[News] Kang MinKyung in car accident on 11th, Davichi new album release pushed to April

Davichi Kang MinKyung has met with a car accident.

On 11th March at 11pm, it was known that Kang MinKyung has met with a car accident on her way home after doing album recordings.

During the accident, Kang MinKyung was driving the car and fortunately she did not suffer from any major injuries. According to Davichi’s company on 12th March, “Fortunately she did not suffer from any major injuries, we don’t know if there is any after effects and hence we sent her to the hospital for health examination on 12th March. And she is currently resting at home.”

From the hospital side, they have given instructions for Kang MinKyung to rest for 2 weeks for her neck injury.

Meanwhile, before the car accident, it was originally planned for Davichi to release a new minialbum end of this month, but the album has now been pushed to be released in mid-April.

Female duo Davichi will be making their comeback in March with a new album.

Their new album is 80% completed and according to reliable source,many famous composers are involved in their new album.The girls will make sure that their album has the best quality all the time.

I got to know these girls in 2008 thanks to their famous song "Love and War",the girls made themselves well known with songs like 8282,My Man and Hot Stuff in 2009.

[News] Big Bang and Leessang are Cyworld’s BGM Stars

SK Communications will give to awards, “2009 Best 10”, to artists who sold the most songs in Cyworld’s Myspaces. The nominees are Big Bang, G-Dragon, Lee Ssang, Brown Eyed Girls, Davichi, Girls Generation, MC Mong, 2NE1, 2PM, and 8Eight as announced on the 23rd of February.

Jang Gi Ha and the Faces received the Digital Music Award. Cho Young Soo received the Composer Award for composing Lee Seung Chul’s ‘There’s no one like that.’ Jung In, who was featured in the song, ‘The Girl Who Can’t Let Go, and the Man that Can’t Leave,’ received a Collaboration Award. SS501, who sang the OST for the hit drama, ‘Boys over Flowers,’ received the ‘OST Award.’

The Digital Music Awards show will be on March 1st, at 5PM, in the Seoul Olympic Park as ‘Cyworld Digital Music Awards 2009.’

The awards show’s MC will be Horan; ‘the best artist’ and ‘the best song’ will be announced in the awards ceremony.

The Cyworld Digital Music Awards are awarding 1 of 10 Bongsang nominees or top background songs played on Cyworld in 2009. The event will be held on March 1 (5pm KST) and there will also be awards for Rookie of the Year, Best Composer, etc.

[Video] Wonder Women debuted on Inkigayo!

Special project group "Wonder Women" formed by members of T-ara,SeeYa and Davichi,made their debut stage on Inkigayo today!

Started to like this song when i watched the LIVE performances,there is a part of the song where Hyo Min sings,"Going to the movies","Going to the Zoo","Going to the beach"...although it is a bit weird but i find it cute.

Hope that the girls will win awards on music shows with this song,so please enjoy their performance on Inkigayo here!

[Video] "Wonder Woman" MV ranked at 1st place on GomTV!

Wonder Woman MV featuring members of T-ara,SeeYa and Davichi ranked first place on GOMTV after the MV was released for a few hours!

Women's Generation formed last year gained a lot of love and attention from fans and this second project group is loved by many fans too!

The "Wonder Woman" MV was released at 10AM KST at 15th January on GOMTV and it ranked at 1st place a few hours after releasing!

The girls will make their debut stage on Music Bank aired on 15th January!

[News] Seeya-Davichi-Tara project group to start promoting ‘Wonder Woman’, T-ara to move on to promote ‘Like The First Time’

Female group SeeYa-Davichi-T-ara will start off their promotions for the single ‘Wonder Woman’.

The 7 members from the 3 groups will start promoting their new project single ‘Wonder Woman’ officially after the song was revealed last week.

There were 5 members for their first project – SeeYa YeonJi, Boram, Davichi HaeRi, MinKyung and T-ara JiYeon.

But for this project, it will be a 7-member one with new members SeeYa SooMi, T-ara HyoMin and EunJung.

The group will be performing the song live from 15th January on KBS Music Bank.

Meanwhile, member JiYeon will join back T-ara for their promotions of title song ‘Like The First Time’ off their 1st full length album on KBS Music Bank as well.
