Another week has passed by and it’s FRIDAY! Ya’ll know what that means, but for those who don’t know, its time for Blueprincess824’s Week-end mash-up. Summing up all the hottest and must not miss news from Friday to Fridays! Just in time for the weekend!

Big Bang’s TOP solo single was released via Fan Cam’s from their Big Show concert! Even if it was just a fan cam, it sure made the hearts of fan girls go wild and scream “OTOKE????!!!!!” which what the fan girl in the video who was taking it screamed. The music video was released in the concert giving the VIP’s present the top seats of the first premier of the music video. The music video was hot and I’m pretty sure once it gets released it will be Topping various music charts. Excited? Well your not the only one.
BEAST’s leader DooJoon will be heading to Cambodia after traveling to Africa last year for the show “Danbi”. Remember when Doo Joon was absent for MAMA? There was so much talk and speculations which left many fans confused!!! But fear not for the leader will not disappear into thin air and immersed in secrecy anymore for he announced before hand that he will be heading again somewhere far to film for the show, for the sake of everyone and the fragile hearts of the fans.
Wonder Girls will be returning to Korea as a 4 member group to prepare for their activities in China. Ever since SunMi left the group a week ago to pursue her studies, the wonder girls have been drowned with issues left and right especially with SunMi’s replacement Hae Lim which wonderful’s aren’t so excited about.

Super Junior’s Shindong faced a scandal because of his rude comments on fat women on his radio show STTP. Fans sparked mad at the rude and sexist comments he made on the show. Some of his comments were “"Dont start if you will quit after only few days. Your body cant change just because of diet". “girls should be slim and boys are...", "I only said because honestly, I just want the person whom I love to be prettier and more beautiful". These rude comments made fans mad and fans shocked, disappointed and confused upon his comments. This isn’t the first time that suju members are being called rude for their comments on fat women. Previously leeteuk stated that fat women are lazy and doesn’t know how to take care of themselves and yesung said before on his fair share of opinion on fat women.
The Wonder Girls who are currently focusing on international promotions such as U.S. and China were to return to Korea to prepare for their promotions in China. Sunye arrived in Korea 2 days earlier than the rest of the girls to meet Hae Lim, Sunmi’s replacement in order to brief and instruct her about their Wonder Girls activities, basically telling her everything she has to know. Note that Sunye wasn’t so ecstatic when she gave instructions to Hae Lim. Looks like its not only the wonderfuls who are not excited about Hae Lim.
There was a broadcast accident during the comeback stage of SNSD at music core. They performed Oh and unfortunately on the last part of the song, the screen suddenly went black and mute for a few painstakingly seconds which left sones blank and terrified! There was “technical difficulties” during the broadcast and of course, fans bombarded Music Core with complaints on their short comings on the comeback. As a peace offering and to make things amend among music core and viewers, they released a clean non-blank version of the broadcast the following day.January 31, 2010
The large scale demonstration planned by the Hottest’s was canceled it was CANCELED not failed. Hottest’s wanted to request and heed explanation on the withdrawal of 2pm’s leader Park Jaebum. It was not only a Korean based protest but worldwide as well. But it looked like things didn’t turn out as they expected and several inevitable reasons made the planned protest canceled but instead held a meeting outside JYPE’s building. The main reason why it was canceled was because it was Illegal for more than 1,000 people at once to protest, and it looked like they needed a permit to do so or something.
YG announced that they are going to release a “Lollipop Project 2” that will come in early February. It was said that Big Bang will still be part of the project but unfortunately 2ne1 won’t be in it like last time instead a secret “Lollipop Girl” will be collaborating with Big Bang for this project. The project is being pursued and filmed in total secrecy making no clue to who the mysterious lollipop girl is. Back last year Lollipop was a huge hit and made the perfect introduction to 2ne1 who didn’t even debut yet when the project was released.
BEAST ended their first mini album promotions on this day at SBS inkigayo where they performed Mystery. It’s been almost been 3 months since their debut back in October 16, 2009. Their first mini album received much love and was able to take 20,000 over album sales which are a success for a rookie group to selling that much. BEAST is said to be back in the future with a more cooler and improved album and image.

TVXQ is unstoppable from breaking out and coming top in the pack taking home the number 1 spot Oricon single weekly ranking! Their song “Break Out” as it reached 256,000 sales upon release marking the most records sold by a foreign artist in the history of Japanese Music. TVXQ may be experiencing some legal disputes and issues but this isn’t stopping them from being the number 1 in Japan which is the country they are currently promoting. TVXQ is indeed remarkable as artists, being top Hallyu stars.
A total of 60 fans fainted during the last day of the three day BIG SHOW concert. The saying is sure true when it comes to Big Bang that “Absence makes the heart grow fonder” because after being gone for 1 year in kpop, they are back with their concert as gifts to their much missed and love Korean fans. Now, it would be horrible to faint during the concert but I cannot blame them, its crowded, hot and with the overwhelming HOT and SEXY aura from the boys, these are sure knock outs to those with poor stamina and endurance. Big Bang will be back this year with a fresh and hot album within the year.
Taegoon said that he is sick of being referred to as “Jaejoong’s friend” and not as Taegoon alone. He stated that there were many who thought poorly of him and that he takes advantage of his friendship with DBSK to gain attention and fame as he seeks success as a solo artist. He even asked writers to not write about it but knowing days these days any hot topic will be headlines news no matter what. As a good friend he wants it to stop so that his friends wont be bothered with news and issues. For me, Taegoon is very attention deprived in Korea and very underrated. The guys has talent and singing capabilities for sure but maybe its not yet his time to shine.

