Make-up Artist Kim Yoo Sun has a unique love for wigs "I want to hear 'Your work for the musical Mozart! was good.'"
Musicals 'Phantom of the Opera', 'Empress Myeongseong', 'Hairspray' and 'Chicago'. What is the similarity between these unique musicals? Extravagance. And that extravagance existed because of make-up artist Kim Yoo Sun.
"I prefer musicals because they are more extravagant and larger in scale than plays," says Kim Yoo Sun and he has been put in charge of make-up for the musical [Mozart!] that is "a position any make-up artist would envy."
This was his first official interview so he was shy at first but he showed his unique love and pride for wigs throughout the interview. We met with the man who has lived since November buried in the 200 or so wigs that are to be used in Mozart!
"I fell in love with the music of Mozart!, and I'm confident." Although he has helped with musical productions for over 20 years, the scale of Mozart! is different from others as the 200 handmade wigs required for the production compare with the 100 imported wigs that needed repair in 'Phantom of the Opera' and the 80 handmade wigs in 'Hairspray'. His words are not exaggerations when he says, "Wigs account for 95% of the job," and that "This is the biggest amount of wigs I've worked with yet."
However, make-up artist Kim Yoo Sun accepted this job with more confidence than stress from responsibility. He, who grew up with music close to his side since he was young, expressed what his feelings were when he was given the job offer and said, "I heard Mozart's music, and I fell in love with the crossover of the genres of rock and classical," and "A job this big of a scale requiring over 200 wigs is a job any make-up artist would envy."
Modern Mozart make-up, it fits Park Gun Hyung and Kim Junsu well The entire cast must wear wigs, each role has at least three and as many as seven. Each wig was duplicated three times. It can be inferred that the wig production of Mozart! is at least two to three times bigger than past jobs. It takes around a week to make each wig, and there are around 20 designers employed for wigs. They began making wigs after the casting of the cast was finished in November.
Since the head block (shape of the head) is different for each person, each member of the cast requires his or her own wig. This applies especially for the four Mozarts (Lim Tae Gyung, Park Eun Tae, Park Gun Hyung and Kim Junsu).
Like his explanation that "Mozart is the center of the spotlight visually in this musical," Mozart enters the scene wearing jeans and sporting 'dreads'.
It would have been difficult to make a modern Mozart, but to him, who "Traveled to 30 countries for overseas shows and saw various cultures," the blending of modern and past was not very hard. He was able to add a modern twist for all of the cast instead of just focusing on Mozart.

Komai Chikako is an entertainment TV reporter who works for a YTV's program called Miyaneya, the one that Tohoshinki made an appearance on the day of Best Hits Song Festival. On 1/8, when Miyaneya was having a discussion about Tohoshinki's disbanding rumor on TV, Komai Chikako voiced out what she had seen at Kouhaku's backstage. "People have been saying that their dressing room was divided by a curtain, and that they came back to the dressing in 3-2 groups at Kouhaku rehearsal; but according to what I saw with my own eyes, there was no such thing as 3-2. They were together as 5 all the times; and even when they had to line up, they didn't split it into 3-2. The 3 who are in dispute with their company right now entered the space between the other 2, and they lined up as 5. The media has been reporting that Jaejoong had an expression that looked like he did not want to answer their questions, but at that time, he was wearing a hood over his head, so it was hard to see his expression..." UKiss youngest member DongHo’s recent official apology is said to have given netizens a good laugh.
DongHo did guest appearance on MBC FM ‘Park KyungLim’s Starry Night’ on 7th January together with MBLAQ and Taru. And on the radio show, he did a voice imitation of Yang HeeEun. Yang HeeEun is the narrator for ‘Invincible Baseball’ whichDongHo appears in.
And on 8th January, DongHo posted up an apology post on the program’s official homepage. He wrote, “I will not do the voice imitation of Yang HeeEun anymore. Because it was live broadcast, I made a mistake. Sorry.”

On KBS 2TV's Invincible Youth that is to air on the 8th, a compilation of deleted scenes will be revealed.

