Korea’s first UFC fighter Kim DongHyun reveals his heartfelt confessions to So Nyeo Shi Dae TaeYeon.

Kim DongHyun was recently on ‘Yoo JaeSeok Kim WonHee’s Come To Play’ for ‘Honoured Winner Special Part 2′ when he picked So Nyeo Shi Dae TaeYeon for ‘The celebrity you wish to recommend as a fighter’.

The MCs then asked why he had chosen TaeYeon and Kim DongHyun said, “Rather than saying that she is suitable as a fighter, I just want her to be by my side. I’m a big fan of TaeYeon and she sings really well. If I have a chance later, I want to see her.” and he sent a video message to TaeYeon during the show.

Kim DongHyun also chosen TaeYeon when he was asked to pick the celebrity who would pair well with a fighter.

The show will air on 11th January at 11.05pm.

[News] Seeya-Davichi-Tara project group to start promoting ‘Wonder Woman’, T-ara to move on to promote ‘Like The First Time’

Female group SeeYa-Davichi-T-ara will start off their promotions for the single ‘Wonder Woman’.

The 7 members from the 3 groups will start promoting their new project single ‘Wonder Woman’ officially after the song was revealed last week.

There were 5 members for their first project – SeeYa YeonJi, Boram, Davichi HaeRi, MinKyung and T-ara JiYeon.

But for this project, it will be a 7-member one with new members SeeYa SooMi, T-ara HyoMin and EunJung.

The group will be performing the song live from 15th January on KBS Music Bank.

Meanwhile, member JiYeon will join back T-ara for their promotions of title song ‘Like The First Time’ off their 1st full length album on KBS Music Bank as well.

[News] Super Junior’s Album Popular In The Philippines

MANILA ― Korean boy band Super Junior’s third album, “Sorry, Sorry,” was the top selling K-pop album of 2009 in the Philippines based on sales.

According to Universal Records Philippines, the album is included on the Top 25 Bestselling Albums list for 2009 based on album sales at Music One stores from January to December 2009. Music One is one of the Philippines’ biggest record retail chains.

“Sorry, Sorry” is the only K-pop album on the Top 25 list and is at No. 10 behind albums by artists including Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift and Black Eyed Peas.

Universal Records said “Sorry, Sorry” debuted at No. 1 on the Music One Album Chart just three days after its release in last September. It also became No. 1 at Odyssey Records stores in September.

Super Junior holds the distinction of being the first K-pop artist to reach No. 1 in album sales in the Philippines.

The “Sorry, Sorry” album became a gold record three months after its release in September. It is the first K-pop album to go gold in the Asian country, according to Universal Records.

The Mini-album “Super Girl” from Super Junior M, a subgroup of Super Junior, also reached No. 1 in Music One and Odyssey Records stores in the Philippines.

“Sorry, Sorry” is Super Junior’s best-selling album in Korea. It was released in March last year and quickly went to No. 1 on the Hanteo Charts.

Super Junior was also the biggest winner at the 24th Golden Disk Awards, bagging three awards including the Disk Daesang Award, for album of the year, and the Samsung YEPP Popularity Award.

[News] Lee Min Ho takes the lead in Personal Taste

Lee Min-ho has picked his next project.

Remember Personal Taste? Based on a popular novel, the drama adaptation had once been rumored to reunite Goong stars Yoon Eun-hye and Joo Ji-hoon, but after a lot of unconfirmed talk, the project fizzled. The story would have starred the male lead as a straight guy pretending to be gay to live together with the female lead and, well, stuff would ensue.

On January 11, Lee Min-ho’s management announced that he would star in the MBC drama, which now appears to be in different production hands. (The first round was to be directed by Kim Sang-ho, who did the comedy Fantasy Couple and horror thriller Hon.) Now the director will be Sohn Hyung-seok of family drama Job Well Done and Kim Sun-ah’s When Night Comes; writing is Park Hye-kyung of Stained Glass.

Lee Min-ho’s role is of “Jeon Jin-ho,” who passes himself off as gay. His hobbies (?) include organization and ironing, and he’s known for his stoic poker face. He’s a stickler for cleanliness, but he also has a talent for figuring out women’s feelings.

Personal Taste hasn’t yet chosen its female lead, and will begin filming in late February for an April premiere.

[News] Why was Taecyeon late in confirming Family Outing 2?

Male group 2PM's Taecyeon has confirmed his casting for SBS's Family Outing 2 and will soon be going into recording.

It's been found that the production team for Family Outing 2 had Taecyeon on their cast list earlier than known. But why was the confirmation so delayed?

When so many different celebrities came out with their confirmations, the reason Taecyeon couldn't was because of his leader Park Jaebum's leave to America, which put a halt to all of their personal activities.

Last year, 2PM's Jaebum was swept in controversy and left for America. The members did not participate in any personal activities except their MC'ing positions in Inkigayo, which was contracted earlier.

People are saying that JYP Entertainment had a hard time with the decision in Taecyeon participating in Family Outing 2. The production team of Family Outing 2 were just as careful.

However, the company has decided that the members can no longer not participate in personal activities and will be using Taecyeon as their stepping stone to increasing the activities of the rest of the members.

2PM’s Wooyoung was picked out of 2PM to be the person who can cook well.

The portal site Nate released a poll asking, “Out of the 2PM member who can cook the best with full potential and well, like SungChan in the movie ‘Le Grand Chef: Kimchi War’?” The poll was done for a week, starting on the 4th.
