[News] Yoo JaeSeok awarded the variety Daesang during MBC Variety Awards

‘Infinite Challenge’ has been awarded the best variety show for the 4th year on MBC Variety Awards.

MBC Variety Awards took place on 29th December in MBC broadcast centre. This is the 4th consecutive year the show has been awarded the best variety show on the award ceremony after it was first chosen by netizens as the best program in 2006.

And as for the variety DaeSang, the award goes to MC Yoo JaeSeok. Yoo JaeSeok has received acknowledge for his appearance on MBC ‘Come To Play’ and ‘Infinite Challenge’. This is Yoo JaeSeok’s 5th DaeSang received.

In his thankyou speech, Yoo JaeSeok mentioned, “HoDong hyung whom I respect, Miseon noona whom I love, even though we have been friends for long I didn’t even get to wish you happy birthday HwiJae ah happy birthday.” He also thanked his team Infinite Challenge team Park MyungSoo, Gil, Jung JoonHa, Jung HyungDon, Noh Hong Chul, JunJin, HaHa; and Kim WonHee, Lee HaNeul and Eun Ji Won from ‘Come To Play’ during his speech.

[News] Kang HoDong VS Yoo JaeSeok, 2PM VS Big Bang are the top 2 showdowns netizens wish to see

Netizens have chosen the 2 national MCs Kang Ho Dong and Yoo JaeSeok as the rival showdown which they wish to see the most.

Yes24 did a poll from 21st till 28th December on “Like Seol KyungGoo and Ryu SeungBeom, which is the top showdown you wish to see?” in lieu of the upcoming movie ‘No Forgiveness’ to be aired on 7th January. And the results were announced on 29th December.

A total of 1052 netizens voted and the showdown they wish to see the most is between Kang Ho Dong and Yoo JaeSeok voted at #1 with 48% votes (508).

Voted #2 is the showdown ‘2PM VS Big Bang’ with 26% votes (276). The 2 are 2 of the top boybands in Kpop.

At #3 is ‘Park ChanHo VS Lee Seung Yeop’ with 13% votes (136) and #4 is ‘So Nyeo Shi Dae VS KARA’ with 11% votes (116).

[News] Yoo JaeSeok and Kang HoDong voted #1 and #2 best Gagman for the 5th year

Poll organization Gallop announces the annual poll for ‘Gagman of the Year’ and for 2009 MC Yoo JaeSeok reign for the 5th year voted at #1 on the poll.

Gallop announces the results done on 1726 netizens aged over 13 on the question ‘2009 Best Gagman’ and 51.6% of netizens voted. This is Yoo JaeSeok’s 5th year voted at #1 on the poll since 2005, and he has also been hailed as ‘national MC’ for his numerous MC roles on shows like KBS 2TV Happy Together, MBC Infinite Challenge, SBS Family Outing etc.

At #2 is Kang HoDong with 43.5% of the votes and this is also his 5th year at #2 on the poll after Yoo JaeSeok.

[news] MC Yoo Jae Suk is leaving Family Outing

Guys, it's the end of the world. Our beloved MC Yoo Jae Suk will be stepping out from his show, Family Outing.

The Chocolate E&TF Entertainment revealed on the 26th,


"We and the SBS are currently under a contract to film the episodes for Family's Outing until January of 2010.

We are not planning on extending it. Yoo Jae Suk had already shown us his desire to exit the program in September, and agreed to end his appearance next year. Yoo Jae Suk now needs family time for his wife, Na Kyung Eun, who is currently in her 5th month of pregnancy."


It's only MC Yoo himself that will be quitting the show - however, there is a 99% possibility the whole program will come to an end as well.

Well after all, how can Family Outing be Family without their resident joker? I guess it's now time for us to say his favorite phrase. Geut bye, Yoo Jae Suk.
