[NEWS] SNSD Yuri most suitable to become figure-skater

The Korea public's are concerned about their national star "Kim YunA" whether she will be able to grab Gold medal in coming "Vancouver winter Olympic" which to be held on 12th Feb.
In mean time, a survey title "the female celebrity most suitable to be figure-skater" has garnered much attention amongst public.

The 'Monkey 3' music portal site had conducted the survey during 22th till 28th January, the result showed that SNSD's 'Yuri' had been voted as #1.
Yuri had been obtained 578 out of 2182 votes which nearly 26% of total votes, the reason was Yuri has best S-line and possesses yoga like body flexibility as well as good dancing ability.

2nd place went to 2NE1 'Park Sandara' with 537 votes (25%) out of total and the 3rd place goes to f(x) 'Sulli' with 362 votes (17%) out of total. Next, fourth went to T-ara 'Jiyeon' who also starred for KBS 'God of study.

I couldn't agree more to the votes.

[NEWS] 2AM’s no-show on Music Core for 3 weeks, MBC “There is no discord”

Much attention has been brought to the rumoured discord between 4-member vocal 2AM and MBC Music Core.

This is because 2AM had not appeared on Music Core and performed their new song ‘Even if I die, I will not let you go’ for even once. In addition, for the show coming 6th February, 2AM will also not be performing. With that, 2AM has yet to perform on the show even though it has been 3 weeks since they released their new album.

Usually, Kpop singers will appear on all 3 weekly music shows KBS Music Bank, MBC Music Core and SBS Inkigayo to promote their songs. And for 2AM, they released their new album on 21st January and from pre-release to after-release currently the song is doing very well up on music charts.


So far, 2AM has appeared on KBS Music Bank to perform twice (22nd and 29th January), and 2 times on SBS Inkigayo (24th and 31st January). And coming 5th and 7th February, there are plans for them to perform on the 2 shows.

But with their continual no-show on Music Core, there has been rumours about disagreement between 2AM and MBC.

And many point decision for 2AM leader Jo Kwon to appear on SBS Family Outing 2 as the possible root of this discord. Jo Kwon has been quite prominent in the variety show zone with his funny appearance on MBC We Got Married and SaeGaKwi, which even earned him the nickname of ‘Kkap Kwon’.

MBC felt that they have given him much opportunities in this area, and now they are feeling unhappy that Jo Kwon will be appearing on the variety show of the competitor broadcast company.

MBC side revealed, “Especially since he was decided as the fixed appearance on We Got Married, normally they would refrain from doing fixed show appearance on shows by other companies. With this, MBC is feeling a little unhappy with 2AM’s company about it. With that you can see that 2AM did not appear on MBC Music Core. But that being said, we felt that 2AM’s side was being unfair in some aspects too.”

But their stand is that there is no discord with 2AM. The show team official said during an interview on 3rd Feb, “This is ridiculous. There is definitely no discord with 2AM’s company. The 2AM members are still appearing on other MBC programmes. 2AM like any other singers, will be able to perform on MBC Music Core.” during their recently interview.

2AM’s side also said on 4th February, “There is no discord with MBC.”

[NEWS] Japanese actor Hiroshi Tamaki, “BIG BANG and DBSK are cool, I want to work here in Korea”!

Tamaki Hiroshi aka Chiaki Shinichi from Nodame Cantabile (SeungRi’s fav Japanese Drama) talked about BIGBANG, TVXQ, BoA and K-Pop on his recent visit in Seoul that “BIGBANG and Tohoshinki are cool. I want to work here in Korea.” and “I think it’s great that they are having the activities in Japan. Since there aren’t so many Japanese artists have performed in Korea, I hope I can do that in my upcoming concert.”

Tamaki was in Seoul on 29- 31 January, 2010 to promote “Tamaki Hiroshi Live Tour 2009-2010 Alive in Seoul” which will be held in Korea in March 2010. He’s got a large fanbase in Korea and I guess that SeungRi’s one of them?!

[News] U-Kiss Kevin & Dongho graduate

The season of graduation has started. The age of idol group members are gradually becoming younger, and this trend is reflected by the number of members graduating this year.

SHINee's Minho will graduate from Konkook University's affiliated high school and enter the University on the 10th. After taking the college admissions test last year, he was admitted to the 2010 year of Konkuk's part-time admittance as an Arts & Culture Film major.

On the same day, SHINee's Key will graduate from Daegu Youngshin High School. Key did not take the College entrance examinations last year. He will put his study plans on hold and concentrate on his group's activities.

SNSD's Seohyun graduates from Jeonju Arts High School on the 9th. She is also expected to attend her graduation ceremony. Seohyun has been admitted into Dongkook University's batch of 2010.

Sulli from f(x) will graduate from Chungdam Middle School on the 5th. However, attending High School seems to be difficult for her due to her busy schedules, according to SM Entertainment.

Jung Jin Woon from 2AM graduates from Baekam High School and has been accepted into Daejin University studying theatre and arts.

U-Kiss' maknae Dongho will graduate from Yonggang Middle School on the 10th. Dongho has been awarded a scholarship to Hanrim Arts High School.

Another member from U-Kiss, Kevin, will also receive his high school diploma on the 7th. Kevin, who was studying overseas when he came to Korea, completed his studies at Gyongdong Broadcasting and Communications High School. He has plans to further his studies next year.

Beast's maknae Son Dong Woon graduates on the 4th. He will focus on his activities as Beast and continue his studies next year.

Kwon Sohyun from 4minute graduates on the 11th.
