[News] K.Will Represents Korea For Japan's Pop Festival

K.Will represents Korea at Japan’s pop festival

Ballad singer K.Will will be visiting Japan over the weekend to represent Korea at the Asia Pop Festival in Japan. The event will be held in the Niigata prefecture, said his agency Starship Entertainment on Wednesday.

Starship mentioned that the festival is set to open this Sunday, on Valentine’s Day and will be featuring top stars from different Asian countries. K.Will was invited to the event because of his increasing fan base in Japan, said concert producers NHK Enterprise as quoted by K.Will’s management.

The Asia Pop Festival, held in commemoration of the earthquake that occurred in Niigata five years ago, is set to bring together artists from different countries that have participated in relief efforts. Japanese singer GACKT and Taiwanese singers Jerry Yan and actor Peter Ho will also be present at the event this year.

K.Will will be performing some of his hit songs such as “Teardrops,” “Miss, miss, miss,” and “Love is Punishment” (taken from “Brilliant Legacy” OST)

[news] Wheesung diagnosed with swine flu!

After feeling ill on the 21st, singer Wheesung went to a hospital and on the 23rd he was diagnosed with swine flu. However he was treated with the Tammy Flu vaccination afterwords and is reported to be recovering well. If you recall, he was also the only person that K.Will kept in touch with when he himself had the virus.

A representative from POP/UP Entertainment said:
"After receiving the Tammy Flu treatment, his fever went down almost immediately and he's almost at a state of full recovery. Today we plan to revisit the hospital and check up on his status."


It's good to hear that he's quickly recovering but unfortunately this meant that he was not able to attend the showcase, "Fill Korea, K-POP Night" in Shanghai, China. Many fans may be disappointed but on a brighter note, it has been reported that he will be appearing on the November 26th episode of Music Bank.

A few days ago, K.Will released a clip of himself dancing to G-Dragon's "Heartbreaker." Earlier on Chocolate, he showed viewers the outcome of his hard work and performed "Heartbreaker."

K.Will pulled all the stops to resemble G-Dragon for this performance. The outfit was reminiscent of G-Dragon with the printed tee, skinny jeans and leather cropped jacket. And what would this look be without the huge silver chain necklace? This transformation would not have been complete without the blond hair, which is probably a wig.

K.Will, known for being quite unpredictable, surprises us once again. This time he shows us his dancing skills by releasing a video of himself practicing to G-Dragon's "Heartbreaker."

Earlier this year, K.Will showed us that he can rap just as fast as Outsider, and is proof that with hard work, anything is possible.

Don't think that these ballad singers just know how to sing. Park HyoShin showed us that he can throw down a few moves earlier this month on Chocolate. K.Will also surprised us with this video clip. Dancing and singing is hard to pull off, and for K.Will to make the task seem so easy just shows that this man is someone to not take lightly. He has the voice and talent to switch it up and if K.Will wanted to, he would probably succeed changing his style to fast upbeat songs.

A change up on Tae Yeon's Chin Chin Radio this week. Instead of having Bora Wednesday, it was Bora on Friday. Friday is when K.Will and Llac come to their weekly segment. Since K.Will is also promoting his new song, "Miss, Miss, and Miss", the bora was shown then to promote him. It's a shame, though. Hwanhee was on Chin Chin wednesday. Why couldn't they have bora twice this week?!

[News] TaeYeon no longer hugs K Will!

Another photo featuring So Nyeo Shi Dae TaeYeon and singer K Will has become the topic amongst netizens.

On 1st November during TaeYeon’s radio show MBC ‘TaeYeon’s ChinChin’, a photo was posted up on the noticeboard of the show. The photo revealed is the part 2(?) to the concept photos taken with guest appearances K Will and Ilak on the show.

In this photo, TaeYeon was seen playing around and teasing K Will instead of hugging him as shown previously.

The 1st part of the photo features TaeYeon hugging K Will rousing much envy from fans and netizens.

Fans responded positively to the photos, many though the 3 looked cute in the photos. Fans are also looking forward to more of the series of concept photos posted up by TaeYeon weekly.

[news] SNSD Taeyeon, Why is She Hugging K.Will?

The released pictures of SNSD Taeyeon hugging K.Will is becoming a discussion topic.

The pictures that drew attention were the ones that were updated on the MBC ‘Taeyeon’s Chin Han Chin Gu’ radio homepage on the 26th of Taeyeon tightly hugging K.Will.

In the picture, Taeyeon can be seen holding K.Will closely and is smiling at the camera while K.Will is covering his face with his hands and seems to be embarrassed.

And Ilak who was standing by them is covering his own mouth with his hands and posed as if he was trying to hide his embarrassment.

The staff of ChinChin posted a comment with the picture saying, “We had various thoughts when we heard the news of K.Will coming to the studio. Whether we should all be wearing masks or typing with latex gloves on our hands.”

But they also stated below, “We aren’t like that. We’re like a family, we won’t be afraid of K.Will. We will not be afraid.”

Reacting to this comment, Taeyeon hugged K.Will as a statement saying, ‘I won’t be afraid of the flu that K.Will was infected with’ while Ilak made the statement of ‘I should be careful’ by posing far away from the two and covering his mouth.

K.Will, who has been a set cast on the show was under treatment at his home when it was stated that he was sick from the flu on the 14th. However, after the treatment, he has officially recovered since the 21st.

[News] K.Will is Coming Back

K.Will, who recently recovered from H1N1 virus, also known as the swine flu will be making a comeback!

K.Will will resume his activities as his second album will be released on November 5th. On October 28th, K.Will reached out to his fans through me2day by posting a picture eluding to the release and wrote, "Stay tuned to the release of my second album."

He was originally scheduled to make a comeback on October 22nd, but it was delayed due to the swine flu.

Surprisingly, this is only his second album. Throughout the past few years he has been releasing digital singles and mini-albums, but this will be his the first full album since March 2007. He has prepared a huge gift for his fans as his album will contain 18 tracks.

His agency stated, "K.Will's appealing vocals will be maximized as the nation's best composers and writers have participated in this album. Outsider, who is known for his explosive rapping is also featured."

K.Will was spotted secretly filming his music video for his title-song on the 27th, somewhere near Seoul and Kyung Ki Do.
