[News] Super Junior Eunhyuk :"SNSD, long time no see, I miss you"

Super Junior Eunhuyk has just expressed that he missed SNSD, who are under the same company with SJ.

On the show KBS2TV "Let's go Dream team season 2" which was aired on December 6th, baseball player Yang HyeonJong had confessed shyly that "I like SNSD's Taeyeon" and "When am I be able to have a meal with her ?".

Then MC Lee Changmyeong asked "Eunhyuk-sshi is close to SNSD, right ?" which Eunhyuk said "Long time no see, SNSD I miss you" and laughed.

[News] Se7en, “It’s been 2 years since I’ve performed in Korea, and it feels good”

Se7en greets fans performing in Korea after 2 long years.

Se7en was present as guest appearance for GDragon’s ‘Shine A Light’ concert on 6th December in Seoul Olympic Stadium.

He performed his American debut song ‘Girls’ and joked, “You know who I am?”. He continued, “It has been 2 years since I’ve performed in Korea. I’m feeling really happy now.”

Se7en added, “When I was in the States, I really longed for Korean stage, and I miseed everyone so so much. About a month back, JiYoung asked me to guest his concert, and I thought ‘this is the moment’ that I should come out.”

He also revealed, “I am currently working on my Korean album. If fast enough, it will be out early next year, I hope that everyone will show loads of support.”

After that, Se7en went on to perform ‘I’ll Do Well’ and ‘Lalala’. And even though it was GDragon’s concert, many fans brought along placards with Se7en’s Korean name written on it to show him support during his appearance.

[News] DSP confirms A’ST1 disbandment, “Each members are now going their own ways

It has been known late that 6-member international idol group A’ST1 has disbanded.

The group’s agency DSP Media said in a phone interview on the 6th, “A’ST1 has recently disbanded. The members are now going their own ways.”

The staff interviewed has avoided questions on reasons for the group’s disbandment. Earlier, the group leader Park JungJin wrote on A’ST1’s official fanclub Eunice official site the news of the group’s disbandment on 27th November.

He revealed, “I find it hard to believe too. We are sorry”, “Currently the members are all doing well”, “And each members are working hard at where they are now”, “Thank you everyone all this while, you were our strength and we love you”.

The group, consisting of members Park JungJin, Seong InGyu, Im HanByul, Byun JangMoon and Chinese member Haiming and Japanese member Tomo, debuted back in 2008 with the song ‘1234BACK’.

Their last activity was in April where they released ‘Dynamite’.

[News] Kim Hye-soo’s brother pursues acting career

Kim Hye-soo (Style) has been a top star for a number of years now, and now her younger brother is getting his shot at acting: The 31-year-old Kim Dong-hee (above) has been cast to play the younger brother to Gong Hyo-jin’s character in the new MBC drama Pasta. He said, “At home, Hye-soo noona gives me a lot of acting advice. I want to learn a lot from Gong Hyo-jin sunbae.” (Gong is older, but as an acting veteran, she is Kim’s senior and therefore gets called “sunbae.”)

Every now and again, it’s interesting to take a look at stars’ siblings, such as with Ha Jung-woo and Jo In-sung. Perhaps the best examples of both siblings being successful in their individual careers are the Uhms (as in Jung-hwa and Tae-woong) and Kim Tae-hee and Lee Wan.

The Kims have a third sibling who’s also in the business: middle brother is 35-year-old actor Kim Dong-hyun, who has had roles in dramas Mun Hee and Secret Lovers.

Kim Dong-hee has appeared in music videos, but his official acting debut came as one of Sorabol’s ten Hwarang warriors in Queen Seon-deok. In Pasta, which incidentally takes over Seon-deok’s Monday-Tuesday timeslot, he’ll play a studious medical student. Pasta premieres on January 4.

[News] After School “7 Member Transformation, Musical Foundation Strengthened”

Female group After School has expressed their thoughts on its rebirth from a 6 member group to a 7 member group.

