Random visitors will receive coupons for a free instant coffee at Cafe Mori's around Korea. You can also receive a love note or flowers from the pretty girls.

You can even download Wonder Barista wallpapers, screensavers, and tons of other free content.

An official from Cafe Mori said, "We're targeting consumers in the 19-24 age range who drink coffee a lot. The girls appeal to this age range and hiring them as models made perfect sense."

With the opening of this promotional act, over 40 million visitors flooded the website and 5 million coupons have already been sent out.

With Korea's work force being so fast paced, instant coffee is a necessity for life. A Korean's necessities differ a bit from the rest of the world. Food, water, and shelter are pretty standard, but for most Koreans, coffee is just a more efficient and productive form of water.

[News] Se7en reveals couple photos on Park Han Byul's birthday

Singer Se7en reveals his love openly for girlfriend Park HanByul!

Se7en posted up a photo on his minihompy on 17th November which is also Park HanByul’s 26th birthday. He posted it in the photo folder called ‘7star’ and wrote, “A photo cut from Byul filming set. happy b’day ^^ ♥”

Fans who visited Se7en’s minihompy congratulated Park HanByul on her birthday but at the same time are also in envy of the couple.


Se7en previously revealed his 7 years love relationship with Park HanByul through a post on his minihompy in June.

He will be peforming on GDragon’s independent concert coming 5th and 6th December and fans will see him perform in Korea after 2 years.

Meanwhile, YG Entertainment revealed that Se7en has been meeting up with a major record company over in the States at least once a week recently for a new start to his American advance.

The YG rep also added that even though Se7en released the single ‘Girls’, it was not really considered as a proper American debut.

And YG will be revealing some good news regarding Se7en’s American advance soon.

Se7en will be taking up a project, promoting in Korea-America-Japan in 2010. His contracts with his overseas entertainment companies have ended and he is presented with new opportunities with signing up with new overseas entertainment companies.

Lastly the YG representative added that Se7en will not only be releasing new albums, he will also be trying out new areas

[News] Watching MAMA on the internet? Try out the new ‘multi-angle’ service!

2009 Mnet Asian Music Awards(MAMA) will be one of the first in Korea to launch the real time multi-angle webcasting service on the Internet during the whole ceremony.

By ‘multi-angle’, netizens can choose to watch the ceremony from the different cameras positioned at different angles during the show. Added to the fact that MAMA will be having some of Korea’s top singers for special stages for the show, it will give audience a real feel of the performances.

There will be 5 video views with this multi-angle service, of which 1 will be the main screen, and the rest of the 4 will be ENG camera which will have its videos sent to Mnet.com.

It will be as easy as a click away to choose between the 4 view angles/cameras on Mnet.com during the show for netizens.

This service will be available through registering on Mnet.com (http://multi-angle.mnet.com) and then a service access will be granted to 5,000 chosen netizens. Registration will end coming 20th November at noon

[News]JaeBum was with 2PM for their comeback stage

After starting their activities as a 6 membered group, it has been revealed that 2PM’s leader Park Jaebum also participated in their comeback through an international phone call. Before they prepared to get on stage on KBS Music Bank, 2PM gave a phone call to Park Jaebum in Seattle and gave a promise to show their best stage along with their famous greeting.

Group singers usually have their own greeting and words of encouragement before a stage. For 2PM, it began with the leader’s “What time is it now?” followed by the rest of the members’ “It’s 2PM!” greeting.

But the leader was not present for the day of their comeback. Through Wooyoung’s cell phone, 2PM was able to call Jaebum in America and conversed through the speaker phone.

Through the phone, Jaebum shouted “What time is it now?” and 2PM shouted back “2PM.” The staff and other singers watching them in the waiting room gave a round of applause at the scene. A representative of JYPE stated “It was a very tearful scene for everyone in the room. 2PM must go on leaving the empty space for their leader and have even withdrawn from variety shows.”

[News] Mnet Invited DBSK/THSK/ TVXQ For Their Year-end Awards

On the 16th, it was revealed by Mnet’s office that they have invited TVXQ, whose members are in the midst of a legal dispute with their management company, to attend their year-end awards “Mnet Asian Music Award” (hereafter known as MAMA). This year’s MAMA will be held on the 21st November, Seoul, Jamsil Gymnasium.

