‘승승장구’에서 MC로 활약하고 있는 우영의 예능감이 눈부시다.
우영은 지난 2일 첫 방송된 KBS 2TV ‘승승장구’에서 메인 MC 김승우를 꼼짝 못하게 만들며 시청자들의 시선을 사로잡은바 있다. 우영은 지난주 방송에서 데뷔 2년이 안된 신인 2PM이 CF모델로 맹활약을 펼치는 것과 관련해 김승우가 한마디만 하겠다고 나서자 “다음주에 하라”며 입을 막아 웃음을 선사했다.
이어 우영은 9일 방송된 ‘승승장구’에서도 깜짝 게스트로 출연한 배우 안길강이 지난 주 방송을 보고 우영이 걱정돼 출연했다고 밝히자 “길강 형님께서 저를 생각해 출연해 주셨다”고 너스레를 떨었다.
이 때 김승우가 슬그머니 형님소리를 한 우영에게 뭐라고 하려고 하자 우영은 손가락을 김승우의 입에 가져다 대며 “쉿”이라고 말을 막아 웃음을 선사했다. 우영의 재치에 이날 게스트로 출연한 황정민과 안길강을 비롯한 MC들은 박장대소 했고, 김승우 마저 웃음으로 화답했다.
또한 김승우의 다크서클이 화제에 올라 김승우가 “다크서클을 가리기 위해 안경을 쓴다”고 고백하자 우영은 “잘 어울린다”고 말해 두 사람의 앙숙관계가 회복되는 듯 보였다. 하지만 우영은 칭찬에 의아해하는 김승우에게 “다크서클이 잘 어울린다고요”라고 덧붙여 다시 한번 큰 웃음을 자아냈다.
방송을 본 시청자들은 “정말 ‘승우 잡는 우영’이다. 우영 예능감 대폭발이다”, “우영 너무 웃기다. 가만히 있다 툭툭 던지는 말이 예술이다”, “우영의 센스에 깜짝 놀랐다. 예능 학원이라도 다니는거냐”며 뜨거운 반응을 보냈다.
한편, 이날 ‘승승장구’에는 배우 황정민이 게스트로 출연했으며, 깜짝 게스트로 소녀시대 수영, 개그맨 김현철, 리쌍의 개리, 배우 안길강 등이 등장해 황정민과의 친분을 과시했다.

Wooyoung's captured the eyes of many viewers by trapping Main MC Kim Seung Woo in the palm of his hand on the episode of 'Win Win' that aired on the 2nd. When Kim Seung Woo said that he'd had something to say about newbies that hadn't even past 2 years since their debut, 2PM, shining as CF Models, Wooyoung silenced him, and made many viewers laugh, by saying, "Tell us next week."
Wooyoung then joked on the episode of 'Win Win' aired on the 9th to surprise guest actor Ahn Gil Kang, "Gil Kang hyung-nim appeared on this show because he was thinking about me," when Gil-Kang said that he came on the show because he was worried about Wooyoung.
When Kim Seung Woo tried to chastise Wooyoung about calling Gil Kang 'hyung-nim', Wooyoung presented laughter to the audience by putting his finger against Kim Seung Woo's lips and saying, "Shh." At Wooyoung's wits, guests Hwang Jung Min, Ahn Gil Kang, the other MCs laughed, and even Kim Seung Woo responded with a smile.
Also, when Kim Seung Woo's circles under his eyes came up as a topic, Kim Seung Woo said, "I wear glasses to conceal the circles." At this, Wooyoung replied, "It fits you." This made it seem like their rivalry was dissipating, but then Wooyoung said to a confused Kim Seung Woo, (confused about Wooyoung's sudden praise) "I meant that the circles suit you," causing yet more laughter.
Viewers who had watched the show enthusiastically replied, "It's really 'Wooyoung catching (winning against) Seung Woo. Wooyoung's wits are exploding", "Wooyoung's so funny. The words that he says in between his silences are like art", "I was surprised at Wooyoung's sense. Is he taking an academy about it or something?"
On the other hand, this episode of 'Win Win' featured actor Hwang Jung Min as a guest, Girls' Generation's Sooyoung, entertainer Kim Hyun Chul, Leessang's Gary and actor Ahn Gil Kang as surprise guests to show their friendship with Hwang Jung Min.
