[news] Details on SS501 Mini Album “REBIRTH”

SS501 is reborn on their new mini-album Rebirth! Since SS501’s last two albums were solo and Triple S efforts, this is actually SS501’s first group K-pop album in over one and a half years, and its delayed release due to Kim Hyun Joong’s health problems has only built up anticipation even more. All five guys are back together, and looking and sounding smoking hot on Rebirth. The mini-album comes with five tracks including the first plug “Love Like This (For You)” which the group has performed for their Asia tour. The fresh, uptempo synth-pop number was especially crafted for SS501 by Steven Lee, Drew Ryan Scott, and Sean Alexander, with Grammy Award-winning mix engineer Ken Lewis on board for the mixing.

Rebirth is being released on Normal and Limited Edition. The Limited Edition comes with a 100-page photo diary and 2 posters.

[News] f(x) will hit the runway

f(x) will be transforming into models to work the runway!

Members, Amber, Krystal, and Sulli will walk the runway at the '2010 S/S SEOUL COLLECTION' fashion show this October 18th at SETEC. They will be rocking designer Ha Sang Baek's pieces.

The famous designer himself said, "When I saw f(x)'s showcase, I got a powerful impression from the members. Amber seems like she could pull off contemporary clothes. Sulli and Krystal seem like models and have lovely faces. They go perfectly with the clothes I have for this fashion show."

Krystal is even luckier than her model members because she's modeling for designer Lee Sang Bong, whose opening MBC's Special Concert. Seems like her long legs and pretty face is getting her further than she expected.

f(x) shared their humble emotions, "Fashion shows are a first for us so we are super nervous. We'll try hard to complete our task with no mistakes. Expect a lot from us and cheer us on as well!"

The ladies have been lucky in the CF world as well, getting a deal with LG to promote a special phone.

[news] More info on SHINee’s ‘2009, Year Of Us’

The 5 member boy group, SHINee is releasing their 3rd mini-album ‘2009, Year Of Us’ on October 19 and they do have a plan to conquer this later half of the year and make it theirs.

The single, Ring Ding Dong, that was released on October 14 has been receiving alot of love from the public. Especially with the help of famous composers like Yoo Young Jin and Kenzie, the mini-album is really something to be anticipated.

The album consists of 6 tracks. SHINee is dedicating the song ‘Y.O.U. (Year Of Us)’ to their fans while ‘Jo Jo’, composed by popular composer Kenzie, is a trendy Euro-pop dance and ‘SHINee Girl’ is a fun song with Swing beats. The remaining tracks are in a variety of genres that help illuminate SHINee’s new charm.

f(x)’s Luna is joining Key and Minho in a powerful track, ‘Get Down’, while Onew has his first ever solo – a sad love song called ‘The Name That I Loved.’

After the release of the teaser video on October 15, SHINee is scheduled for their comeback stage on Music Bank on October 16 and the release of their music video on the same date. Don’t forget to keep an eye out.

[news] Kangin in DUI Accident

Super Junior member Kangin just can't seem to stay out of trouble. After promising that he would not cause any more problems, he gets slapped with a case of DUI.

At 3:10am on the 16th, an intoxicated Kangin crashed into a taxi at the junction of Nonhyun and Hakdong in Gangnam, Seoul, and then abandoned his car before running away.

There were two passengers along with the cab driver involved in the accident although it was fortunate that no one suffered any major injuries.

Although Kangin had abandoned the scene of the accident, he turned himself in at the Gangnam police station at 8:50am. It was reported that his BAC level was at 0.082%, but that was 6 hours after the accident so it's not an accurate reflection of his intoxication.

A representative from the police station stated:
"We can take into consideration the fact that Kangin has confessed, even though it was some time after the incident. However, since he had fled the scene after the accident, we have to consider it as a hit and run. We will release more information in the afternoon."

[news] Run Releases "Face Off" Debut Mini Album

Solo debutant Run's "Face Off" Mini Album has been released!