Their office said, “MAMA’s aim is to show the rest of Asia Korea’s culture” and “the award ceremeony will be aired across the 10 main countries in Asia, like Japan, China, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand, where TVXQ is the best artist. Thus, Korea’s top artist cannot be excluded from the invitation.”

On MAMA’s end, they have expressed interest in inviting TVXQ to attend their awards. On the 16th, they said that they would get in touch with TVXQ’s management to see whether it would be possible for them to attend or not. However, TVXQ’s company, SM Entertainment has declared that they would not be attending MAMA, so a lot of attention has been cast on TVXQ to see whether or not they will attend.

An official from the KPOP industry said, “Last month, the courts approved a partial injunction to the 3 members’ exclusive contract with the company, and the 3 members are allowed to participate in their own individual activities” and “while we hope that all 5 members can attend together, the possibility of only the 3 members attending is high”.

MAMA is holding their award ceremony on the 21st, which was originally the date of TVXQ’s concert in China. However, SM Entertainment claimed that, “The 3 members expressed that they did not wish to participate in the concert that was to be held on the 21st, and the remaining performances are uncertain.” In contrast, the 3 members’ side claimed that “From the beginning, the China concert (Shenzhen) was not in the contract.”

A representative from a company for idol groups said, “SM Entertainment and the 3 members have differing opinions, and the dispute is becoming more serious. Disbandment might be inevitable.”

[News] GDragon and TaeYang to have first duet stage with ‘Korean Dream’ on MAMA

Big Bang GDragon and TaeYang will have their first duet stage since debut.

Coming 21st November for 2009 Mnet Asian Music Awards (2009 MAMA)’, the 2 will perform together on one stage. They will be performing the song ‘Korean Dream’ off GDragon’s first solo album, featuring TaeYang. This will be their first time performing a duet stage since their debut as Big Bang, and much anticipation is in for this performance.

Both of them joined as trainees in YG Ent since they were 13 years old, and are known for their strong friendship.

YG Entertainment said, “Because the 2 of them have been working together for a long time, it will be great collaboration between the 2. They will be performing the duet stage together with their own solo stages for MAMA. Please look forward to some really cool performances.”

[News] V6 First Solo Concerts in Korea Attracts 12,000 Fans

On November 15th the popular group V6 held a concert at Olympic Hall in Seoul, Korea. It was part of their first Asia tour in 7 years. It was also the first time they held solo concerts in Korea. In all they performed 3 concerts in 2 days starting from the 14th, and attracted a total of 12,000 fans. The 6 members had in the past participated in local music festivals 3 times. They finally fulfilled their dream of holding live events in Korea all by themselves.
Olympic Hall was packed with people, and about eighty percent of them were local fans. Miyake Ken seemed deeply moved. "We know you've waited a long time for us to come; we've been looking forward to this day too." When each member introduced themselves, Inohara Yoshihiko jokingly said "'An nyong ha seh yo (Hello)'. I'm Bae Yong Joon. [Korean actor popular in both Korea and Japan.] To my family out here, thank you so much." He mimicked 'Yong-sama' by bowing deeply with a hand to his chest. The hall erupted in laughter.
For their first Korea concerts, the group shipped 100 tons of stage equipment using 6 ferries. The equipment was necessary to show elevated platforms, three-dimensional images with the help of glasses and many other stage devices that were rarely used in Korea.
They also treated their Korean fans to a performance they haven't done for 2 whole years in Japan. From a 2 meter high platform, all 6 members lined up, jumped off, flipped in midair and landed on their feet. The members mesmerized the audience with their brilliant acrobatic stunts. They called out to their fans in Korean. "Sarang hae yo (We love you)!!" They performed a total of 37 songs including their hit single '愛なんだ / Ai-nanda [lit. 'It's Love']'. With their music, V6 strengthened the bond between the Korean and Japanese people.

[News] SS501 to Hold Second Christmas Show

With the release of their long-awaited new EP 'REBIRTH' in Korea on October 20th, SS501 has finally started to perform again with all five members. The group has been attracting lots of attention with their cool music and style. In December they will visit Japan to hold their second 'Christmas Show!'.

'SS501 ～2nd Christmas Show!～' will take place on December 19th at the Tsuru [Banquet Room] of The New Otani [Hotel] in Tokyo. There first performance will be held during midday, with another one in the evening. After enjoying the food served by the hotel, fans will have even more fun with SS501. All the performances will be related to Christmas, including a mini-concert, talk show and candle service. The special event will exhibit how much momentum the group now has.
