Super Junior has proven its popularity as they have sold the most albums in the year 2009.
SM Entertainment stated that on the 7th, Super Junior’s 3rd album “SORRY, SORRY” sales has exceeded 250,000 mark.
Since the release of the album, March 12, they made a record of 135,269 online sales, 115,404 offline sales, totaling to a number of 250,673.
This has attracted a lot attentions, in particular the fact that they have broken their own records in the album selling history (the 2nd album has sold approximately 190,000 copies in 2007). 3jib album title song “SORRY, SORRY” and the next song “It’s You” are a big success which explains the large number of sales.
Not only in Korea, as soon as it was released, the album has made its way to number one in charts and is well-received in China, Taiwan, Philippines, Thailand and other Asian countries.