In an introductory teaser that was released on October 12, LOEN Entertainment's new solo artist Run, (formerly E-bul from OPPA - Onni Potenza Per Avanzare), was discovered to already have a fan-base of many celebrities such as girl group After School, soloist Baek Ji Young, IU, and actress Kim Mi Yeon who all raved about Run's unbelievable talent. The same day, Run also released an MV teaser for his title song "Sexy Luv" which built up hype amongst many K-pop fans due to its mysterious atmosphere. Now the wait is finally over - Run's "Face Off" mini album has been released! It contains six tracks, one which features IU. All of the tracks sound pretty nice so check it out later! The photos of the new Tony Moly CF have been released and gained people’s interest as they see their beloved kkotnam (flower boy) does some intimate pose with this S line model in the photos.

Tony Moly Rep,” The shooting was done last week in a studio at Gangnam-Seoul.”
Kim Hyunjoong was doing the 2nd half CF shooting for the cosmetic brand and has got his fan’s curiosity as the photos from the recent filming unveiled to the public.
Tony Moly Rep,” The shooting went all day from morning until late at night. Though Kim Hyunjoong seemed tired and all, he successfully finished the shooting without any NGs. Meanwhile, from the new Tony Moly CF you can expect a stronger image from him as well as his new looks.”

As promised after a few days ago the other two member's concept photo's were released and now the second back completing the group's concept photo's are released. SS501 which have been on hiatus for 1 year and 5 months in the industry and having their Persona asian tour will be coming back with a new and fresher style to offer to their fans.

As the previous photo's for Park Jung Min and Kim Hyung Joon, the rest of the band members are also donning the darker side with smokey make up, darker clothes and more mature, compared to their image back then.

Aside from the release of their Comeback Album: Rebirth they will also be releasing a special-edition album where it consists of a hundred page book filled with their diary entries, posters and photo's from pictorials. This special-edition album will be released 2 days shy from the release of their comeback album; it will be released on the 20th and comeback album on the 22nd. SS501, despite comebacks and debuts of other boy bands prove they are still a hot topic with special-edition album rocking 30,000 pre orders.

[news] Shin Hye sung fined for gambling

Shin Hye Sung has been found guilty of excessive gambling.

Talented vocal of Shinhwa was fined W10mil ($8,600) by the judge for his crime.

From July 2007 to April 2008, Shin visited Macau 5 times and spent about W140mil ($120k) in baccarat games. We haven't seen him on screen for a while, and it appears that we won't be seeing him nor a full Shinhwa in the near future.

Big Bang will be releasing their third single titled, “Let Me Hear Your Voice” (Koe Wo Kikasete), on November 4th in Japan. But don’t fret VIPs - you don’t have to wait that long, because a short preview has been released!

Rumors were also reported about their new single being the theme song for the upcoming Japanese drama, Ohitorisama. Although many sources online claim that Big Bang’s upcoming track will be the theme song, according to TBS’ official site, it states that the theme song will be “Am I Fallin' in Love?” by Kitaguchi Kazusa. Perhaps it will be no the OST? Bad news aside, I’m sure many VIPs will be happy since it sounds like Big Bang has gotten rid of the autotune (judging from the preview)!

[news] Gavy NJ’s Jang Hye Young Selca with Kimura Takuya

Gavy NJ's Jang Hye Young has grabbed netizens' attention recently by uploading a picture of her and Japanese star Kimura Takuya, on her minihompy.

On the 9th, Jang Hye Young had updated her homepage with pictures from the 'I Come With The Rain' private party which took place in Pusan. Kimura Takuya had attended the 2009 Pusan International Film Festival to promote his movie, which co-stars Lee Byung Hun and Josh Hartnett.

Along with the picture, she wrote, "This is Kimura, who is famous for not taking pictures with people. He even gave me a talisman!" and "I lost it, ack!"

She also added, "I would've fainted if it was Nino." (Nino is the nickname for Kazunari Ninomiya of Arashi from Johnny's Entertainment)

Along with these photos came comments saying, "The caption is very cute," "I'm jealous of Jang Hye Young", "The two look really close."

Jo Kwon appeared on MBC's Sebakwi on October 24th and expressed his feelings with the guests.

That day, Jo Kwon revealed that "he had not yet been in a relationship." MC Lee Hwijae questioned him, asking "Did you never have the chance?" in which Jo Kwon replied with "I had a lot of chances but I knew that I would get into a lot of trouble with JYP so I didn't pursue them."
