"Cheon Dung signed a deal to shoot a commercial for coffee brand "Cafe Mori", just ten days into his debut, J.Tune Entertainment said in a press release.

J.Tune added that the shoot is set to take place today with the Wonder Girls who are briefly visiting Korea after ranking No. 76 on Billboard's Top 100 last week to become the first Korean artist to place on the esteemed chart.

Cheon Dung, whose real name is Park Sang-hyun, received much attention ahead of his debut as girl group 2NE1 member Sandara's younger brother.

MBLAQ is the first group Asian superstar Rain created and introduced to the public since turning producer.

The five-member group's debut album, released on October 14, reached No. 1 on several offline and online charts on the day of its release. "

[News] Lee Seung Gi’s ‘Let’s Break Up’ claimed to have plagiarised Tim’s ‘Injured Ankle’

Amidst all the plagiarism controversies lately in Kpop, it was said that the police has received a complaint claiming that singer Lee Seung Gi’s new song ‘Let’s Break Up’ is plagiarised work.

Composer SeongHwan, who also composed singer Tim’s ‘Injured Ankle’, said on 27th October, “Lee Seung Gi’s song ‘Let’s Break Up’ has infringed on the copyrights of the song ‘Injured Ankle’ released in 2007″ submitting his complaint and also documents of evidence in Seoul.


Already there has been some suspicion on 7th October on various portal sites where netizens voiced that the 2 songs have sounded very similar.

Lee Seung Gi’s new song ‘Let’s Break Up’ has caused quite a sensation when he first released it, with the song going up ranks on music charts in just 2 days into its release.

Composer SeongHwan said, “Singer cum actor Lee Seung Gi’s album ‘Shadow’ title song ‘Let’s Break Up’ has infringed more than 4 lines of Tim’s ‘Injured Ankle’. I hereby request for investigation into the case.”

It is known that Lee Seung Gi’s song was composed by Mr Kim and Mr Lee.

SeongHwan then revealed during a phone interview on 28th October saying, “When I first heard Lee Seung Gi’s song, I suspected something. Personally I thought about 16 lines had infringed the copyrights of Tim’s song, but altogether there are 4 lines with copyrights infringed. I sent my concerns to Lee Seung Gi’s company and also to the concerned composers about judging on it and about different variations, but there was no reply, so I decided to lodge a complaint about it.”

He has also decided to file for litigation and also request for royalty fees from KOMCA afterwhich.

But according to the concerned composer Mr Lee of the song ‘Let’s Break Up’, “I have not been contacted by the police yet. But I will be seeking advice from various authorities and officials about it.”

Seong Hwan has written many songs for other kpop singers like Monday Kiz, Park HyunBin, Hwayobi etc.

[NEWS]2AM Jo Kwon down with swine flu!

Male group 2AM member Jo Kwon (20) has been confirmed a swine flu case on 28th October.

It was revealed that Jo Kwon has developed high fever over last weekend and developed flu symptoms. He was then sent to the hospital where he was given body examination and also swine flu test. The swine flu test results shows positive, and Jo Kwon is now quarantined away from the rest of his group mates.

Also because of flu and high fever, he did not participate in 2AM’s schedule last weekend, and is currently resting.

He will be the next Kpop singer after SS501 Kim Hyun Joong and K Will to be down with swine flu.

I think many of you don't really know that T-ara's Boram is a daughter of drama actress Lee Mi Young.Although i have not watched many Korean dramas before,but i did see Lee Mi Young in a drama starred ny Yoon Eun Hye,"The man in the Vineyeard",playing her role as Yoon Eun Hye 's mum in the drama.

Hi,sorry for not being able to post these few days due to busy school works as exam is nearby.

Found some preview photos of SNSD's Yuri and Sunny for the 2nd episode of "Invincible Youth"!You must be surprused with the title of my post right?I think many of you know that Kim Tae Woo has confessed in a show before saying that she admired SNSD's Yuri,he managed to get through all the hard time in army looking at Yuri's photo,i guess Yuri has really helped him a lot.

Kim Tae Woo is lucky enough to work with Yuri in KBS's New show "Invincible Youth",as you can see in the photo above,Yuri is feeding Tae Woo....Kim Tae Woo must be very excited with that leaving Yuri' fanboys in jaelousy.

2PM (or 6PM's) new album release date is currently set to November 10th.

A few days ago, melon.com (another big music site in Korea) took down 2PM's new album from their "coming soon" list. The music preview for 2PM's album was supposed to be available November 3rd, but they had taken the information down, perhaps due to the kHottests boycott movement.

2PM, Super Junior, Shinee etc. to open next month's 'Hope Concert'

The top singers of Korea are going to stand on stage in Busan.

The Busan Association for the Disabled revealed on the 28th that "Super Junior Happy, 2PM, Shinee and others are going to open for the 1st annual Korea 'Hope Concert' held on November 14th in Busan Asiad Stadium.

At the concert, these 3 teams are each going to perform 6 songs, kind of like a semi concert style. This is bringing about a lot of attention from fans.

Stareast, in charge of the ticketing and promotion, has stated, "Because the sponsors want a safe and organized concert, we created a special fan club seating area," they went on to add "The promotion for ticketing is going on in the Stareast entertainment homepage, and we are getting a lot of attention from fans at this time."
