Hello viewers of You're Beautiful, I'm Jang Geun Suk playing Hwang Taekyung.
I usually only leave one message on the message boards per drama I film so this is the first time I've left 2 messages on any official message board ^^
Actually I decided to leave this message during my short break during filming in Ilsan today

I'm writing to express my infinite gratitude and apologies regarding the AN Jell mini concert yesterday
(As part of the staff, I heard that there were many complaints about the concert so I went online to see what the fuss was about and got a shock)

Does everyone know that You're Beautiful is still running on the same tight filming schedule as it was from the very beginning?
This is going to be an especially tiring week for me since I've got many scenes in the last 2 episodes T_T (I appear in nearly every scene..)
Thats why we didn't have time to meticulously prepare for such a large scale concert like yesterday's

Far more people than expected turned up at the concert venue (I heard that about 2500 people turned out?)
The staff were getting flustered and we, AN Jell were really surprised.
We should have planned more thoroughly for the sake of everyone's safety and I apologize on behalf of the staff and AN Jell for not doing so

When I found out about the problems regarding filming and entrance to the concert venue, I felt pretty bad.
Since everyone's safety was more important than anything else, on the day of the concert, I wasn't in the waiting room but looking at the audience seats.
Thank goodness there wasn't any accidents but I'm still feeling bad about those incidents...

But thank to the love and support everyone showed us yesterday, the drama managed to wrap up beautifully. So far that I'm pleased

Anyway!
We finished shooting at 6AM today and we've moved back to Ilsan to continue filming
I'll do my best to the very end to show everyone a good ending ^^

Ah yes, I'm going to digress a bit now...
I want to let everyone know about a little episode that took place yesterday in the AN Jell waiting room...

While we were sharing the supper our fans brought after the concert, the topic of 'shall we continue being AN Jell after filming wraps up?'came up.

(I was the one that came up with such a great line Keke)

Everyone's eyes were shining as they were all shouting "AH! That's good! Lets be a real band!"...
Hongki suddenly said HYUNG! But its impossible cause you charge such high fees!! (I don't know where he heard it from but he really believed that rumour..)

But if we were to prepare a real concert as a band....it'll be really exciting...
Where shall we turn to for help? ^^

[news]A.N.JELL holds its last concert

As previously announced, the cast of SBS’s You’re Beautiful held another mini-concert on November 23, where footage was shot for the drama’s final episode, which airs this Thursday.

The mini-concert was held at Seoul’s Melon AX Hall at 6pm and featured all four of its main cast members — Jang Geun-seok, Park Shin-hye, Lee Hong-ki, Jung Yong-hwa — who make up the fictional idol band A.N.JELL in the show. Even with only a few days’ notice, a crowd of more than 2,500 fans showed up.

A source with the production company explained, “The first concert happened before the drama began airing, and I was shocked by fans who showed up through word of mouth. But this ending concert doesn’t even compare to that in how much the fans cheered, which made me feel the enthusiasm for the drama for real. The actors and production team were spurred by that as they continue filming.”

Naturally, the concert featured the songs that have been prominently featured in the drama, which were sung by the actors themselves. Those included A.N.JELL’s “Promise” and “Still”; Jang Geun-seok also sang a few solos with “Good Bye” and “What Do I Do,” the latter of which is the track Tae-kyung remakes for his mother in the drama. Park Shin-hye sang her character’s theme song, “Lovely Day.”

Jang said, “Now that You’re Beautiful is ending, I feel really sad. SBS is wondering if they should seriously consider making a Season 2. Because we were scheduled against such a huge drama [IRIS], there was a lot of talk about us being doomed to die in the timeslot, but the fact that we stayed alive is the power of you all.”

After everything had ended, Jang said, “Thank you for coming to our final episode shoot. Thanks to you, I’m very happy.” Park Shin-hye said, “Thanks to You’re Beautiful, I’ve gained so much.” Lee Hong-ki concluded by saying, “In the future, we won’t be acting just as A.N.JELL anymore but as individuals, so please keep watching for us. Later on, I’ll set up my own agency and produce A.N.JELL myself.”

Meanwhile, the soundtrack continues to be a hit. Last month, it had sold more than 20,000 albums within its first week, which is an unusually high number for a soundtrack. Well, it has continued to perform strongly and has now sold more than 30,000 units total.

[News]Jang Geun Suk in Okinawa Japan, invited fans as extras

Jang Geun Suk who acted as the role of the leader in the Korean TV drama ‘You’re Beautiful’ flew to Okinawa, Japan to shoot an autograph scene in drama.

This scene invited 300 fans from China, Taiwan and Japans to act as extras in the drama. The whole scene was full of lively atmosphere.

Jang Geun Suk said after the drama has finish broadcast, they plan to thank the fans by holding a fans gathering in Tokyo.
