[news] U-KISS "People Only Know Dongho"

{[['']]}

"All the members are recognized whenever our song is being played!"

Debuted in 2008, U-KISS was only receiving huge popularity since last year through their addictive 'Strong Guy Dance' song 'Man Man Ha Ni'. U-KISS youngest member Dongho is a member of KBS 2TV 'Invincible Baseball Team', and his cute appearance has made him popular among nuna fans, creating the 'synergy effect' for them.

U-KISS's activities have been steady in the duration of 1 year and 6 months since debuted. From the debut song 'Not Young' to 'I Like You', 'Talk To Me' to the explosive track 'Man Man Ha Ni', they are constantly releasing new songs in their attempt to win fans' heart. They recently released their 1st full album, however they said that they are "still hunger for more".

Kibum, who is receiving lots of attention because he is the younger brother of SS501's Kim Hyungjoon said "'Man Man Ha Ni' is well received. But I think that U-KISS is a group that is not well received yet. Of course we should come out with at least 2~3 more hit songs. Everybody knows Dongho due to his participation in 'Invincible Baseball Team' but for the other members, their names and faces are still unknown to many people. We have to try harder of course." Soohyun added "We'll show our combined talents in entertainment variety shows to represent U-KISS. Whenever we're not together (on variety shows), we'll try our best to make sure that the audiences at least know the members' name."

'Man Man Ha Ni' and their title track for their 1st album 'Bingeul Bingeul' were produced by Brave Brothers. The song (Bingeul Bingeul) is a combination of Euro house and electronic sound with an addictive and repetitive line of 'Bingeul Bingeul Bingeul~' in the lyrics. They introduced 'Strong Guy Dance' through 'Man Man Ha Ni', and this time around, they came out with 'Whirlwind Dance' in order to show a cool stage performance. The members revealed "We get dizzy as we were turning our head around so much. It's really hard to dance after eating."

In 'Man Man Ha Ni', Dongho caught a lot of attention of being at the center, but he was being placed at the back row this time around. Dongho said "I prefer receiving more singing parts."

"Actually, I don't really have a part in 'Man Man Ha Ni’. My part was only about 12 syllables. But in 'Bingeul Bingeul', I received about 30 syllables. I might be at the back, but I'm more excited since I'd get to sing more."

Kevin took over the center from Dongho this time around. He said "I feel lots of burden as I have a lot of parts in this song."

They received lots of attention through cable channel MBC Every1's reality program "U-KISS's Vampire". This reality program aims to show the psychological differences between blood types. It was originally planned for 5 episodes only, but due to the hot reactions from fans, the broadcast of the show has been extended, adding 3 more episodes to be broadcast. The members expressed their happiness "It seems like the fans like it since they get to see the other sides of us that they didn't see when we're on stage."

Whatever it is, U-KISS member that will get most of the attentions is the team's maknae Dongho. The other members don't really seem to be affected when the spotlight went to Dongho. They said that even though all the attention went to Dongho, their teamwork is not affected so there is no such thing as rivalry between the members.

"Of course we want U-KISS to be recognized, and people recognize us because of Dongho, so we're thankful to Dongho for being U-KISS's biggest strength.”