Wonder Girls is set to release their 2 disc Mandarin special edition that will be released this coming 12th of February. The album will of course feature Chinese versions of their hit singles from the past including “Hot” , “Tell me” and the song which brought them to fame across the globe “Nobody”. Despite issues and unhappy talks between the group’s maknae being replaced with long time JYP trainee Hae Lim. Wonder Girls will be moving forward and will continue with overseas promotions.
DBSK has been chosen by viewers who should be introduced to Ellen Degenere’s the popular talk show host of the show with the said name. In the show’s website they began and event in which viewers will suggest and international artist suggestion to be on the show. DBSK had over a whooping 20,000 suggestions clearing the competition with top artists all over the globe not only in Asia. Kpop has been taking the world slowly last year and conquered Asian countries with their music. Kpop fans are not to be under estimated because they come in large numbers not only in Asia but all the parts of the globe. Despite being the most suggested, it looks rather slim for DBSK to be appearing because of their legal dispute of the other members with SM Entertainment.
After School’s Kahi’s shocking revelation about running away from home was revealed on the latest episode of Strong Heart. She revealed that she has run away from home without contact from her parents for over 7 years now. Rebellious Kahi said that her father was very strict upon upbringing his children which made Kahi run away and fee to her friend’s house. She then moved to Seoul by her own means and pursued her dreams despite the circumstances. Good things came in the end as when she debuted her father called her and said she was the prettiest, A touching story which made Kahi and UEE cry.

19th Seoul Music awards took place today in which T-ara, After School and BEAST won newcomers of the year, The Bonsang winners were SHINee (their first bonsang), Baek Ji Young, KARA, SNSD, Davichi, Son Dambi, Kim TaeWoo and 2pm. Super Junior bagged two awards which are the Hallyu Special award and Popularity award in which 2pm was also awarded. SNSD won the Daesang which is the most prestigious award of the event that night. SNSD and Super Junior also celebrated their member and friend Kyuhyun’s Birthday.
Official photo’s were released about T-ara’s new show called “T-ara’s world”. It is similar to Kara’s bakery but instead of a bakery they will be running a shopping mall instead. Having individual activities and preparations for the comeback this month, T-ara sure is busy! With little spare time, they will share it with viewers as the show takes them on their journey and process of being businesswomen on their shopping mall.
Lee Hyori will be back with a “Foreign song”. What foreign song you might ask. Hyori is totally taking things new and fresh on her album since popular Korean composers were not chosen to work on Hyori’s album because she said they did not have what she was looking for. Hyori will take on from new composers and foreign songs for her album her company said. Hyroi has been taking extreme actions on her album to be released this late February or early march. Delaying her comeback back in November to prepare for her album, and her company said that they have already chosen their title song and they are now preparing for album promotions, etc.

Idols are graduating this month from High School and are ready to go to College but some won’t be able to make it because of busy schedules! Ahead of the pack who graduated are 2am’s Maknae Jinwoon, where he was very much happy to receive his diploma and Changmin came along with him to show support, also graduates are YounHa and BEAST’s maknae Dongwoon, FCUZ’ Kan and Yejun too. Also graduating this month are SHINee’s Minho and key and U-kiss’ Dongho who are graduating on the 10th, SNSD’s SeoHyun in the 9th.
Wonder Girls’ new member Hae Lim is preparing herself as wonder girl for their Chinese promotions this month. Today, Hae Lim will publicly appear as a wonder girl for the first time for Wonder Girls CF activities in Sanya, China. After the Chinese promotions, they will head Hae Lim included of course to America to continue their American promotions. Wonder Girl’s first U.S. album is also delayed in release to later in April because they need to re-record SunMi’s parts into Hae Lim’s. SunMi will last appear as a wonder girl at the “Pop-Con Conert” on February 20 in America making it her last appearance as an active member of the wonder girls.
2am had a no show for 3 weeks in Music Core, they are still yet to have a comeback stage in Music Core thus sparking controversy that there is dispute between the two. The reason for the dispute was even said to be JoKwon appearing and being part of SBS’s variety show Family Outing 2 since he is also a fixed and permanent guest in we got married with ga-in. Although MBC is stating their unhappiness from the no show of 2am and jo kwon being a permanent guest in family outing 2, they have cleared the issue that there is no dispute and even saying that this issue is “Ridiculous”. 2am also said from their side that there is not discord between them and MBC.

G-Dragon has been interviewed and interrogated by officials because of his “sexually explicit scenes for minors” on his solo concert last year. G-dragon defended himself that he didn’t know what he showed during his concert were sexually explicit and inappropriate for minors. He denied allegations against him and stated his ground on the issue. Not much information was said about this but G-dragon sure is a man of few words for this issue. The court said that they will continue their investigation and determine if G-dragon’s actions were punishable by law and finalize everything by next week.
U-Kiss officially released their music video for title song “Round and Round” from their first full length album. 2 versions were released on the same day, the clean version and dirty version. U-kiss is back sexier than ever and showing skin for their dirty version of their music video. Although they only revealed their chocolate abs and going half naked for their dirty version it somehow made fans a little disappointed. Looks like fans expected more from the name “Dirty Version”. U-kiss also made their comeback performance today at Music Bank.
SNSD win’s Mutizen award this week making their comeback stage at Music Core, after selling 30,000 copies in one day upon release of their album, they instantly grabbed the winning momentum from super rookie’s CN Blue. SNSD proves once again their strong stand on the kpop scene. After school also performed their other single from their mini album “when I fall” and U-kiss made their comeback stage today at music bank. Will SNSD be able to hold the top place especially since girl group KARA and T-ara will be also making their comeback later this month and U-kiss strong album sales from their first full album, most especially sex icon Lee Hyori’s comeback after more than one year of hiatus?
