Popular idol group Super Junior-M met up with their Taiwanese fans on December 5th. The 7 members not only left the stage to get close with the audience, they also performed 12 songs including “Super Girl”. Henry, whose mom is Taiwanese, performed Jay Chou’s “Silence” to show his affinity for the fans.
SJ-M performed at the TICC on Friday night. Unlike other Korean stars that often show music videos and play games at fan meetings, their show cost NT 3 million for lighting and audio, 3D effects, and other equipment. Siwon sang the Chinese Gospel song “Happy Day”, in which the lyrics included, “God, you wash away my sins” (ni xi jing wo di zui), but due to his inaccurate pronunciation, it sounded more like “kiss kiss my lips” (qin qin wo di zui), making the fans blush.

Super Junior-M (SJ-M) arrived on Dec. 4 for their fan meetings. Donghae bravely showed off that he likes (loves) Ariel! He frankly said that he likes women with beautiful foreheads, and Ariel – with whom he’s worked before in an MV – fully meets his ideal. But co-member Siwon revealed that Ryeowook also likes Ariel and frequently watches her TV series. Faced with a rival, Donghae was very jealous.

Reporter: Do they find Chinese songs difficult to sing?
Kyuhyun: The album was recorded in Chinese, and we had to do activities in China, but even though our Chinese isn’t very good, we had to [at least] pronounce it well for the recording. We’re in the middle of studiously improving our Chinese right now.

[Zhou Mi Talks About His Contributions (i.e. lyrics) to the Album]
Zhou Mi: When I heard the “Ai Qing Jie Li” demo for the first time, I thought that this was a song that I could write lyrics to. There’s a very cute melody, and I thought I’d write into a very… sunshine-y, romantic love song. And I don’t have much experience in relationships, so most of my outlook towards feelings is made up of hopes and wishes, and I just write those ideas into my lyrics.

[Do the band members fight/argue?]
Geng: We don’t fight often, we really don’t.
Zhou Mi: *laughing throughout*
Geng: It’s mostly because when we’re at home, we mostly keep to ourselves — that side [gestures vaguely at Kyuhyun] plays games, that one [Siwon] reads, watches TV, or a group of us will play [tiqiu]*, so we don’t really fight at all.

Reporter: So no misunderstandings arise because of the language barrier?
Geng: Oh, no.
Zhou Mi: We all just speak Korean, because most of the members speak Korean. So for the sake of communicating smoothly we all just speak Korean most of the time.

Super Junior’s sub-unit Super Junior-M (SJ-M for short) has arrived in Taipei Taoyuan International Airport at noon. A large number of fans have already waited at the terminal arrival hall. When their idols appeared, fans’ screaming filled the air.

SJ-M’s 7 members acknowledged the fans by waving warmly at them. The members pointed out that they are very happy and excited over their coming to Taiwan this time. This trip is for the purpose of the “Fan Party” fan meeting on the 5th and 6th, but it would be even better if they come to Taiwan to hold a concert in the future. As for those who doesn't understand chinese, here is basically what the videos are about.

The first video: They mentioned Hankyung, ZhouMi and Henry as the three who can speak chinese very well.( as you can see when they show their pictures and details). SJ-M then sings their song in their first album ' At least there's still you'. Henry also mentioned the food that he likes- xiaolongbao(bun), smelly tofu and meatballs. They mentioned that Siwon has worked with Andy Liu( famous hk actor) before while Donghae
has worked with Ariel Lin before.

In the middle you see Donghae having a conversation with Hankyung( they were acting).

Donghae: Hi, i'm donghae. Do you have time?
Hankyung: I'm very busy!
Donghae: Your hp no. ?

Second video: As you can see, there were really ALOT of fans there at the airport. The news reported that some of

Decked out in similar black-and-white themed suits, the South Korean boyband Super Junior-M arrived in Taiwan today for their two fan meetings, and promised to interact with their fans with the most exciting performances they can give.

Taiwanese actress-singer Ariel Lin also appeared at the news conference today, bringing pipagao (traditional Chinese medicine for the throat) with her as a gift. In return, member Donghae presented her with a ticket for the Fan Party, and even addressed her as “Dear Baby”.

Super Junior – M sweeps music charts in Taiwan, China, Philippines and Thailand.
According to SM Entertainment, the mini-album ‘SUPER GIRL’ which was just released in the Philippines on the 18th managed to find their way into the Philippines’ music chart ‘MUSIC ONE TOP 25′ in the first week of release and was ranked #1 in the second week of November.

‘MUSIC ONE TOP 25′ chart, being the largest music chain in the Philippines released a weekly chart after tallying the aggregate amount of album sales, revealing that ‘SUPER GIRL’ is indeed number one in the Philippines and abroad thus naming Super Junior – M an Asian superstar.

“Before Super Junior-M’s ‘SUPER GIRL’, Super Junior Vol 3 ‘SORRY, SORRY’ also topped the chart, making Super Junior the first South Korea’s artist to set up a record of having two number one albums,” said an official at Universal Records, who is in charge of music distribution of Super Junior in the Philippines, disclosing the high rate of popularity among local customers.

Super Junior-M’s title track ‘SUPER GIRL’ also topped the chart in Thailand Channel [V] Countdown for 2 consecutive weeks (November 2 to November 15) confirming a dynamic performance of the group.

“We have tried our best in our first mini-album’s promotion and we would like to send our thanks to our fans who have showed us a lot of attention. We will endeavor to show you a great performance”

A couple of weeks ago one comment written by one Geng fan grasped my attention.

"About income, I once worried about this too.

It was reported that he earned only 1.8 million RMB last year!

My god, with his popularity and his workload, in Hong Kong he would have earned tens of millions.

That’s why he’s called the poorest star in China.

But when I heard that he donated almost all of his yearly income to the victims of Sichuan earthquake, I thought why should I worry.

[news] Reason why Ryewook stayed in China….

because of Super Junior M’s activities i felt disappointed i didn’t have a chance to visit places of interest in China..
this time when the members returned to Korea i prepared for the Great Wall of China trip a few days back~^^
the Great Wall of China that can be seen from outside of the Earth…(when i searched on the internet it says that it’s difficult to observe using the naked eye..)
nevertheless it was magnificant..and never-ending..(do you think we can finish walking? what a thing to say.. ㅎㅎ)

it’s slightly freezing but i like this weather with the sun shining! hyehye~ since morning we’ve been making hodduk*..and pumpkin porridge(only packed the hodduk~ㅋ)
hodduk eaten during such chilly weather at the Great Wall of China is the best^^
we saw a pretty baby wearing santa outfit~ took pictures..rode on the roller coaster..look at bears~^^ really fun~~ ㅋ

i went to this place called the Thirteen Tombs of the Ming Dynasty… worn out after going to the Great Wall of China,, totally exhausted instead of going in we headed straight back to the dorm~^^

when i came back i was looking at the photos all the time it’s a waste looking at them alone and i want to show it~~ so i’m here ^^
everyone please enjoy seeing (the photos) together~~!!^^ please be careful of the flu bug~ i love you
