[News] 2PM are waiting for JAEBUM and are 'Tired of Waiting'

2PM's 'Tired of Waiting' is the first comeback single in 2010 which has already been a hit.

On the 2nd of January 2PM were on MBC New Year's special 'Show! Music core' and preformed the second promotion title after 'Heartbeat', 'Tired of waiting'. 'Tired of waiting' is the first single that was released back in November.

'Tired of waiting' is a series of instruments and vocals, which is a 4-beat dance song. From the beginning of the song to the end the 'clap loop' is impressive. If the single 'Heartbeat' highlighted the red colour of the heart, then 'Tired of Waiting' will be using the colour Black to show the toughness of 2PM.

Also 2PM's song 'Tired of waiting' has caught many attention from the title. Last year 2PM's comeback of 1:59PM countdown made fans anticipate of what it was and also whether there was any possibility that Jaebum was coming back.

'Tired of waiting' was the meaning of the anticipation of Jaebum from 2PM members. Also 2PM's 'Tired of waiting' choreography of hitting the ground was a serene meaning which caught alot of attention.

Last year, '2PM's Jaebum return have recieved high expectations of the fans as much as last year but also this year too.

Also 2PM's 'Tired of Waiting' and also following on from 'Heartbeat' have been very popular and been the most songs payed attention from fans.

Singer Younha sings 2PM's "Again & Again" on Chocolate aired yesterday.

Younha is a bit unfortunate in 2010 as she has become the first victim of H1N1 among korean celebrities.

However,we viewers are lucky enough to watch her appearing on Chocolate as the episode was taken a few weeks ago,if not we will have to wait for a few weeks more to view the episode.

[News] Gain and Jo Kwon's duet tops online music charts

Brown Eyed Girls' Ga-in and 2AM's Jo Kwon are taking online music charts by storm with their duet song "We Fell In Love", according to a press release by agency Nega Network on Wednesday.

As of December 30, "Love" -- composed by songwriter Lee Min-soo and lyricist Kim Yi-na -- ranked at No. 1 on various Internet music sites such as Cyworld, Melon and Dosirak. The duet also ranked second on other Web-based music providers including Mnet and Soribada. 

The duet track, which was released on December 17, was performed by the two singers who appear as a make believe couple on popular variety show segment "We Got Married" (MBC). Footage of Ga-in and Jo Kwon recording "Love" in a studio were shown in an episode of "Married" which aired this past Saturday. 

Ga-in is one of the four members of girl group Brown Eyed Girls, who debuted in 2006 with album "Your Story". They had two hit singles this year, "Abracadabra" and "Sign". 

Jo Kwon is the leader of boy band 2AM, who were discovered and trained by South Korea's major talent agency JYP Entertainment. The group was one of the two sub-groups which spun off from a boy band called One Day. The other sub-group was 2PM.

[News] Big Bang to release their new Korean album this summer + Big Bang will focus on Japanese activities for the first half of 2010

Big Bang will return this summer to the Kpop music industry.

YG Entertainment’s chief executive/founder, Yang Hyun Suk had a phone call with Star News last December 31st in which he said, “Big Bang will return with a new album inmid-2010, they will release a new full album in Korea this summer.” he said.

It’s been a long time since Big Bang released an album as a whole. Their last album was in November 2008, and ever since they’ve been working in Japan and on their solo activities.

However, Big Bang will focus on Japanese activities for the first half of 2010.

YG said, “On December 30 at the 51st Japan Record Awards, Big Bang won the‘Best Newcomer Award’ due to this big recognition in Japan, Japanese music officials and fans have a lot of expectations from Big Bang for 2010, for this reason Big Bang will focus on activities in Japan for the first half of 2010.”

Also, “For the Korean fans waiting for Big Bang, Daesung will debut with his solo album next year as well as TOP.” YG said.

According to Yang Hyun Suk early next year, Taeyang’s solo album will be released offline. After that Daesung will release his solo album for which he is currently recording and producing right now. Seungri and TOP will also release a digital single or mini album for the fans.

In addition, Korean fans will be able to enjoy three Big Bang concerts startingJanuary 29th to January 31st at the Seoul’s Olympic Stadium.

2AM spent New Years with 8eight

2AM will be spending their 31st in Daegu at 8eight's 2009 year end concert 'Maximum Level.' 2AM was invited as a guest and 8eight has stated on BaekChan's radio "We will be with 2AM together just like last fall's concert," expressing their close friendship.

8eight's concert will continue on until 2010's early morning, with the concert split into two parts to celebrate the new year with a countdown event in the middle. 8eight and 2AM will be spending their last night into 2010 together.

[News] Korean viewers showed dissatisfaction towards New SBS “Intimate Note 3″!

SBS TV has aired a new version of “Intimate Note’ called ‘Intimate Note 3′ for the year 2010.

Yet, the response towards its 1st episode aired on Jan 1st,2010 was quite bad as viewers showed their dissatisfaction.

On Jan 1st,2010 at 10 pm, the show was first broadcasted. The MCs for this show are: Shin JungHwan and Park MiSeon whilst the special MCs for the 1st episode are Brian and SS501 Park Jung Min.

As for the guest, they received casts from SBS new dramas “Byul eul tadajwo” (Choi Jeongwon, Kim JiHoon) and “Jejungwon” (Yeon JeongHoon and Han HyeJin).

Different with previous ‘Intimate Note 2′ , this new ‘Intimate Note 3′ comes in a talk show format and done inside a studio where the guests discuss certain subject and find ways to solve the issue.

The show is also said to be similar with other TV shows such as : SBS ‘Yasim man man’ and Shin Junghwan role is also said close to his role in MBC Golden Fishery – Radio Star or KBS2 Sang Sang Plus.

After the 1st broadcast, the official website message board has received numerous complaints regarding the show. Few comments are saying, “Intimate Note has lost its personality” or “Missed Kim GooRa, Moon HeeJun, Lee GyeongGyu and Eun JiWon”, etc.

Meanwhile, next guests for the upcoming Jan 8th schedule are : Lee GyeongSil and Lee SongMi.

T-ara EunJung gives an official explanation about her snowman costume.

On 27th December, she had written on her minihompy diary, “I didn’t know that people would see it as a punishment…Ohyo keke. The one person I’m reminded of at this moment. ㅅㅈㄴ”

Previously, EunJung’s snowman costume worn for T-ara’s Christmas special performances of their song ‘Bo Peep Bo Peep’ has been commented on by 2PM TaecYeon with, “Your costume today is some kind of punishment? Kekeke” and has been the topic amongst netizens.


Some netizens have also called T-ara’s stylists as antis putting the members in weird costumes like that of the snowman costume which EunJung was put in .

Meanwhile, T-ara won their 1st #1 on music show with the song ‘Bo Peep Bo Peep’ just 5 months into debut on KBS Music Bank on 1st January.

Group Super Junior’s ‘Sorry Sorry’ is #1 on Taiwan’s 2009 Top 100 single, picked by a local radio there.

Taiwan HitFM picked ‘Sorry Sorry’ as #1 for 2009 Taiwan top 100 single looking at top 100 hit songs released in Taiwan in the past 1 year. HitFM is the radio channel with the highest tune-in rate in Taiwan.

Also on the chart at #11 is Super Junior’s ‘It’s You’ and at #29 is Super Junior M’s ‘Super Girl’, proving the group’s popularity in Taiwan. Earlier, it was also reported that the song ‘Sorry Sorry’ is up #1 for 30 weeks on Taiwan online music sit KKBOX for ‘Korea-Japan Top 100 Weekly Chart’.
