[News] Kara jumps to the top of Mnet music chart

Five-member girl group Kara has jumped to the No. 1 spot on the Mnet singles chart with their new single "Lupin."

The title track from their third mini album rose six slots on the singles chart to take its first win for the final week of February. 

The girls, who released their mini album of the same name as their title track early last week, started promoting their song by making a comeback on televised music shows including KBS' weekly music show "Music Bank" on Friday and SBS' "Inkigayo" on Sunday.

2AM was pushed back to second place with their song "I Can't Let You Go" and Girls' Generation's "Oh!" dropped a spot to round off the top three singles. 

Meanwhile, Girls' Generation's second album "Oh!" was crowned the bestselling record for the third consecutive week. 2AM's first full-length album "I Can't Let You Go" and T-ara's "Absolute First Album" held their second and third place rankings, respectively.

[News] Lee Hyori on comeback 4th album, “Had me anticipating and nervous”

Lee Hyori talks about her comeback album, “This 4th album had me anticipating and nervous.”

Lee Hyori wrote on her fan cafe on 3rd March about her upcoming new album. She wrote, “Finally the 8 months of recording has ended. Now that the recordings are all done, we will try our best to release the album soon.” It was recently reported that she will have her comeback this month.

She added, “I’ve waited for so long. I wanted it to be released quickly but because I wanted it to be good as well, it took a long time. Even though it has always been the case, this time the album works were really tough.”

It has not been an easy task for Lee Hyori for this album, not only was she involved in producing, she also took part in the lyrics writing of the songs, taking each and every song seriously.

She ended off with, “This album is something I really like and consists of music that I had always wanted to try out. Even though it was tougn, I’m really excited and it was an enjoyable process. I believe everyone will like it too.”

Meanwhile, she is in the last stage of preparations for her comeback with this 4th album.

[News] Korea’s youngest idol group D-NA’s debut showcase on 3rd March

The youngest idol group D-NA sets to debut.

Ahead of their official debut, they had their debut showcase on 3rd March in Seoul ShinSaDong YoonDang Art Hall. These singers had spent the past 3 years in preparation for their debut. And they picked group Dong Bang Shin Ki as their role model, determined to be the 2nd Dong Bang Shin Ki.

The group consists of 5 members HyunMin, In Joon, GaRam, Jay and Mika. They are known for their good vocal capabilities and harmony as well as their dance capabilities.

Their group name (대국남아, D-NA) also mean ‘the boss’ or ‘the boys of super space’ showing their aim to be the most influential artist. Their average age is 17 years old, which is the youngest amongst all idol groups in Korea.

Even though they had not officially debut, their homepage had already over 40K members, showing the amount of interests they had garnered.

Meanwhile, the group released the MV teaser to their debut song ‘Tokyo Boy’ on 28th February.

Meanwhile, the full song to ‘Tokyo Boy’ will be released on 4th mMarch and they will be performing on all weekly music shows.

[News] Eunhyuk recovered. Will return Sukira on Thursday..

After diagnosed and confirmed with H1N1 virus, Super Junior Eunhyuk had to stop all his activities including his DJ-ing in Sukira. We've been informed that members Kyuhyun, Ryeowook and Sungmin have to replace him temporarily.

But scratch that. Good news, Super Junior's dancing machine almost  recovered and will start to continue all his activities including Dj-ing in Sukira. He will be also present in Super Show Shanghai.

After communication with sister site WannaBe, we were informed that Eunhyuk has almost recovered and will return to Kiss The Radio this coming Thursday, continuing all activities. He will also be able to participate in Shanghai's Super Show II.
