa Will Stay More Longer In The Hospital

Shinhwa member, who is currently being hospitalized after a car accident on Christmas Eve, is likely to get his hospitalization period extended.

On Christmas Eve, Lee Minwoo’s car slipped on an icy road outside Yongpyeong Reosrt in Gangwon-do and he suffered injuries to his neck, back and spine, as well as a concussion. He was admitted into a hospital in Seoul on the 25th and is currently recuperating there.

A rep from Lee Minwoo’s management told Newsen on 5th Jan, “He’s still receiving treatment in the hospital, but it looks like he will be hospitalized for a longer period of time. Injuries take longer to heal since he’s older now. Initially we thought he would recover very soon, so we’re very concerned right now.”

Besides a concussion, Lee Minwoo sustained injuries to his neck, back and ankle. However, looking at the state of the wrecked car, it seems that he is considered lucky. The rep said, “When the police sent us the photos of the scene of the accident on the 4th, it looked absolutely dismal. Although he welcomed the new year in the hospital, it was really an escape from what could have been much worse.”

Meanwhile, Lee Minwoo’s concert ‘M’s Suite Room’, which was initially scheduled for 16 and 17 Jan at Ewha Woman’s University, has been cancelled due to his accident. However, Lee Minwoo may still consider proceeding with the concert after he has recovered from his injuries.
