[NEWS] DARA PARK and UEE will be in Family Outing
DARA from 2ne1 and UEE (YUI) visited SBS program “Family outing” on 19th and 20th Oct. and they displayed their charm. The producer of “Family outing” Jang Hyuk Jae said on NEWSEN interview “they seemed to enjoy a lot and did their best to make the program look good. Unexpectedly they were good at cooking. Though they havent experienced being on some variety shows before, they seemed have easily adjusted themselves on this show. They were so adorable.”
These two young and pretty girls were of course, very welcomed by the other family members You Jae Suk, Kim sooro, Yoon Jong Shin, Kim jong kook, ect.
Two girls called them uncles. Producer Jang mentioned that SANDARA was a fan of Lee Hyori saying there was no tension between female guests.
Interesting thing about this episode is that UEE who is better known as a sporty girl were playing games on the beach with Lee Hyori and Park Shi Yeon who are also really strong at these beach games. This episode will be airedon some day in the middle of November.

And I don't mean that derogatorily - trainee life can be long and exhausting for any idol-to-be, but having to go through the process twice can make the experience even more bittersweet. BEAST was making a buzz far before its debut due to the head-turning track record of some of the members - with guys that were considered for popular groups today like Big Bang and 2PM, who wouldn't be curious?
For those of you that don't know, leader Doo Joon starred on MNet's Hot Blood documentary, which followed the trainee days before OneDay broke onto the music scene. "I became a JYP trainee in 2007; after only three months, I starred [on the Hot Blood documentary]. Reflecting on the past, I now realize that I was arrogant to the point that I now wonder, "Why did I act like that?" Back then, I didn't have the sincere desire to succeed as a singer. I'm embarrassed of that."
Doo Joon isn't the only one that had a shot at a high-profile group - member Hyun Seung also starred on MTV's Big Bang pre-debut show, but was cut during the series. However, despite experiencing the bitter taste of failure, Hyun Seung eventually got another chance to debut with his opportunity with BEAST.
"In my third year of high school in 2004 (9th grade in US school system), I participated in YG's open casting auditions. I passed the first and second rounds and even called my parents to watch the third round because I thought I'd make it, but I was eliminated to my surprise. I was frustrated and directly went to President Yang Hyun Suk out of impulse. Looking back, I acted a bit too boldly," he reflected belatedly, which brought laughter. "He saw how earnest I was and finally accepted me as a trainee."
Hyun Seung trained for a year and four months before being considered for Big Bang and starring in the group's MTV documentary. After he was cut from the group, Hyun Seung experienced sadness and jealousy from watching Daesung, TOP and Seungri be chosen after six months as trainees. However, those days are in the past and Hyun Seung has matured.
"I think I'm better off now. It's like the irony of destiny, and have practiced and worked harder in result. Being part of YGE and Big Bang gave me good memories, and if it were not for that program, I probably wouldn't be here. Before our Inkigayo performance, I saw Jiyoung hyung (G-Dragon of Big Bang) for the first time in three years. Jiyoung greeted me and treated me so warmly that I was nearly brought to tears. Back in my trainee days, he was my closest hyung."
Furthermore, Yoseub was a previous JYPE trainee as well. However, after receiving poor results in an evaluation exercise, he decided to leave the entertainment. "After leaving, I performed weekly at an Apgujeong club. ALl of these stage experiences became my blood and skin. I'm in debt to AJ, who was my former classmate; because of him, I was able to join BEAST. In turn, I also brought another member, Hyun Seung into BEAST; we met as dancers for a show performance team, and I knew he was good."
And of course, who can forget Ki Kwang, the one member that actually debuted? Well-known as AJ, his stage name back when he was a solo artist earlier this year, Ki Kwang already kicked off his singing & acting careers with Dancing Shoes and High Kick Through the Roof, an MBC drama. However, despite his success, something was missing. "When I debuted as AJ, I was lonely. It was burdensome to be the only one on stage, and being alone for interviews was tough. With my fellow members of BEAST, I feel much better and happy. To tell the truth, the members of BEAST helped out behind stage even when I was solo artist AJ. In those times, the guys were a big source of strength; every day, I thought about how I wanted to sing together with them."
The interview also the talents of the rest of the members; although this group is still new, it's clear that they've set high goals and are determined to make a lasting mark on the kpop scene. "We'd like to receive the rookie award, and be as symbolic as a group like g.o.d. We'll work hard."
Aww, talk about pulling at the heartstrings! At least the ends justify the means - without their past efforts, who knows if Doo Joon, Hyun Seung, Yoseub and Ki Kwang would be part of BEAST today had they not undergone such experiences. Furthermore, they have 100% support from their respective ex-bandmates - with heartwarming messages from powerful idols like Big Bang's G dragon and 2PM's junho and Taecyeon, BEAST doesn't need to look at these other boy bands as competition but supportive brothers.

