[NEWS] T-ara's Hyomin "I want to be closer with SNSD's Sunny"!

A member of T-ara, Hyomin, said that she would like to be closer with SNSD's Sunny.

Hyomin revealed her hopes for new years on an upcoming KBS2 'Invincible Youth' episode, which will be aired on the 15th. Hyomin said, "This year, I would like to avoid being edited out completely. Also, I would like to be closer with Sunny".

"As long as I'm with Sunny, I'll get more air time", said Hyomin. It snowed so much that it was up to one's knee. So Hyomin followed Sunny everywhere.

When Kim Shinyoung saw this, she joked, "From now on, then we should call Hyomin 'Sunbyung' [a pun of Sunny+folding screen]", and people laughed.

Then Han Sunhwa added, "I improved a lot because I was with Sunny; you can model her and learn a lot".

Meanwhile, 'Invincible' team went out to shovel the snow in Hongchun, Kangwondo because it snowed over 30cm (more than 1ft).

Two days prior to the filming schedule, it has been snowing in Honchung. With fifty soldiers, the 'Invincible' team went there to shovel the snow on ginseng fields and roads in the vicinity of the church. It took a total of four hours to shovel over 2 000 pyong [approx. 71,170.975 675 sq ft].

[NEWS] Song Hye Gyo & Kang Dong Won for “Busan Project”

Several of South Korea’s top actors including actress Song Hye-kyo and actor Gang Dong-won have been cast in a multinational omnibus film by directors from Korea, Japan and Thailand, according to the film’s production company on Tuesday.

BAL CON announced in a statement that the film, tentatively titled “Busan Project,” will be composed of three episodes each set in the past, present and future of the city of Busan in Korea.


Based in Korea during the 1970s, the first segment, titled “Iron Pussy,” will be directed by Thailand’s Wisit Sasanatieng and star Korean actor Kim Min-jun and Thai-American actor Michael Shaowanasai. Shawananasai will play the role of a male secret agent from Thailand in disguise of a woman who later falls in love with an unidentifiable Korean man, played by Kim.

Korean actor Sul Kyung-gu and Japan’s Yositaka Yuriko will appear in the second segment set in modern day Korea. A film director and a young woman fall into a love that transcends time and space in the pic named “Kamome” by Japanese director Yukisada Isao.

The final episode, set in the near future, will be helmed by Korean director Jang Joon-hwan. In the film titled “Love for Sale,” Song and Gang will play lovers who forget their memories about each other which later leads them to a fatal destiny.

Filming for the episodes will take place for about a month starting mid-January starting with “Love for Sale.” Creators of the film plan to submit the pic to the Cannes film festival this year.

Kim has been a popular actor in Korea since his debut in 2003. He has appeared in several TV series and films including his most recent drama “Friend, Our Legend” alongside Hallyu star Hyun Bin.

Sul is a critically-acclaimed actor who has numerous awards under his belt including the title for best actor at the Grand Bell Awards, Golden Needle Space Awards and Bratislava International Film Festival. He made headlines last year after marrying top Korean actress Song Yuna.

Actress Song Hye-kyo shot to fame in hit KBS TV series “Autumn Fairy Tale” co-starring Hallyu stars Won Bin and Song Seung-hun, gaining increasing popularity throughout Asia with her roles in several successful TV shows thereafter including “All In” opposite Lee Byung-hun and “Full House” alongside Asian pop sensation Rain.

Gang has been considered one of Korea’s top heartthrobs since his appearance in film “Romance of their Own” in 2004. He most recently starred in “WOOCHI” which has been faring well on the currently Hollywood pic-dominated domestic box office. The film set a record for attracting the most number of viewers on its opening day and has maintained its position at No.2 after “Avatar” since its release in late December.

[NEWS] Suju's Kangin charged with 8000000 won for drunk hit and run !

Super Junior's Kangin (Real Name: Kim Young Woon) has been charged with 8000000 won (~$7000 USD) for his drunk hit and drive.

The Seoul Central District Public Court came to a decision near the end of last December that Kangin will be charged with 8000000 won (~$7000 USD) regarding his flee after driving under the influence last October 16th.


The prosecuting attorny came to the decision to fine Kangin and decided against sending him to prison- for now.

