[News] After School Gahee’s appearance in Eun JiWon’s MV back in 2005

News have came late that After School leader GaHee used to appear in Eun JiWon’s MV ‘All Famy’.

It started with a netizen’s posting on a portal site recently with a post entitled ‘Park GaHee’s features during her dancer period’ and captures of Eun JiWon’s 4th album song ‘All Famy’ MV were attached.

In the MV, GaHee was seen in a red tee shirt and hot pants, and showing off her dancing skills.

Netizens who watched the MV commented, “She danced really well since back then”, “Her body was so enviable since back then”, “She look pretty much the same” etc.

Park GaHee used to be in the group S Blush together with Son DamBi in the States. Back then, the group had gone up to the #1 spot on Hot Club Billboard chart. Also before her debut, she is known to be the back dancer for singers like BoA and Son DamBi.

[News] Brian Joo #1 on offline album chart, ahead of artistes like Super Junior, YounHa and Eun JiWon

Brian Joo’s new album ‘Manifold’ has taken the #1 spot on HanTeo album chart.

Brian has topped the realtime chart, beating out competition from other artistes like Super Junior, YounHa and Eun JiWon on the day of the album release on 10th December. And after just 11 days, he went up to #1 on the album chart.

Brian’s new album music is unique this time with the corporation of club tunes as compared to the usual popular ballad music.

Brian has personally went down to 6 music stores in Korea and signed albums for 1,000 over fans. There are also plans for Brian to head down to another 2 music stores for album signing.

Currently, the title song ‘My Girl’ is up top 10 on online music chart Bugs, #26 on Mnet, staying up strong on top 20 rankings.

[News] Eun Ji Won returns with ‘Platonic’

Interesting name for an album, don’t you think? The former Sechskies rapper makes his grand return to Kpop after a long four years and ten months hiatus, whew! With all of his stints on variety shows the past few years, I almost forgot that Eun Ji Won first won my young heart as the leader of his own idol group. Oh, how time flies.

While others sing about getting their hearts broken, this former idol will be making his comeback with his 5th album Platonic. Hmmm, I guess he just wants to be friends? The title track Siren is expected to be a hip-hop and electronic-dance fusion complete with a dreaded “point” dance that I’m curious to see at the very least. But I’m way more excited about who’s featured in his album, which includes Tiger JK, comedian Lee Soo Geun, and Mr. Typhoon. Eun Ji Won’s also been secretly filming his music video the past two days near Seoul, so get ready to watch out for that, too!

Aaah, nothing makes me happier than reminiscing about old school Kpop. With Brian Joo’s and Eun Ji Won’s comeback, let’s see if these guys can show today’s idols how it’s done. Or not. Either way I shall be cheering for them both as they face friendly competition. Platonic also drops December 10–what a coincidence.
