Hankyung emerged as one of the top ten on the list of best newcomers in China.
“The 3rd Tianxia Yingcai China 100 Best Newcomer Public Image Satisfaction Survey” is drawn up based on five criteria – moral cultivation, professionalism, public service, society influence and commercial value. The organisers explained that, in order to ensure the fairness of the list, nominated celebrities all received recommendations by professionals and the sample survey of statistics covered the greatest number of social classes possible to obtain the opinions of most in the social mainstream.
Hankyung, who made his debut in Korea, has gained much popularity after only a few appearances in China and clinched the fourth spot. Many are unable to imagine Hankyung’s popularity in China, which undoubtedly exceeds that of super stars such as Andy Lau and Jay Chou. Although Hankyung also owes his success in China to his company, it is mostly a result of his hard work. Before he became famous, he had to endure hardships which most people will never get to experience. Having finally achieved success after his hard times is a reward for his past efforts.
