2PM 메인보컬 준수(본명 김준수)의 화려했던 과거가 공개된다.
10일 방송되는 MBC 에브리원 '스타 더 시크릿'에서는 다른 멤버들에 비해 다소 조용한 성격으로 알려진 준수의 과거 모습이 전파를 탈 예정이다.
이날 방송에서는 글쓰기 부문에서 무려 8개의 수상 경력이 있었던 김준수의 우월한 과거가 속속 밝혀진다. 제작진은 당시 김준수가 대한적십자사에 보낸 응모작을 입수, ‘어머니’를 주제로 한 김준수의 시를 최초로 공개한다. 게다가 이날 방송에서는 고교 시절 김준수의 생활 기록부도 엿볼 수 있다.
또 김준수와 같은 대구 출신으로 현재 엠투엠(M to M) 그룹 멤버로 활동하고 있는 가수 정진우는 평소 김준수에 대해 애교도 많고 장난도 잘 치는 개구쟁이 같은 성격이라고 밝혔다. 사석에서 두 사람이 대화를 할 때면 김준수는 정진우에게 “행님~ 행님~” 하면서 애교 섞인 사투리를 쓴다고.
이에 방송에서는 제작진이 준수와 정진우가 같은 대구 동성로 가요제 출신이라는 것에 착안, 수소문 끝에 당시 동성로 가요제 담당자를 찾아 2004년 제 15회 동성로 가요제 자료를 확보했다. 당시 17살의 나이로 동성로 가요제 무대에 오른 고교시절 김준수의 모습이 방송에서 최초로 공개된다.
당시 김준수는 수줍은 듯 어색하게 관객들에게 인사를 한 후 노래를 시작하고, 처음의 수줍은 모습과는 달리 숨은 노래 실력을 발휘해 금상을 수상한 뒤 완전 평면 TV를 상품으로 받았다.
이날 ‘스타 더 시크릿’에서는 김준수가 데뷔 전에 다니던 음악학원의 선생님을 직접 만나 당시 김준수가 참여한 앨범의 일부 음원도 공개된다. 지금과는 다르게 R&B 창법을 쓰던 김준수의 당시 음성이 ‘스타 더 시크릿’에서 최초로 공개된다.

The production team was also able to obtain clips of Junsu and Jinwoo in a singing competition in 2004. At the time, he was 17 and this will be the first time the clip will be revealed to the public. At the time, Junsu faced the crowd as if he was shy and began to sing after a short introduction. Junsu displayed his tremendous skills and won a TV as a award.
