Even without Jaebum, 2PM is becoming the bluechip of the advertising world.

Beastly idol 2PM is rising to the top of the advertisement world. Even though leader Jaebum is no longer a part of the group, advertisers are calling 2PM left and right to us eas their models.

Recently, 2PM finished an advertisement for a cell phone company and an organic food product. They have also began filming for drinks and have also received offers from 3~4 other companies in which their contracts are currently being drawn up. The reason for so many "love calls" is said to be from their unending popularity.

Advertisers have described 2PM as having "the charm able that fits will with the generation. Usually, idols only hold the teen age group for their fan base. 2PM is different and reaches out to not only the teens, but 20's and 30's as well with their manly charisma. They're also not afraid of showing who they really are on TV, attracting the fan base of males as well."

'Infinity Challenge' looking for ways they can send Jaebum rice

The MBC 'Infinity Challenge' production staff are looking for ways to send Jaebum, who has participated in the rice farming project', rice.

The staff revealed recently to Star news that, "We are considering plans to send rice to the members who worked hard in the rice farming project."

When asked, "Do you have intentions to send some to Jaebum, who's currently residing in Seattle?" they showed a positive stance and replied, "We are currently discussing that. Isn't it only right to for him to get his share of the harvest after working together." However they also added that it was not easy to send grain abroad.

Jaebum had made an appearance in one of the episodes for the 'Rice farming project' bringing about a lot of attention and interest.

[DKP News] Secret voice in GETTING TIRED OF WAITING

It's been a while since Jaebeom's case which has made him retired from 2PM. And one time JYP had visited him in where he stays now, Seattle. Is it the reason why JYP visited Jaebeom once? We don't know.
After waiting impatiently, today 2PM has revealed their 1st Album's song titled GETTING TIRED OF WAITING. 2PM boys have different typical of voice. And surprisingly, though former leader Park Jaebeom is not included in 2PM activities again, a very familiar voice is appearing there. And it's Jaebeom's voice. You can listen it in every chorus they sing.

That means that JYP still wants Jaebeom to be included in 2PM though he cannot appear anymore together with 2PM.

[News/Video] Fans donate blood under Jaebum's name !

Fans donate blood under Jaebum's name

After finding out about Jaebum's departure, a community site collected over 1000 documents of blood donation proof, attracting the attention of many fans.

DC Inside '2PM' Gallery stated on the 30th on their homepage "On the 8th, we have collected 1365 documents of proof under Jaebum's name in recognition of the fact that it has been a month since his departure. Fans have donated to an organization and have collected the appropriate documents. We will be sending them to the JYP office with the intention of asking for Jaebum back."

The Korean Association of Childhood Leukemia has stated "We will be using it preciously towards children with cancer and leukemia."

The fans of this website met within various areas in order to donate blood. Kyungkido, Buchun, Kangwondo, and Daegu were the main locations. Junranamdo had 47 documents, with Asan holding 45, and Seoul holding 44. One location even sent as many as 40.

Starting after Jaebum left for Seattle, the project went on for over a month. Fans collected over 6 proof documents a day to as many as 276.

Netizens went on to say "You guys worked really hard," "This is the act of angels," "Please forgive Jaebum now," and "This is really refreshing to hear."

Male group 2PM (without Jaebum) has finished up their music video filming.

The morning of October 31st was greeted with a teaser site that foreshadowed a possible comeback. Currently, there is about 8 hours and 37 minutes left.

2PM will also be revealing to the public their song on the 2nd at 3 PM, alerting the beginning of their official comeback activities.

2PM finished up their music video filming in Kwangju on the 30th of October for their first album. The members will continue as 2PM without Jaebum.

JYPE has stated that 2PM has also currently finished their jacket picture photoshoots. They will be holding a press conference on the 3rd to publicly state their comeback activities.

It has also been revealed that producer JYP has included tracks with Jaebum's voice left in them.

