가수 박진영이 제자인 2PM과 함께 1위 후보에 오른다면 자신이 1위를 하겠다고 선언했다.
박진영은 12월 26일 방송된 KBS 2TV ‘연예가중계’에서 “2PM과 1위 후보에 오른다면 내가 하겠다”며 “그 친구들은 아마 앞으로도 많이 할 거다”고 너스레를 떨었다.
또 박진영은 “얘들아~ 형이 하…할께”라고 영상편지를 보내기도. 이날 박진영은 콘서트 오프닝 가수가 2PM인 것에 대해 “부담간다”며 “오프닝 가수가 인기가 더 많으니까…”라고 너스레를 떨었다.
한편 프로듀서보다는 가수로 남고 싶다고 말한 박진영은 “죽을 때까지 댄스가수를 할 거다”며 “몸이 안 느려지는 목표가 쉰살이다. 앞으로 만으로 12년 더 할 수 있다”고 욕심을 드러내기도 했다.

On December 26th on the broadcast of KBS 2TV 'Entertainment Tonight' Park Jin Young told them that "If 2PM and JYP fight for the number 1 spot he will take the place." and said "I will probably have many number 1's in the future too,".
Park Jin-young said "Guys I'll do it now (become number one) ..." and also sent a video letter to them. On the day of the interview he talked about the opening act of 2PM at the concert of singer Park Jin-young "I'm nervous" said "Because the opening act is more popular ..." .
On another note he said he wanted to stay as a singer rather than a producer, Park Jin-young said that "I'm going to be a dance singer till I die" and said, "I can go on until I am 50. There is still 12 more years I can do" He told his greed.
