[News]How much will be SNSD's personal collectibles be worth?

The auction date for SNSD's personal collectibles is nearing.

From 23rd October, SNSD's outfits from 'Chocolate Love' MV had been put up for auction. The proceeds from this auction will go to helping needy children around the world.

SNSD's auction had brought in much interest because the member's individual popularity will be especially evident in the bidding. Currently, Yoona is leading with 8060,000 Won (~USD$8060) offered, with Tiffany in the 2nd with 7000,000 Won (~USD$7000). Taeyeon, who is popular among the male fans had not fared as well as what everyone believed. Taeyeon came in 3rd, behind Yoona and Tiffany with 6440,000Won (~USD$6400).

The skyrocketing prices for SNSD's lead to concerns by many. The prices increase rapidly at the start as the fans of individual members were actively bidding to "prove each member's popularity", making it difficult for the winner to pay the high price when the bidding ends.

SNSD CF Music faced with Plagiarism Controversy

A Japanese blog had stated that the music used in SamYang Ramen CF with SNSD had infringed copyrights. The background music in this CF is similar to the one used in the hit Japanese game "Bubble Bobble".

The advertisers had responded to this claim that they had received permission to use this music and had paid for the use of the music to the original owner of the "Bubble Bobble" track.

But as the blogger had not checked out the facts right before publishing this piece widely, it had lead to Korean and Japanese netizens started a verbal war online.

An official had expressed sadly that "Its absurd. The CF had received permission to use the music." and that "The Japanese blogger had mistaken".

The SamYan Ramen CF had been filmed with the concept of "Friends Ramen, SamYang Ramen". SNSD members used the '보글보글' song and the '보글보글' dance to chase away boredom in the CF. The interesting yet easy to catch on lyrics in the '보글보글' song by SNSD had created interest among public.

[News] SNSD Tiffany disclosed! "Other than me, the rest are swindlers", spoilers ahead for KSJ

SNSD Tiffany's surprising statement that the other members are swindlers/con artists cause surprise to many.

The broadcast of SBS's Kang Shim Jang on the 3rd will show Tiffany saying "The other 8 members in SNSD are swindlers" and "It isn't the first or second time that the other members gang up on me".

Tiffany said "They made fun of me on many occasions when I am faced with difficult Korean words. A while ago, I didn't know the meaning of "ByuRuk" (flea) and they told me it is like Marine look, School look. It is a type of trendy fashion. I believed them. I would have made a big mistake!" The confession had made the studio burst out in laughter.

Tiffany continued to talk about the incident as well as some other shocking confessions.

[NEWS] 091103 f(x)’s new song ‘Chu~♡’ Radiates of Cute Lively Charms

Hot Topic Rookie Group f(x) will reveal their title song 'Chu~♡' through music portal sites on the 4th, prior to the release of their first single album on the 9th.

The title song of the single, Chu~♡, is a Euro Pop Dance song which was made with the famous trendy feel which is popular in Europe, along with the drum sounds which are mainly used in African music.

In the lyrics, ‘Chu~♡' is an onomatopoeic representation of the word that expresses the sound. The lyrics is set in a fairy-tale motif and it is about the main character waking up from sleep with a kiss, and through the kiss the main character, filled with curiosity, wants to go out into the world. With the repetitive pronunciation of ‘Chu’, you can feel the exquisite toxicity.

Also f(x) will show their new song’s stage on the 6th for KBS2TV ‘Music Bank’, 7th for MBC ‘Music Core’, and the 8th for SBS ‘Inkigayo’.

[news] Wonder Girls and JYP to be on Golden Fishery together

The Wonder Girls, along with producer JYP will come together on the show Golden Fishery - Knee Slap Shaman. The filming for this particular episode took place at the end of October.

MBC stated that as soon as Wonder Girls returned to Korea, they got JYP and the girls together to film an episode to talk about their American experiences. The Wonder Girls shared different stories from trying to make it in America, while JYP talked about their plans / strategies / goals. With JYP's past experience on the show, he knew exactly how it would go.

This episode is scheduled to air on the 4th

[news] Netizens are touched after watching videos from KARA's 'non-famous' period

Videos of KARA member Han Seungyeon, VJ-ing for a gaming program suddenly became one of the most watched since the article broke out about Seungyeon talking about their hardships on SBS's Strong Heart. Debuting in 2007, the same year as the debut of Wonder Girls and Girls Generation, KARA initially had a hard time gaining popularity, and till the first half of 2008 the group was considered as failures in comparison to other more successful groups.

The reason why the group has earned the name of 'Economic Idols' and even the harsher 'No money, poor idols' is because instead of protecting their idol image, the members, most noticeably Han Seungyeon, went on different cable programs and even outdoor events to stay in the consciousness of people. The hard work shown by Seungyeon earned the group the nickname of 'Economic Idols'.

Many were not aware of this period for KARA, and new fans were surprised to see the old clips. Although the videos are about 2 years old, netizens were able to dig up the old files and watched a younger Seungyeon host the cable program all by herself. Many netizens said they teared up while watching the old clips, noticing how far the group has come from their 'failure' days.

Others wrote 'Now that KARA has succeeded, Seungyeon must feel proud.', 'If not for Han Seungyeon, there would be no KARA today', 'No matter what other people say, Seungyeon is still the "Face" of KARA'.

Han Seungyeon's tearful confession and behind story will be broadcasted on November 3.
