2NE1’s youngest members, Minzy and CL performed their duet stage for their song, “Please Don’t Go” in the recently concluded MAMA Awards Ceremony.
2NE1 performed the 21st Street Musical, for I Don’t Care, in a theatre musical version. The acts included Please Don’t Go, the duo’s solo single, which they introduced the day before.
“Please Don’t Go” has YG”s main producer, Teddy working on the cheerful melody, mixed with a strong feeling of hip-hop dance. CL and Minzy performed a powerful rap performance, and with their cheerfulness and liveliness on stage, they made a very powerful duet.
Their single has already beaten their fellow 2NE1 member, Park Bom, and her single, “You and I” on the Monkey 3 charts for the number one spot, although 2PM’s single is also rising up in the charts as well.
Park Bom, CL, and Minzy’s solo singles are expected to keep 2NE1 fans satisfied, and will continue to promote in behalf of the group who is in hiatus for their preparation of their solo album.
