[News] C.N Blue “First Album Release Live Encore Concert” tickets are sold out in Japan

Band C.N Blue will release their 1st Japanese album titled “Thank You” this coming March 20,2010 in Shibuya’s Club Quattro. The place will be open from 17.00 local time whilst the event will start from 18.00 local time. The album will cost the fans around 3000 yen (in tax) as their official Japanese site wrote.

C.N Blue company FNC Music,”The band will also throw an Encore concert on April 16 in one of the most popular live music locations in Japan-Tokyo Ebisu Liquid Room. And the whole 1000 tickets were sold out”, he said on March 12.

C.N Blue Live Encore concert is held under the title “CNBLUE 1st Album Release Live Encore ~Special Thanks~” and cost the fans 4500 yen to enter the event.

After recently went on debut with their album ‘Bluetory’ and busy with their domestic activities, now the C.N Blue members are busy preparing for their performance in Japan. C.N Blue was active in Japan since last year and has released 2 single albums in the country.

Meanwhile, after their Japan activity, C.N Blue will be back to the local music industry on April 2010.

From pre-debut, Dae Guk Nam Ah gained another name called, "The second TVXQ".

There are many similarities between these two groups. It is the five male group. Their debut average age was 17 years old which was the "youngest group" at the time of their debut. And both groups are formed into consideration to target overseas market. Therefore from the start, Dae Guk Nam made TVXQ as their "idol" and the "role model".

During their interview time, J said "All the members watched TVXQ growing up and had the dream to be a singer some day. TVXQ is more than the idol. They are way above an idol. We do not know how we could ever dance and sing like them. We may never overrun their abilities. Every time we see them, we realize it is way far-off goal for us to aim to be closer to TVXQ".

Ever since they started to be called "The second TVXQ", there were some anti talks telling them not to compare themselves with the Asia's best super star group.

But the members said that they appreciate such reaction from the people.

"It may be said that TVXQ is like a huge mountain which is impossible to climb. Our heart toward them is much more than the word "respect" could explain. And we still wish and aim to be the group like them", said HyonMin.

[News] Wonder Girls gear up for U.S. debut album release in April

Korean pop group Wonder Girls returned to the United States over the weekend to prepare for their debut album due out in the country in April, according to their agency JYP Entertainment (JYPE). 

An official at JYPE told Asia Economic Daily over a phone call yesterday that "Wonder Girls members left for the U.S. on March 13," adding that they will "focus on the release of their studio album which has been delayed."

"For the time being, they have no other work scheduled and are planning to concentrate on the album to release it by April or May at the latest," the official was quoted as saying. 

He further explained that the delay came due to the group's member replacement; original member Mimi left the group last month to continue her studies and JYP trainee Lim was brought in to fill her place. 

The quintet, including new member Lim, had flown into Korea earlier this month and last week attended a promotional tour in Singapore as the new face for global mobile phone brand Sony Ericsson in the Asia-Pacific region.

Wonder Girls -- originally composed of Sohee, Yubin, Sun, Yenny and Mimi -- debuted in Korea in 2007 and quickly became one of the most successful pop groups in the country with three consecutive No. 1 singles, "Tell Me", "So Hot", and "Nobody".

They made an impressive crossover to the United States last year when their U.S. debut single "Nobody" entered the Billboard Hot100 at No. 76, becoming the first Korean artists to be placed on the chart in its 115-year history.

[News] Lee Minho warns fans about fake Twitter account

Korean actor Lee Min-ho has warned fans of a fake Twitter account opened up under his name, according to his agency Starhaus Entertainment. 

"What people currently know as Lee Min-ho's Twitter is a fake account," said an official at Starhaus on Friday, adding that they are preparing countermeasures to protect the actor's fans.

Lee currently has about 70,000 followers under his account -- more than any other Korean celebrity in the country. 

An account can be opened with just an email address and ID on Twitter, a popular U.S.-based online social networking and microblogging service.