After the departure of an original member, So Young, in October, After School has recruited Raina and Nana and reorganized as a 7 member team. As a new 7 member group, they have just released their first single “Because of You.” The new single, which is a sentimental, electronic pop track, is rising on many music charts across the board and is being received well by fans.

On December 2nd, the 7 members of After School, Kahi, Jungah, Jooyeon, Uee, Bekah, Raina, and Nana, had an interview with Money Today Star News, and the group commented on various topics ranging from their thoughts on their transformation into a 7 member team to their new single, “Because of You.”

The group’s leader, Kahi, stated, “With two new members joining, it’s become much more lively and energetic than before,” and added, “the most important thing is that with Raina joining, our vocals have become especially stronger.”

Jungah also agreed that “the musical foundation has become stronger” and “a track like ’Because of You’ was possible due to this renewed strength.” Jooyeon also reiterated the other members in saying, “the vocal portions have considerable support now, and the team atmosphere has become more elegant as well.”

In response, Raina said, “I was always a fan of After School, but now that I get to perform alongside everyone as a member, it’s a big honor for me,” and continued, “and on top of everything, I’m being complimented so much that it’s made me very happy.”

Now as the youngest member, Nana stated, “I’m so thankful to the other members who have treated me like family and taken care of me,” and added, “I will continue to do my best and live up the After School name.”

One of the original members, Uee stated, “I was afraid that ‘Because of You’ could have been received as a dull or boring song because of its sad and mellow tone, but I am so glad that all of our fans have shown much love and support for it that I am very happy these days.”

Bekah added, “[the new single] is more heavy and somber than previous releases, but After School has taken things to the next level through transitions such as this… We are very thankful for our fans’ loyal support during our transformation.”

[News] After School “Because of You” #1 on Online Music Charts for the First Week of December

After their recent comeback, female group After School has reached number 1 on the online music charts with their new single, “Because of You”.

As of December 6, according to music portal Dosirak “Because of You” has taken the top spot for the first week of December.

Number 2 was taken by 2NE1’s CL and Minzi’s “Please Don’t Go” fueling the group’s solo appeal. The previous week’s chart topper, 2PM’s “Heartbeat”, is now sitting at number 3.

Number 4 has 2NE1’s Bom Park with her solo track, “You and I”, and number 5 has Brown Eyed Girls with their new track, “Sign”.

Recently, dance groups have been making a very strong showing, and a Dosirak insider further commented, “netizen’s response to new dance tracks has been hot” and “rather than favoring one song, netizens have been demanding various types of songs within the dance genre, and so [we] are seeing this influx of dance group singles.”

[News] MBLAQ wants to get close to SNSD

MBLAQ was on Starry Night Radio where SNSD’s Sooyoung and 2AM’s Changmin are the hosts. The boys of MBLAQ talked about many things including which SNSD member they would want to get close to.

Sooyoung wanted to know who they wanted to be friends with in SNSD. Translation: She asked for their ideal types hoping they’d all pick her.

Sadly for Sooyoung, only one of them did! It’s okay though, she still has a ridiculous amount of fan boys at her side.

Mir chose Sunny because when he talked to her for a split second on the set of Star Golden Bell, they really hit it off. Then another member said, “But your ideal type is Taeyeon.” Ouch, our boy Mir got caught in the act of cheating. But it must be true because he blushed as soon as someone said Taeyeon’s name. I bet he was hoping he was sitting at ChinChin Radio instead.

Thunder said he wanted to get close with Seohyun because on Intimate Note, she seemed to have a huge force. G.O picked Yuri saying she seemed outgoing. At this point, Sooyoung felt a little disappointed and said, “Alright, last person Lee Joon and no one has said me.”

Gentleman Lee Joon finished it off smoothly by saying, “Definitely Sooyoung! I saw you a lot in a hair salon during SNSD’s debut days and you’re so tall.” Sooyoung was a bit embarrassed and said, “Debut days? That’s when we looked the worst.”

Who else thinks these boys picked their ideal types instead of answering the question in the right way?