The 6 member group 2PM has completed the filming of the music video in absolute secrecy.

Last month, on the 30th, 2PM had finished filming their music video and preparations for their activity for the first album on a set in Kyeonggido Kwangju. They have finalized their 6 member activty only a few months after Jaebum's withdrawal from the group. Their management company, JYPE and the music video production crew have been secretive about the planning and concept of this music video.

One staff revealed, "After Jaebum's withdrawal, 2PM had been under pressure because of the pointed interest and attention from the public and media. Even within the company, any talk related to 2PM's album or music video is being hushed."

The rumor has it that for this music video, 2PM had been able to minimize the gap left by leader Jaebum and finish the music video with no problem. They have completed the filming in just one day. It has been said that the only thing left is the editing process and finalization.

2PM has also finished the album jacket shoot quickly, increasing fans' curiosity. The company stated, "We have finished the music video and the photoshoot for the album jacket. We have finished everything necessary for the album. All we need to do now is to wait for the release."

For this album, producer Park Jin Young has put in a lot of attention and energy in the production. He had gone back and forth from America and Korea to produce this album even before Jaebum's withdrawal from the group. It has been said that he had focused on the stage performance aspect for 2PM. 2PM had been getting a lot of attention during their 'Again and Again' activity by being called the 'Beast Idols". 2PM has officially announced their return after their leader Jaebum’s withdrawal from the group and their temporary halt in their activities. 2PM has released the teaser on the 31st and had officially announced their comeback. The countdown on the teaser website stops on Nov. 2nd, amplifying the anticipation.
Fans are uneasy about the end of the countdown and the meaning behind it. There are some speculations that this countdown might relate to Jaebum’s return, gathering a lot of attention and interest.

Moreover, on the 7th, 2PM’s management company JYPE is holding an audition in Seattle. It is a chance for Jaebum and JYP to discuss about a possible return. There is a lot of interest in this because of the closeness of both dates.
About the possibility of Jaebum’s return, JYPE had expressed, “We can’t reveal anything yet” and is keeping quiet. 2PM’s manager Jung Min had stated, “Besides the news of their first comeback stage on the 13th through KBS 2TV ‘Music Bank’, I cannot say anything in detail.”

He had stated that he “could not reveal anything” about 2PM’s activities without Jaebum and have “nothing much to say as of now” about Jaebum’s return. Compared to September when JYP had expressed through the homepage about “2PM’s activity as six”, there is speculation that the possibility of Jaebum’s return to 2PM is higher.
Even about the audition in Seattle, JYPE had been careful about expressing their position. A JYPE staff stated, “The audtion is completely unrelated to Jaebum,” and added “As of now, I can’t reveal which JYP staff is going to Seattle and what kind of meeting will take place with Jaebum.”

On the other hand, some in the music industry forecast that a main staff from JYPE will visit Seattle and meet Jaebum one way or another. They believe that as the public opinion has changed positively for Jaebum’s return, even though it isn’t now, there is a possibility of a positive outcome in all of this.

2PM will be making their comeback on the 13th (without Jaebum) as they will perform on KBS' Music Bank. Their site has been on a countdown the past couple days and something good is expected to be revealed in less than two days.

Many interests have been surrounding this countdown because coincidentally, everything is starting to line up. The JYP auditions will soon be in Seattle (home of Jaebum) as the countdown and the comeback stage is getting many fans to be hopeful for their leaders return.

However, their manager said that "nothing can be revealed and only thing we can tell you is that they will make the comeback on the 13th."

When asked about 2PM performing as 6 in the new album release, he replied "nothing has changed." JYPE went further and said that the "auditions in Seattle have nothing to do with Jaebum... we don't know who will go to Seattle and if they will meet with Jaebum."

So as it still stands, there will be no Jaebum. However, I have a theory that might not sit well with a lot of fans and it's something I've been saying since day one of the episode. This is just my opinions so please don't get it mixed up or anything.