Many other overseas and Korean stars including pop groups Girls' Generation and singer Son Dambi have reportedly been taken advantage of by people who opened up accounts in their names. 

Lee, 22, shot to stardom throughout Asia after starring in the smash hit TV series "Boys Over Flowers" last year alongside actress Koo Hye-sun and idol group member Kim Hyun-joong of SS501. 

He is scheduled to appear in upcoming MBC TV series "Personal Taste", which premieres on March 31, opposite actress Son Ye-jin.

[News] Fans to release album for Park JaeBum on 200th day since he left Korea

Fans will produce an album for 2PM ex member JaeBum.

A cafe site was set up in January on a portal site in January named ‘Album for JaeBum’ and fans who had joined had gone through the process of making songs and recording to produce the album for JaeBum.

The recording was done on 27th February and coming 27th March, the album ‘With All My Heart’ will be released. The day will also be Park JaeBum’s 200th day since he left Korea.

There will be 3 songs included in the album like ‘To You’, ‘You are my heart’ and ‘A step at a time’. There will be 100 copies of the album sold.

Meanwhile, it was announced in late February by JYE Entertainment that JaeBum will leave the group permanently.

[News] SHINee Minho broke the legendary record in high jumping!

Despite a busy international schedule, SHINee Minho didn't neglect exercising.

In KBS 2TV "Dream Team 2" episode aired on March 14, SHINee Minho and Mighty Mouth Sangchu challenged the high jump record of 2m 25cm by Jo Sung Mo. The Dream Team project "A challenge to the legendary history of sport" began.

The two men began training with athletic coaches: Professor Yo Hongchul for Minho and Director Lee Juhyung for Sangchu with positions, strength and flexibility exercises.

With SHINee members, Minho had an extremely busy schedule overseas to Japan, Singapore, HK, to meet fans and perform. However, he didn't neglect excercising. Minho faithfully followed Professro Yo Hongchul advice to bring to toe plate around the world and practice all the time he could.

After returning to Korea, Minho spent long time practicing to confront the record challenge with a high spirit, together with Sangchul.

Finally, Minho broke the legendary record in high jumping, passed the 2m 40cm bar, although not exceeding 2m 45cm.

[News] After School Gahee’s appearance in Eun JiWon’s MV back in 2005

News have came late that After School leader GaHee used to appear in Eun JiWon’s MV ‘All Famy’.

It started with a netizen’s posting on a portal site recently with a post entitled ‘Park GaHee’s features during her dancer period’ and captures of Eun JiWon’s 4th album song ‘All Famy’ MV were attached.

In the MV, GaHee was seen in a red tee shirt and hot pants, and showing off her dancing skills.

[NEWS' Taeyeon To Have A Musical Debut! Casted For Main Female Role!

SNSD's Taeyeon has been selected as the main female role for the musical, "Song of the Sun".

Taeyeon has been casted for the female protagonist, Kaoru's role, for the "Song of the Sun" musical, which will open this May in Seoul Sejong Cultural Center's M Theater. This will be Taeyeon's debut in musicals.

On a side note, "Song of the Sun" illustrates the love story of a girl with a disease called xeroderma pigmentosum, which makes her unable to go out during the day, and a boy who always lives under the sun due to his love for surfing. Japanese novel with the same title is the original work of the story.

I hope that the Bumtists (Jaebum-hottests) know what our SNSD girls had to endure at the 2008 Dream Concert. Because of that controversy, our girls cried and have become very sensitive. We also have heard a lot of unspeakable things from other fandoms. Because of that controversy, we are quick to defend the girls.

However, we hope that the nice Bumtists fans will be able to understand if you were at all hurt by this situation. I know that our girls are so afraid because of the pain they received at the last concert.

Today, something similar happened. As an after account, Sooyoung wrote, "Please take all of these glow sticks when you leave today~^^" Although she wrote it as if she didn't care, we know that the girls are so very hurt by all of this. And we have also heard that our maknae was hit by a glow stick, although it is unconfirmed at this moment.