']]}[News] Rising Star Kim Joon to Visit Vietnam
Korean Idol Kim Joon will be make an appearance at a special music show called "Dream" at the Lau Anh Stage on October 24. After the success of Korea's Boys Over Flowers, Kim Joon gained overseas, including Vietnam, recognition as a member of the famous F4.
The singer turned actor born in 1983 will be appearing with his members from T-Max for the Korea-Vietnam collaborated concert at Lau Anh on the night of October 24th. The concert is a part of a special on the Korean Variety show "Road Show" and will be sponsor by TNHH TM& DL Vân Phong. Along with Kim Joon [And T-Max], Korean singer Park Sang Min and female group Brown Eyed Girls will also be on stage that night.
According to a representative,Trần Ngọc Dương, Kim Joon and the rest of the Korean guests will be arrive at Tân Sơn Nhất (TP HCM) International Airport at 13h30 on October 23. Afterwards, the guests will be attending a press conference regarding the show at 4PM at the New World Hotel. Trần Ngọc Dương expressed, "We organized this even with fans in mind, this concert is for young music fans who could only watch Korean artists through a TV screen. 'Dream' will act as a bridge connecting the two countries as well as invite other Korean artists to visit Vietnam in the future."
The director for the night with be Korean director Lee Hyun Jun. The show will also feature two Vietnamese singers; Mỹ Tâm and Ưng Hoàng Phúc. Mỹ Tâm will be performing her popular song "wish" and a Korean/Vietnamese duet, while Ưng Hoàng Phúc will be performing his song "Căn gác trống và Anh nhớ em."

KBS 2TV's "Dream Team Season 2 - Green Team Is Coming" (Dream Team 2) has been garnering attention before its official broadcast after it aired the first episode with a cast consisting of Shin Jung Hwan, G.O.D's Danny, Byun Woo Min, 2PM's Junho, SHINee's Minho, and Song Joong Ki.

']]}[News] Wonder Girls becomes 1st Korean group on U.S. "Top 40" rotation
Idol group the Wonder Girls may be working its magic in the United States, becoming the first Korean group to enter the rotation playlists of some of the top 40 American radio stations, according to their agency on Tuesday.
"Of the 167 'Top40 Radio Stations' located throughout major U.S. cities, their U.S. debut single 'Nobody' has entered the rotation playlists of 18 stations," said JYP Entertainment. A song which goes on the rotation list will play at least once or twice a week for a month.
JYP also said that according to an airplay analysis chart by music website Mediabase, 'Nobody' was played over 65 times by radio stations between October 12 to 18 to increase the group's airplay ranking by 16 spots from the previous week to No. 107.
"From what we've seen so far, we expect to see them enter more rotation playlists and their airplay ranking to increase," JYP explained.
The popular five-member group released their first U.S. digital single in late June and performed the opening acts for all 53 shows of the Jonas Brothers' U.S. tour. 'Nobody' is the English version of the song originally released in Korea which was a hit throughout several countries Asia.

Recently, korean Idol Kim Hyun Joong and the rest of SS501 arrived in Taiwan for the White Golden Disk Award and personal concert. When the boys arrived, Taiwanese fans filled the aiport to greet the five handsome boys, in particular Kim Hyun Joong was surrounded by a mob of fans. With the crowd gathering and the body guards trying to protect the members, the incidents suddenly turns gloomy. One fan reportedly collapsed after being pushed too had by the body guards. Fans were very angry afterwards over no one taking responsibility.

On the night of October 17, Korean Idol group SS501 help a concert at Taipei Arena as part of their Asia tour entitled "Persona Tour." This is the second time they have visited Taiwan since their overseas promotions back in earlier July.
Prior to the concert, the 5 members held a press conference at the Sherwood Hotel to preview their upcoming shows. According to the reporters attended, leader Kim Hyun Joong seem to be have lost weight since the September.
Ever since October 15, when SS501 first arrived to Taiwan, they were already gaining attention from citizens. Fans ever speculated and followed the boys in the various places they visited. Sam Chen, president of Warner Music, even personally brought the boys steamed buns and Trà sữa (milk teas). With so much anticipation, the boys worked hard to prepare for the concert even practicing until midnight the night before.
On October 16 at the press conference, President Sam Chen when handed the platinum record to SS501 said "Thanks to SS501, we have achieved optimal selling record this year. Our bonuses and holidays awarded to company staff will hopefully come from this profit."
Right after the President's speech, the boys immediately followed up "Can we go on holidays with your staff too?", "Can we go to Hawaii?".
During the conference, Park Jung Min gave fan a special performance of the song Tian Mi Mi (Sweetness). Hyun Joon then commented, "Jung Min often hides in his hotel room to concentrate/practice. I have also heard him sing other songs, I think Hyung (Anh. Older male) could probably achieve [at singing Mandarin songs] 90%." While Kyu Jong commented, "He practices very hard. In fact, every morning he would greet me in Chinese, its very surprising."
The concert was different than all prior concerts held at Taipei Arena; 50 staff members from Korea came with SS501 to Taiwan for preparation and 100 different outfits were prepared for stand by. Appearing on the colorful stage, SS501 even gave 11,000 fans chocolate. The show really did deserve a red ribbon.
SS501 performed various songs including the popular "Deja Vu", A song calling for you, Warnin and Four Chance. The concert also contained solo performances such as “Hey G”, “Never Let You Go” and “Please be nice to me”. That night, Jung Min had the opportunity to sing the song Tian Mi Mi in its' entirely. As a bonus, SS501 performed two new songs [Never performed Live anywhere elss] called, “Crazy 4 U” and "Pea Princess".
Fans particularly favored the performance of "Please be nice to me" by Leader Kim Hyun Joong. The female fans were treated to a "hot boy" image when Hyun Joong began tearing his own shirt on stage in the middle of the song.
After the success of the concert, SS501 returned to Korea were they will be releasing a new mini album called "Rebirth."
