[News] Park JinYoung is not yet divorced on legal terms

Following news that singer producer Park JinYoung has recently divorced, it has been known that on legal terms he is still not yet divorced but he is seeing to the relevant legal actions to process the divorce.

A JYP Ent rep said on 16th March, “Park Jin Young is currently seeing to the paperwork for his divorce, he will come out to announce again once everything is settled legally.”

Ending the marriage after 10 years, Park Jin Young wrote on JYP Entertainment’s official homepage in March, “I have been with my first love for 16 years since I met her at 20. We started to grow distant a few years back. After a few years of worrying and wandering, we decided to part in the end. “

Park JinYoung married his girlfriend Seo YoonJung in 1999. They met during their 4th academic year at college and dated for 6 years before they got married.

[News] Park Jinyoung's Critiques Made Wooyoung Cry

2PM's Wooyoung revealed an experience where he cried due to Park Jinyoung's harsh critiques.

The members of 2PM will be making their first talk show debut on KBS 2TV's 'Win Win.' 2PM revealed the stories of how they came to who they are today, their tears, their efforts, and their laughter.

Before their debut, 2PM had received the track 'Only You' from producer Park Jinyoung. The members of 2PM suffered while practicing this track. Especially Wooyoung, he had cried because of how hard it was.

Wooyoung stated, "I tried so hard night and day but in Park Jinyoung's strict eyes, it wasn't enough. Eventually, I had to get yelled at every day from Monday to the weekends."

He went on to state, "I was in the training room by myself on the piano trying to match up the notes. All of a sudden, my emotions came swelling up inside of me and I ended up crying."

The members added their own stories, saying, "In order to help him feel better, we bought him ice cream. He would accept the ice cream and return to his normal self, as if he had never cried at all."

Lead vocals Junsu and Junho stated that Nichkhun had grown the most talent wise and sang a short piece to Nichkhun's piano performance.

[News] Democratic Party Failed To Recruit Park Jin Young

It has been known that Democratic Party has failed to get JYP Entertainment representative cum idol group producer Park Jin Young to sign up for the party even though the party has been promoting him to do so.

According to YTN on 25th January, Kim HyoSeok Democratic Party policy research institute has established an affiliation ‘Youth Institute’, and through the recommendations from officials in the music industry, Park Jin Young was promoted to join the party. But after considering the offer, he eventually did not sign up for it.

Meanwhile, Park Jin Young is currently known as the producer of idol groups like WonderGirls, 2PM and 2AM after he promoted as a singer himself in the 1990s.

And recently he released a new album ‘Sad Freedom’ after 2 years.

[News] Jo Kwon Received Congratulation Wishes From Park Jin Young

2AM Jo Kwon reveals that he has received congratulation wishes from Park JinYoung for winning #1 on KBS Music K Chart on 15th January.

Jo Kwon and Brown Eyed Girls GaIn’s duet ‘We Fell In Love’ has gone up to the #1 spot on KChart on 15th January.

This is the first time Jo Kwon has won #1 on the music chart since his debut as 2AM. But it was shame that the 2 were not present on the show to receive over their trophy.

Jo Kwon said on his me2day, “Ah really, didn’t expected it. Winning #1.. Really cannot believe it. Sincerely thankful!”

He also wrote, “I was with JinYoung hyung having dinner when calls and messages started coming in, and I found out I have won #1. I was so excited and wanted to shout out in happiness, but I was in front of JinYoung hyung so I didn’t. JinYoung also said congratulations and that he likes it. Feels good. 2AM’s album this time will be daebak!!!!”

2AM revealed a teaser to their comeback (D-5) on 15th January.

First National JYP Tour Concert is a success with 2AM·2PM's Support'

Singer Park Jinyoung has finished off the end of the year with a very successful performance.
On the 19-20th, Park Jinyoung's agency, JYP Entertainment or rather himself has held a national tour 'Bad Party' at the Samsan World Sports Stadium - having successful results.

A side from JYPE said that "Singers 2AM·2PM and Joo had all participated in the concert as guests," adding, "Park Jin-young has presented an even more upgraded performance than last year's tour with exciting music for the audience and making one of the best 'rule-breaking' stages".

[News] Park Jin Young confesses, “WonderGirls and I don’t play around well these days”

Producer singer Park Jin Young (37) talks about the WonderGirls members going into adolescence period.

He was on MBC FM4U ‘Kim BumSoo’s Dream Radio’ on 11th December when he said, “Like how people would normally not play (have fun) with their parents as much after they enters adolescence, it is the same case for the WonderGirls, we don’t play around as much anymore.”

Also on the show, Park Jin Young sent out text messages to the singers under him the message ‘Who am I to you?’. And 2AM Jo Kwon answered ‘An existence close to god’, Kim TaeWoo replied ‘The father of my life’, Son HoYoung replied ‘My ideal type’. 2PM Nich Khun also gave a cute answer ‘The teacher who likes the rice cake I bought’.

Park Jin Young also revealed on the show, “I like to work with people whom I like rather than sings well.” And these people are G.O.D, WonderGirls, 2AM and 2PM.
