Although most of us are pretty big fans of the original song and haven’t let it off the repeat button, others have stepped quietly in the background to make our own special version of the song.



Yoonha Hwang is notorious YouTube-er for making piano instrumentals of legendary Kpop songs and he got straight to work on the 2pm song as soon as it came out. The man’s got serious talent and the instrumental still has much of the song presence in it that it feels like it’s the original itself.



A not so much remix but rather a slow & thaw-ed version of the song, a HOTTEST fan created a song for the sheer purpose that he/she wasn’t into the fast pace beat of the song. The version is a bit scratchy however I can more of the vocals then the original, which I LOVE.

[News]SNSD's Sooyoung, "I look like a boy, right?"

SNSD's Sooyoung, while making an appearance on 'Y star Exclusive News!' in the episode of 'Choi Sujin', her older sister, showed one by one photos of her childhood.

The photos revealed a thin, dark skin, boyish Sooyoung with short hair, which confronted with her present pure and matured image, creating a big issue.

During the broadcast, Sooyoung sent a video message to her older sister and musical actress, Choi Sujin, apologizing about not being with her because of her schedule, showing a regretful and anxious heart with her flowing tears.

Sooyoung, who is receiving a lot of love by the public with her slim body and height, is currently a MC for MBC's Fantastic Duo, making her way so that 'MCing' can be her speciality.

Also, she will show her impressive side as a singer in the upcoming December, 19th and 20th, through SNSD's first Asia Tour Concert, starting at the Seoul Olympic Stadium, Fencing Arena.

Included in the nominees list are the Korean hit drama Boys Over Flowers for the "Pop Kapamilya TV Show" award and Korean actor Lee Min Ho for his character in Boys Over Flowers, Gu Jun Pyo, for the "Pop Kapamilya TV Character" award.

It is a remarkable that the well-known Korean band – Big Bang has made into the November artist of the month in MTV Asian Takeaway. Although they were also the first KPop artist to be featured as Asian Takeaway artist of the month among any other KPop Artist.
“Big Bang, commonly stylized as BIGBANG, is a Korean boyband made up of five Korean singers – G-Dragon, Taeyang, T.O.P, Daesung and Seungri. When they first debuted, they were considered to be the new face of YG Entertainment. The group gained mainstream success with the release of "거짓말" ("Lies").”

That’s not just it, to be surprised, on the month of October this year, Big Bang also features in as the Spotlight artist and with that they have Videoscope on them – for 1 hour long.
Adding to everything, VIPs must be very happy that they made on the #06 spot 2 weeks ago and rising to #02 last week on the CH [V] Countdown.

Well it guesses that this year – nearly to an end of 2009, is the year of Big Bang. Don’t you VIPs think so?

[News] YG speaks out about Taeyang’s comeback!

Yang Hyun Suk (YG), the former member of legendary group Seo Taiji & Boys and also the big honcho at YG Entertainment, had a few comments to make about Big Bang member Taeyang's comeback.

"Following his song 'Where U At,' Taeyang will release his second digital single 'Wedding Dress' on the 13th. The track was composed by Teddy and Taeyang himself and the song will be hugely promoted until the end of the year. We also plan to release the music video on the 13th as well.

We realize that many fans have been anticipating this and that our lack of promoting 'Where U At' had everyone disappointed. We also wanted to release more teasers but we have been very busy preparing for this comeback and due to the new trend of releasing stuff online, it's not easy to simultaneously make an offline and an online debut.

Releasing a single first and then the album several months later is a sort of American concept but the one thing that is different is that we're releasing a follow up song. I'll say again that 'Where U At' was the first single and 'Wedding Dress' is the second. 'Where U At' acts as a sort of prelude to the album and will also be the first track on the album.

Right now, the massive preparation for Taeyang's solo comeback is finished. Last month we had many foreign artists help prepare not only for 'Where U At' but also for 'Wedding Dress.' Taeyang's first solo comeback since a year and a half.. .finally, tomorrow is the beginning of that. I predict that the results will be as great as the amount that we have prepared."

[news] Idols revert back to busy schedules after exams

We all look forward to our holidays after a major exam but it seems like our idols are back to work. Straight after their college entrance exam yesterday, 4Mintue’s Jeon Jiyoon and Heo Gayoon, together with BEAST’s Yong Jun Hyung, Jang Hyun Seung and Son Dong Woon performed in Mnet’s M Super Concert. This was a special concert dedicated to all the other students taking college exams.

So where did BEAST’s Lee Ki Gwang go? ^^

After the exams, he went for a special recording programme for MBC which took place all night. In order to fill in for fellow members Onew and Jong Hyun (who were down with swine flu), SHINee’s Minho had a busy day too. After dinner with his managers and friends, he went straight for a performance in Incheon.

As previously reported, popular actor Kim Bum of Boys Before Flowers, Dream and East of Eden fame is going to be releasing a single in Japan. Well, the handsome guy that many girls hold dearly to their hearts seems to be loving his time in Japan overall. Photos from his Osaka fan meeting have been posted and it looks like it's been all fun and games for Kim Bum. At least some because after all fan meeting does require some work.

In the last month the actor has also been to England besides Japan and with the year he's had from a drama and film standpoint, some of the sightseeing and leisure time he has been getting has been surely due. Rest up Kim Bum because your future is just going to continue to get brighter

If you remember a few weeks ago G-Dragon and Seungri attended the Phillip Lim Store Opening, among other famous stars, known for their fashion. TV Show ‘All About Celebrity’ went over the celebrities there and picked the Best Dressed one.

They did it by rounds, G-Dragon against Shin Hyun Joon first which G-Dragon won (4-0) then G-Dragon proceeded against Seo In Young, again G-Dragon won (4-0) and the last round was G-Dragon against Yoon Eun Hye, however G-Dragon won (3-1) with his unique and hip-hop style. It helps that two of the judges were girls & they were G-Dragon fans, they said they liked him a lot and found him very cute. At the end G-Dragon claimed the ‘Best of the Best’ style!

It's that time of the year again when Korean high school students will be taking college entrance exams and it's only fitting that After School sends out a message encouraging all of them to do well!

After School sent out words of encouragement to the high school students who will be stressing out for college entrance exams, telling them not to be nervous, to have a strong heart and to dress warmly on the day of the exam.

Later in the video, leader Gahee states the release day of their mini album to be at the end of November and to listen to their mini album to relieve the stress from studying for the exams.

It's rather cute to hear Bekah speak because they normally don't have her speak in these types of things and it's nice hearing her Korean. So good luck to all those taking college entrance exams and in the words of Bekah, "You can do it! Hwaiting!"
