[News] SNSD's album released as smart phone application

A mobile application for female idol group Girls' Generation's second repackaged album "Run Devil Run" has been released today, according to their agency SM Entertainment on Friday. 

The application for use on smartphones will be available in 79 different countries worldwide, featuring a free and paid ($7.99) version for the iPhone. 

The free version includes a 30-second preview of each track on the record, a music video of "Run Devil Run" and photographs of the girls. 

The paid version allows the user to listen to the whole album, see music videos of "Run Devil Run" as well as the girls' previous hits "Oh!," "Gee," "Tell Me Your Wish" and a photo gallery as well. 

Customers using the with the charged version will also be able to view never-before seen pictures and videos of the girl group which will be updated on the application frequently.

Their application for smartphones -- created by music service providers Neowizbugs and the girls' agency SM Entertainment -- is an attempt never before made in the country. They are planning to create applications for other SM artists including Super Junior, SHINee and f(x). 

Girls' Generation has been conquering the music scene with their latest record and title track "Run Devil Run." The album, which was released earlier this week, has topped online and offline music charts since going on sale.
