[News] 2NE1’s “Fire” and “I Don’t Care” on the Karaoke Hit Charts

{[['']]}

This year, mainstream music industry has been dominated by Girl Groups and Pop Idol groups. There has been intense competition in the music industry, with established groups like SNSD, Brown-Eyed Girls, and Kara already in the scene, only to be joined by rookie groups like 2NE1, T-Ara, 4 Minute, and f(x), who have gained high popularity as soon as they debuted.

Of course, there’s also the attractive male idol groups like
2PM, Big Bang, and SS501 who are in the running for idol attention.

But it seems that the girl groups are dominating the male idol groups when it comes to karaoke.

The songs and music company,
Kum Young, has made an aggregate report from January 1 to December 9, and the results show that karaoke singers prefer the fast tempo that dance songs provide. “Gee” by SNSD and 2NE1’s “I Don’t Care” have made it into the TOP 10.

2NE1’s “I Don’t Care” rose to number 8th position, while their debut song, “Fire” made it to the top 14. The “Female Big Bang,” 2NE1’s explosive energy and popularity has made their songs go into the charts despite their rookie status. In fact, even though they debuted later than the other girl groups, their popularity cannot be denied.
