After Sandara Park’s ‘Kiss’ and Park Bom’s ‘You And I’, 2NE1 member CL and Gong MinJi’s new song ‘Please Don’t Go’ goes up to #1 on online music charts.

This is according to music site Monkey3, where the song has gone up to #1 on the weekly chart for the 4th week of November, beating 2PM’s comeback song ‘Heartbeat’.

With all members going up to the #1 spot with their solo hits, the group receives as much love from fans whether it is their solo songs or group songs.

[News] Wonder Girls Release of Mandarin "Nobody" Next Year

Wonder Girls created a “Nobody” miracle

In Korea, “Tell Me” became a hit single and the Wonder Girls had received the title of “Nation Little Sisters”, there is no doubt about their success. With 2 years of debut, the girls had released a total of 4 singles & 1 full length album, even though the amount of albums & single released wasn’t that “big”, the results were significant. Every single became a “phenomenon”. From “Irony” to “Tell Me” & “So Hot”, Wonder Girls had received numerous of achievements & applauses. This had not only lead Korea went into a craze but the whole world, not forgetting the latest hit “Nobody”. A catchy song with simple & retro-ish dance moves, the hit single received lots of attention since their release in September, 2008. A huge number of parody could be seen on various online video streaming websites, & this is a legend whom only the Wonder Girls who can create.

Following with the interview segment, 5 members of the Wonder Girls also explained the reason for why “Nobody” was being so popular. Leader Sunye said:”Firstly, its the retro outfits & fashion that we use, & indeed it received a lot of attention from people. It brings back a lot of memories to people who had live in the early 60s & 70s, while to us, a younger generation, it was really creative & was a fresh idea as well. Secondly, the retro microphone stands we used was also one of the highlights, once “they” are placed on stage, audience below would definitely go crazy about it; & of course, the most simple reason was, the use of easy dance moves. We are very honored to have lots of people who likes to dance, dancing along to our song.”

Special Solo Performances At The Concert

The Wonder Girls sees this first very solo concert in China with great importance. Privately, they are trying to catch up with their mandarin, of course results could be seen. During the press conference these girls used mandarin to greet the local media, & introduced themselves. Although Chinese was difficult, but it doesn’t affect the members at all. From Sunye(Sun)’s perfect answer in chinese, we could tell about their sincerity. Member Ye Eun(Yenny)’s level of understanding mandarin was way better than expected, at times, she didn’t have to get the translator to understand what the local reporters are speaking & passes the information to other members. Reporters that were present, were pretty amazed by it. When asked about having any special performances for the china fans, Wonder Girls expressed that, there was an intention of performing the Chinese version of “Nobody” at the concert. However, it was known that the original Korean version was still the favorite of most people, & hence they decided to replace it by performing other Chinese songs, and it will be a great performance as well. On the other hand, the members will have solo performances each, all for the China fans. Please stay tune towards December 1st, Shanghai Grand Stage.

To Release “Nobody” Chinese Version Next Year, Still Focusing On Foreign Market.

After Korea, US, & Thailand, China is the 4th stop of this Asia tour. Even though it has been a long period of time in between these concerts, the girls guranteed that it will still be pretty good as well. & after all these concerts, Wonder Girls expressed that there are no plans for them to return to Korea’s music industry as of yet. They will still be focusing on foreign markets. Although their hit single “Nobody” had topped US’ Billboard top100, and received a result since 30 years. However, these girls aren’t contended with it yet, hoping to achieve a better result & performances to report to us(fans.etc). Of course, besides the US, China is one of their favourite country. The girls fall in love with Shanghai even though its their first visit. Given the chance, the girls would love to hold a concert in other areas of China besides Shanghai. & the key-point is, “Nobody” Chinese version would officially be released next year, please anticipate it.

Lastly, the Wonder Girls announced:”2009 December 1st, will officially open another new era for the Wonder Girls!” Please get ready to enjoy a wonderful moment with them at the concert.

a music portal site box’s research was ‘A star that you want to be with on the first snowing day’ which started on 16th to 23rd and 4063 people voted.
Taemin has been voted 1st as the fans demanded ‘SHINee’s Taemin-“want to be with kind Taemin who suits with snow really well.” And “if I’m with Taemin on the first snowing day, I would do anything for him.”

The 30th November, at 1.00 PM, T-Ara's MV 'Bo Peep Bo Peep' have been ranked first on GOMTV while 'Like the Beginning' is currently ranked second. The un-censored version of 'Bo Peep Bo Peep' is currently on 4th position.

On 27th November T-Ara MV teaser of 'Bo Peep Bo Peep' have been released to the public . Now, with the release of two MV version, one for 15 years old and another for people aged of 19 have gathered the attention of the public.

[News] Six-member 2PM tops Korean music charts

Korean boy band 2PM topped Korea's music charts with their new single "HeartBeat" over the weekend.

The group took the No. 1 title on KBS music show "Music Bank", which aired on Friday, and won the Mutizen Song two days later on SBS's "Inkigayo Live", beating out other contenders such as 2NE1, Brown Eyed Girls, K. Will, Park Bom, SS501, Taeyang and U-Kiss.

"Jae-beom, thank you." the group said in their acceptance speech. "We would like thank our family at the agency and the fans."

This is their first win since the group's former leader Jae-beom's departure from the band in early September over controversial comments he made about Korea on his MySpace account before his debut.

"HeartBeat", the title song from their first album, was written by their producer Park Jin-young, also founder and CEO of their agency JYP Entertainment.

Sunday's "Inkigayo" also featured a special remix version of SHINee's hit single "Ring Ding Dong", which topped the charts for the past three weeks, and a comeback performance of girl band After School, who sang "Because of You" and "When I Fall".

[News] SS501 to focus on overseas activities

Five-member idol group SS501 will wrap up their activities in Korea this week and focus more on working overseas, according to their agency on Monday.

The band, currently promoting their latest single "Love Like This" from their mini-album "REBIRTH", will go abroad for a while after completing their schedules up till the end of this week, DSP Media said in a press release.

The boy band was well-received in Asia this year, particularly in countries such as Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia and China, and plan to carry out more promotional work in such markets to build a stronger fan base, DSP explained.

The quintet debuted in 2005 with single "Warning" and have been active in Korea and Japan, releasing numerous albums both as a group and also pursuing individual careers such as acting and appearing in variety shows.

The group made a comeback to the music scene last month with their second mini-album "REBIRTH" which topped various music charts.

They are scheduled to perform at Hong Kong's Expo Arena on December 12 as part of their ongoing Asia tour.

[News] Shindong On Korea’s Celebrity Snowboarding Team: “Star Riders”

On the 28th of November, celebrity snowboarding team “Star Rider” held an elaborate founding ceremony at a resort in Gyeongi do. The founding ceremony was attended by celebrities and entertainers and other representatives. There were even performances, fan signing and photo taking sessions at the event. “Star Rider” is currently sponsored by famous sportswear brand Columbia, symbolizing that they have entered the world of winter sports.

“Star Rider” consists of 11 gag men,4 singers including Shin Dong,3 athletes and 1 model, altogether totaling to a number of 19 in the group.
