[NEWS] Hyunah's secret diet to losing 17kg is?

Hyunah who is being known for her pelvic dance in her solo hit "Change" said on a variety program that she "lost 17kg since [she] was in elementary school" and everyone was surprised. After that, many pictures which compared her plump appearance and her current appearance surfaced on the Internet. Many people were interested about this natural diet that helped her lose weight.

During a broadcast she said, "I took the stairs instead of riding on elevators," but her secret to losing a lot of weight was to not eat foods that contained wheat flour. Hyunah avoided these kinds of food and she made it a habit to eat only a little yet frequently. Also, she didn't exercise lazily. She originally loved dancing ever since she was younger, so intensely practicing dance was extremely good exercise.

Meanwhile, Hyunah and 4minute along with BEAST promoted successfully in Taiwan. Hyunah is expected to continue her activities for "Change" with great speed.

[NEWS] 4Minute’s HyunA crowned as a sexy icon with a “sporty pop look”!

Hyunah, who is currently doing activities for her first solo “Change,” has another flashy and special fashion that is attracting attention.
It has only be 3 weeks since her solo debut and she is reaching high ranks on music charts. She is also emerging as a star with luxury abs and her “pelvic dance.” Although she is young, she is showing sexy charisma on-stage and is being known for her “sporty pop look” style. This “sporty pop look” is a combination between sporty and hip-hop.
Hyunah had a unique style and made a new trend while she performed with 4minute, too. Her torn leggings were very popular and Change’s “sporty pop look” is becoming a new item this season.
Hyunah is making a slim tanktop with the latest glam and a hip-hop feel plus loose jeans look trendy and fitting. She sports (no pun intended) this “sporty pop look” with overflowing power on stage.
Check out her “sporty pop look” which is clearly shown during her performance on January 10, 2010.

[NEWS] HyunAh officially changes Hanja name!

On 22nd January 2010's episode of 'Entertainment E Generation', a Taiwan radio show, HyunAh cleared all misconceptions about her Hanja name.

Reported earlier was the fact that HyunAh has her Hanja name set as 泫我 (Xuan Wo). This created a little uproar as Chinese-speaking 4Minute fans were disappointed by the weird-sounding name Cube has released to the Taiwanese public.

As HyunAh has been studying Chinese in Korea since before the Taiwan trip, her Chinese tutor asked her if she wants to change her name to 泫雅 (Xuan Ya) instead. HyunAh thought it sounds cute, so she decided to officially change it to Xuan Ya.

I think it's a big relief for the fans since everyone has been so used to calling her Xuan Ya since her first day of debut. Also, if you have missed 'Entertainment E Generation' live on the day itself, you can download it here.

[News] 4minute and BEAST attract 5,000 fans to Taiwan concert

Korean pop groups 4minute and BEAST successfully wrapped their first promotional tour in Taiwan over the weekend, together attracting a huge crowd to their concert and fan meeting.

First, the news of their arrival in Taiwan on January 21 was reported in the 8 o'clock evening news of public network TTV with the two bands seen delivering their greetings in Chinese in front of Taiwanese fans and the media.

They kicked off the tour with a press conference and fan meeting the next day to which some 2,000 Taiwanese fans showed up. Organizers had to cut down the attendance for the event, which took place at CTS Broadcasting Station, to 200 people for safety reasons.

The girl group and the boy band then held a joint concert on Saturday attended by some 5,000 fans of both groups. They performed for about two hours, singing numerous songs including their unreleased tracks "Won't You Give It To Me" (by 4minute) and "Yet" (BEAST).

4minute -- composed of Jihyun, Gayoon, Jiyoon, HyunA and Sohyun -- debuted in June 2009 with the single "Hot Issues". Their subsequent mini-album "For Muzik" was a big success, topping various music charts in both Korea and Taiwan.

BEAST, which stands for "Boys of the East Standing Tall", debuted in October 2009 with the mini-album "Beast Is The B2ST". They are composed of six members -- Doo-joon, Hyun-seung, Jun-hyung, Yo-seob, Dong-woon and Gi-kwang, who was unable to attend the Taiwan tour due to his personal schedule.

Both K-pop groups are managed by Korean entertainment agency Cube Entertainment who recently signed a strategic alliance with global record company Universal Music Group in an attempt to further expand their careers overseas.