Kangin drove under the influence of alcohol last October 16th at 3:10AM at an intersection on Nonhyeondong in the Seoul Kangnam district and crashed into a parked taxi.

Kangin was also involved in an assault incident last September 16th when he was drinking at a bar with a friend in Nonhyeondong in Seoul Kangnam district (same location wot) and broke out in a fight against two others and was investigated by the police.

Kangin's activities are currently on hiatus after these two incidents.

Big Bang talked about their "Big Bang Breakup Text Incident" on January 12's "Strong Heart."

Daesung first revealed, "When Big Bang discovers a new way to prank, they do that same prank for 2 months. Taeyang changed his number and first decided to prank us with text messages."

He continued, "Taeyang first wrote as 2NE1 Minzy saying 'Oppa! I love you.' I was worried over how to let her down easy without hurting her but then the next day Taeyang revealed that it was his prank."

Then, a message posing as YG head Yang Hyun Suk came saying "There is no more Big Bang." The members all gathered and confirmed that it was none of their own pranking, and then went to go see Yang Hyun Suk.

Big Bang asked him, "What did we do wrong for you to say that we're going to break up?" Yang Hyun Suk replied surprised, "What breakup?" After he found out about the origin of them pranking each other, he rebuked the members for doing such extreme pranking.

MC Kang Ho Dong asked, "Did you ever find the sender of that text?" Daesung replied, "It's still a mystery."

In Idol Army season 5, MBLAQ’s ace Lee Joon falls into a trap of a hidden camera which made him cry.

MBLAQ did a parody of the drama “Queen Seon Deok”, the concept was to complete missions given to them (while doing the parody).

This filming was a hidden camera set up for Lee Joon to fall into the trick he wouldn’t have expected.

While completing the missions, like hitting some special hard gourd with the head, and shooting arrows using the feet and etc, Lee Joon went through all the difficulties without a single word of complain.

However, it all started when he received cold comments from the members he trusted. Whenever they failed at the mission they would find fault at Lee Joon, making the atmosphere very cold. To bottle up his feelings, Lee Joon would keep going to the back of the stage alone and just stare blankly at the script.

Eventually, leader Seunho made comments like “That’s not the way to do it”, making Joon really upset. In the very cold atmosphere, Lee Joon barely had to straighten out his feelings and continue with the filming.

Finally when the members revealed that it was a hidden camera, like a girl, Joon’s tears came rolling down as he lie above Thunder’s knee.

‘God of Study’ (Starring Yoo Seung Ho & Kim Soo Ro) has already exceeded the rating of more than 20% on the third episode which was broadcast on 11 January.

According to the TNS Media on 12 Jan, ‘God of Study’ has already reached a rating of 23.1% on the previous night. The drama ratings was much ahead of the other dramas which was broadcast on the same time - SBS Korean TV drama ‘Jejungwon’(12.5%) and MBC Korean TV drama ‘Pasta’ (11.9%)

[News] 2PM's Heartbeat Was Actually 7 Members?

This was a fan account, I got from 2PM’s thread in Soompi – posted by 0oyukisuo0. A translated article maybe, I’m not sure. But it’s a good account on what could’ve been a 7 membered 2PM, dancing and singing to heartbeat.

“Today, I saw the video of a 7-membered Heartbeat.

( This video was shown to me by an acquaintance I know that works for their company [JYPE]. You will not be able to find it anywhere as it was shown to me through his cell phone. I told him that I was a fan of 2PM and showed it. He refused to send it. The reason I’m explaining this is in case people try to find the particular video. )

The song itself was entirely sung by JYP at the time.
The choreography is exactly the same as now. In the chorus, Wooyoung’s part is actually Jaebum’s.
The ‘Listen to my heartbeat’ was danced by Jaebum.
It amazed me that the choreography was exactly the same as now except there was no pyramid part.
The last couple parts were a bit different and Jaebum did the ending.
The whole time I was watching, my heart was beating fast and I was shaking. I can’t explain the feeling in words.
I did hear that the controversy exploded after the completed recordings. I had no idea that he had already practiced the choreography to this extent.
I wondered… what happened to him when he was working so hard for his first album.
It’s upsetting to know that Jaebum had to let go of everything he worked for.
And for Wooyoung to take over Jaebum’s part… how much pressure must he have felt?
There were a lot of thoughts running through my head as I watched it.