SNSD Yoona revealed, "My greatest goal in life is to get married and live while be loved like an average person."
When SNSD was participating during a recent filming of 'Girls On Top 2' on MTV, she revealed her views on marriage, her complex, and life style. Through this, she showed her future hopes and aspirations, wanting to be a lady and not a girl.
On the nickname "Nam Choding" (elementary school boy) she earned from netizens, she said, "Do I seem like an elementary school child that much? I want to be a lady," and she revealed the future marriage she had secretly hoped to have since childhood.
Yoona said, "I think that the Sean-Jung Hyeyoung couple is the most ideal couple to me," and, "My greatest goal and dream in life is to marry like them." She also added, "My ideal man is one that is gentle and attentive but looks very manly."
Although she is the ideal girl of many males for having perfect looks, she also has parts of her body that she doesn't want to show people. She said, "I don't like walking around bare-feet because I don't have girly feet that are small and pretty," and chose her feet as her complex.
Yoona also said, "I want to film a commercial for chocolate," and showed everyone a bit of acting that is only unique to Yoona. Also on 'Girls On Top 2", she talks about when she sent an odd video message to Jessica, tells how she personally overcame being a slump during her trainee days, shares her fashion items, and tells many other stories that have never been told elsewhere.
On another note, Yoona has been chosen as a new member of SBS 'Family Outing 2', and along with Yoon Sanghyun, 2PM's Taecyeon, Kim Wonhee, and others, they are to take on the number 1 Sunday variety show.
The episode of MTV's 'Girls On Top 2', where Yoona expresses her wish to be a lady and not a girl with a pure look in her eyes and tells her honest stories, will air in two parts at 10:00 p.m. on January 8th and 16th.
By the way, Sean is from the old rapping duo, 'Jinusean', who were very popular about 10 years ago. His wife, Jung Hyeyoung, is an actress.

Beastly idols 2PM on MBC's ?!
On the recording to air on the 10th at MBC's , Lee Jaehyung, Oh Jungtae, Son Heonsu, Kim Kyungjin and other gagmen transformed into 2PM for a surprise 'Heartbeat' parody performance.
WIth 2PM's powerful zombie and dance singing, they received a round of applause from the audience. They wore 2PM's personal outfits along with the smokey makeup look, recreating 2PM's exact image, although a bit lacking compared to the original, making the production team fall in laughter.
Kim Kyungjin, having transformed into Taecyeon, made the audience laugh with his heart performance. Particularly Oh Jungtae, taking over the role of 2PM's flower boy Nichkhun, made the audience and fellow actors alike yell in protest.

The 'For Muzik CD+DVD Asia Exclusive Luxury Package' has been released in Taiwan today. As reported earlier, there will be 19 behind the scene videos on the girls. Now the good news is that they will all be Chinese-subbed. Anyway, Here is a promotional poster of the girls' album. Direct translation of the album title(音樂唯一) would be 'One and Only Muzik' in this case. Let's hope it will be big in Taiwan.
Adding on to what has been mentioned before, 'For Muzik' is expected to be released in 8 Asian countries, including South East Asia and Japan. After their appearance in Shanghai last year, the girls are very excited to perform in a foreign country again, this time in Taiwan. Consequently, they hope to have their very own Asia Tour soon, in order to have some close interactions with their fans of different nationalities. As 4Minute want their fans to dance along to Muzik on the day of the concert, there will be a BEAST&4Minute dance contest. Participants are expected to dance to either group's famous hits, and upload the videos online. The winners would be personally chosen by the idols themselves.
Speaking of the Taiwan concert, Taiwan fans are really lucky this time round. There are lucky draws and many opportunities for the fans to get some exclusive 4Minute and BEAST goodies. Not only will posters and commemorative cards of limited edition be given out to lucky ones, there will also be a a chance for some to take photos with 4Minute or BEAST. Autographed albums and special CDs would also be available for grab. Sounds great, isn't? Looks like the only unfortunate thing is Ki Kwang's absence from the event due to clashes in schedule.
