Following After Love's receipt of the 23rd Golden Disk Award's Choice Award, F.T. Island's Cross & Change has become a finalist for the Golden Disk Award's Disk Award; this will certainly bring more pressure to their opponents. On November 14th, Korea's extremely powerful band F.T. Island successfully launched their nationwide tour with their first concert. Apart from attracting Korean fans, many fans from Taiwan, Japan, and Thailand also came. It really makes one feel that they should not be underestimated in Asia in terms of popularity.
During the concert, F.T. Island's lead singer, Lee Hongki who plays Jeremy in You're Beautiful, emerged holding his pet dog, Jolie. He gave a charismatic solo performance on the You're Beautiful OSTtheme song, As Ever/Still, showing a different performance style from before. It brought the whole concert to a climax and placed the bar extremely high for the anticipated inaugural concert in Sun Yat Sen's Memorial Hall in Taiwan on February 27th of next year.
On November 28th at noon, F.T. Island will hold their first paid activity in Taiwan for their concert. The organizers have even given 200 lucky Japanese and Chinese fans who purchased tickets in the past three days an opportunity to pose for pictures with and get autographs from F.T. Island. Additionally, the group prepared a special edition CD for Taiwan only and 4 versions of F.T. Island invitation cards as bonus gifts for the event to happily welcome 2010 with their fans.
