Q. You said you want to get a boyfriend this year. I heard your ideal man is Big Bang's Taeyang?
IU: Well, my ideal type is a guy who is thoughtful and kind-hearted. The reason I like Taeyang-sunbaenim [senior] is that he smiles so warmly and he was the first person who made me get goosebumps just by looking at him performing on stage. [duno bout anywhere else (except nz) but in Korea they say they get goosebumps if something's really breathtakingly amazing]
He was so awesome! It made me wonder how many people there are in Korea who can dance as well as him.

Oh my goodness,i can't believe that i just noticed this after the song was released more than 2 years.

IU's debut song "Mia" used to be favourite song ,i din't notice that MBLAQ's Thunder is featured in the MV,after watching the MV again,i have to say that Thunder really has the white horse prince look.

Although he just appears in the MV for a few seconds,but i think fans will keep on repeating his part in the MV.

Seriously, i don't know whether this is a good news for IU or not,still remember her performing "Marshmallow" with Yo Seob last week,Yo Seob fans bashed her on her minihomphy and she was forced to close it.

Now,she is going to perform MC Mong's "Love Letter For You" with Key of SHINee,i can't really tell the number of fangirls Key is having,but the number is not going to be less than Yo Seob's.

All i can say is good luck to IU,they will perform this special stage on 8th January on Music Bank!

Do you still remember Yo Seob performing "Marshamallow" with IU last week on Music Bank?

While many are praising their cuteness on the stage,there are some fans who are not happy to see them performing together.Some aggressive fans of Yo Seob left some negative comments on IU's minihomphy!

"How dare you touch Yoseob? You should just study well. Pointless."

"Why are you always with Yoseob, really. But you say your ideal type is Yoseob and you do this and that? It's annoying to always see you two cross lines. Another event like this better not happen in the new year."

I'm sure by now, all of you have heard and seen many of IU's covers of other singers songs. Recently, she did an acoustic medley of songs including IRIS Ost- Don't forget which was sung by Baek Ji Young and her own song, Marshmallow, etc. Honestly, her vocals are really unique. Its somewhat gentle, soft but at the same time powerful~ I really melted
when she sang Don't forget. I can't say she did better than Baek Ji Young because Baek Ji Young is more experienced than her but she really sang it so well i almost want to say she did better than Baek Ji young!

The video also shows her fan meeting with her fans! This time round, her fan meeting has fangirls too! I am really becoming her fan and i hope she will shine in the year 2010!

[News] Top Stars do hand prints to help needy neighbours!

These stars are doing their hand prints for an exhibition called “2009 World Star Experience”. The event is held from Dec 19,2009 in 1st Floor of COEX. The event has a section called “Love Sharing Hand Print”as part of the ongoing exhibition. In this section we can see many stars’ hand prints are shared via a charity event.

Two Jewelry members Seo InYoung and Kim EunJung are also taking part in this event and they also came to COEX Exhibition Hall on Christmas Eve (Dec 24) and did their own hand prints session.

This Star Love Sharing Hand Print is featured the following artists : Seo inYoung, Kim EunJung, KARA, Brown Eyed Girls, 4minute, IU, and Shin SeungHoon.

The event will be held up until Feb 15,2010 with its goal to help the needy neighbours.

[News] Suju Eunhyuk "IU, the most beautiful person in this world"

Super Junior Eunhyuk has expressed his feeling toward singer IU in the year-end special epsidoe of the show KBS Drama "Super Junior's Miracle". One-two, IU, Jungmo are the guests in that epsidoe.

In the beginning of the epsidoe, Eunhyuk has introduced IU as "the girl who melts all the guys' heart" in which Super Junior Leeteuk
asked "She melted your heart, right ?" and expressed the curiousity about Eunhyuk & IU's relationship. When IU came to the filming place, Leeteuk Shindong One-two & Jungmo said "You two look good together, it's like a picture when you two stand side by side like that" which made Eunhyuk smile.

When playing game to create sentence/phrase with IU's name*, Eunhyuk has said "You're beautiful, you're the most beautiful person in this world, Yoobochobab**" which gave a wrong message and thus making people laughing.

Then they have a soccer match with the mentee students, when Eunhyuk made a tied-score goal, he has showed IU the dance of "Marshmallow" to celebrate.

The show will be aired at 10AM on December 19th.


* IU (아이유) is made by 3 words, 아-ah 이-ee and 유-yu, the game is that you will use those 3 words, each words to begin a phrase/sentence
** Yoobochobab (유부초밥) is a kind of food "seasoned rice wrapped in a fried tofu bag " here. They laughed because Eunhyuk supposed to say something about IU which was begun with "yoo", not a name of food ^^

[Video] F(x) @ Maybee's Volume Up Radio (091204)

Today, the girls showed up on Maybee's Volume Up Radio on KBS Cool FM. It's the first radio show they did since Amber, Krystal and Sulli got hit by the swine flu. Now, it's good to hear that they are fully recovered and back on the playing field. During the program, IU called in and it turns out the girls are very close to IU.
