The artist flew into Tokyo for his fan meeting titled "KANGTA FANMEETING IN JAPAN" held Friday at the HAKUJU HALL, Kangta's agency SM Entertainment explained through a press release on Monday.
The event opened with a photo montage of the singer in the theme of 'past, present, future' followed by a performance of his hit songs including "Falling in Love," "Happy Happy," "Pinetree" and "Polaris."
He gave his rendition of R&B singer Brian McKnight's "One Last Cry" and Japanese artist Standooh's song "TSUNAMI."
Kangta also played games with his fans, as well as holding a question and answer session and wrapped up the event shaking hands with each of his fans.
Kangta, whose real name is Ahn Chil-hyun, made his debut in 1996 as the lead singer in the now-disbanded idol group H.O.T., one of the most popular groups in Korea and throughout Asia during the late 1990s and early 2000s.
He began his solo career in 2001, releasing several albums in Asia, until he joined the military in 2008.