I believe Jaebum will come back but not yet. It has been rumored that 2PM's upcoming album is a full length album (not mini). What I'm thinking is, is that the upcoming album will be released without Jaebum and some if not all songs will not include Jaebum. Couple months into the album, Jaebum will come back and JYPE will release a repackaged album that has Jaebum in it, doubling the potential sales.

Why do I think this way? JYP is a smart business man, if I was him, this is what I would do.

That's just one theory of mine. Let's see if I'm wrong.

JYP Entertainment will maintain and keep its contract with 2PM member JaeBum, who has left the group recently and is currently staying in the States.

The contract period for JaeBum is 7 years. Currently, it has been over a year after his debut, and there are still 5 years left on the contract. So what remains now is when he will return to Korea to resume his activities, and what many calls “the problem of time”.

JYP will be holding an audition in Seattle coming 7th November, and through one of the officials from the company, JaeBUm has also been scouted during the audition by JYP in 2004.

It is still not decided if Park JinYoung will be present at the audition in Seattle. An official said, “Because of JaeBum, there has been much concern about the audition this round.”

JYP Entertainment has also been very careful when asked if JaeBum will return to Korea and resumes activities sooner. But what we know is JaeBum’s contract with JYP will remain.

After having left 2PM, Jaebum has been the target of exaggerated marketing tactics. Various broadcasting companies have been using Jaebum as a means of advertisement. Jaebum's agency, JYPE, has expressed their disappointment. "Jaebum is spending time by rethinking his actions. We understand why everyone is so curious and interested about him but we wish everyone would just step back and give him the time he needs. Please stop intruding into his personal life."

The 'Jaebum Marketing' issue was exacerbated with a show aired on the 25th. 'Sunday Night' producers chased not only Jaebum but also his father.

Netizens have been expressing their anger with the intrusion into his personal life, his house, his family, and his day to day activities. They also criticized the panelists irresponsible and aggressive statements. The discussion board for this show has reached 2,000 posts with netizens expressing their anger.

It is not only broadcasting companies taking part in 'Jaebum Marketing' but also cable channel's Mnet and their MAMA production. They released a statement saying that they would like to bring Jaebum onto their show. Unfortunately, Mnet failed to take into consideration of JYPE's situation. It is basically a 'He could come' but a 'He also couldn't come' situation, making the fans angry with their irresponsibility.

It is expected for much more broadcasting companies to use Jaebum in their marketing ploys up until the end of this year. 'Into Sunday Night' Criticism over invading Jaebum's privacy

A month after the '2PM Jaebum situation', the new program 'Into Sunday Night' is raising controversy on the issue of invasion of privacy.

On the 25th at 11:35PM, 'Into Sunday Night' had aired the footage of Jaebum and his family without their consent. After seeing the surprised/baffled look of Jaebum and his family and the footage of them avoiding the cameras, the viewers raised a voice of criticism on the viewer board online stating that "The program used Jaebum in order to get high ratings."

One viewer stated, "I was watching the program with my parents but changed the channel. Anyone can see that they were just trying to get high viewer ratings for the first episode. He was trying to heal his wounds after leaving Korea and you go and push your cameras into his family's faces...How can Jaebum go around comfortably now?"

Another viewer stated, "Exposing his house, and trying to get an interview from his family who clearly did not want to... It was a sneaky way to film."

Although 'Into Sunday Night' was designed to be an ambitious new program taking controversial issues and the current atmosphere of society and looking at it from a new perspective, after the airing of the first episode, it was hit by a wave of criticism and engulfed in controversy.

As of right now, time2sub2 is uploading episode 175 featuring 2PM with English subs. Although, it may have been before the controversy, it is nice to see them with smiles on their faces.

Not only am I happy, but time2sub2 is also happy because they are finally returning to do what they love to do. Recently, there have been limited amount of videos available to sub of 2PM.
