Some 1,000 fans who saw Big Bang member G-Dragon’s concert filed a petition to the prosecution. G-Dragon is accused of showing sexually provocative scenes during his December concert. The Ministry of Health, Welfare and Family Affairs had requested the prosecutor’s office to investigate the matter to see whether the problematic scene had violated the lewd performance law.

G-Dragon’s fans who attended the concert argue in the petition that they did not feel that the performances were obscene and did not arouse any feelings of sexual humiliation. They also claimed that the artistry of the entire concert cannot be discounted just because a few sequences were considered problematic.

A source with the prosecution said that prosecutors are investigating the matter by looking at various materials collected from many different sources. As for the possibility of having G-Dragon summoned for questioning, he said that the idol star may be summoned, since it’s not that unusual to interview people involved in an allegation.
